Ben, I enjoy the cross-over work with your brothers and even the Goozquad guys. You and Yuri have an awesome vibe when you gents work it out together. I like Yuri's 23rd as well, as he's getting it done over there in a major way.
We like seeing you weld and figuring out transmission tunnels and stuff. You do such a interesting job figuring it out. Don't hide it from us. Your working well with your brothers and is amazing and great role model for younger viewers.
Really nice work. Some folks watching your design, fabrication, and build process questioned some of your ideas but a lot of them have don't have the vision to see the finished product. I get that all the time during that whole process.
Alot would be right. As a custom car builder of 18 years there are alot of things wrong with this build. Alot of people don't know about building cars and praise work that is inferior as they don't know any better. Good on him for trying but in this day and age the knowledge is at your fingertips, us old school folks had nothing but books and training to rely on or trial and error. This guy needs to sit down for 5 minutes and plan out builds, flying by the seat of your pants is not how to build a car, as is evident by his other mustang that is sitting collecting rust as he didn't spend even 5 minutes planning out his chassis. No bead rolling on his panels will cause oil caning and bead rolling would have added more strength than using thicker flat panels in his engine bay. He hasnt even done fitment of steering column and master cylinders with the engine in for crying out loud and yet it's "ready for paint" He built a transmission tunnel without the trans even in the car....And now again hes ready for paint and he has the standard diff and rear end in there still....could go on and on. People like to think just because he has a youtube channel he is more knowledgeable, which is a farce.

It's so nice of Yuri to give you a hand on the mustang......it's coming along great....paint it white with black bumpers, headlight crowl,grill,etc....
Great work Ben, it is great to see you and Yuri working together. It just seems when all of you guys work together, the quality of work is just amazing.
Yes I'm the one always telling you to PUT ON SOME DAMN EYE PROTECTION! I was heating up a nut to remove a control arm years ago when a rubber bushing EXPLODED sending hot rubber directly into my eye gluing my contact to the lens of my eye. I was that guy who refused to wear safety glasses until that day. I'd appreciate seeing much more content from you. Damnit, I'm about to send you cases of different types of eye protection. Ty and have a nice day.
Man you did well it all fits together nicely. That is one of only few mustangs that the floor was not completely rotten. And the rear quarters were not rusty. Its actually very rare its a fifty seven year old car. Oldie but a goody.
Ben you and your brothers helping are making your dream come true, with mock-up and welding y’all are killing it.car is definitely looking fine.keep doing what your doing 👍👍👍😎😎😎
Hey buddy, Bring that mustang to a good chassis shop and have the roll cage done and unibody frame connected. You’ll learn a ton and get some tips!!! Its coming along nicely.
White with blue stripes or a nice lime green with or without black strips, lime gold green looks good too or purple!! Can't wait to see the progress on this
I’m not a Ford guy, watching you and your brother creating a silk purse from a sows ear has made this old bowtie guy into a blue oval fan. Job well done!
the whole reason we are here is to see you working on your projects so don't feel bad about showing the process. a lot of us are learning from watching you.
The classic Mustangs were painted a Wimbledon white. This to me is a superb colour a little more creamy than the performance white and the Alpine white. As I live just down the road from Wimbledon I think you should consider this colour. Great build by the way and I actually prefer the shape of the coupe to the fast back. Don't know if I am allowed to say that though!!!
The best part of this is you brothers helping each other out. I watch all of your channels. The work you all put out is refreshing to watch. Thank you to a of you for sharing. Marc.. great camerawork too! Stay safe and be well! Slava Ukraini
love watching your work in process. I get a lot of new information from you guys. Thanks for sharing so much of your expertise with us. Great work and a great job with the Mustang.
Don't forget about the seam sealer, get some drain holes in the cowl, fit the break booster and steering box and make sure everything is on point before getting fired up with paint.... I'd go with silver smoke Grey with the Shelby stripes in Wimbledon white.. both are factory colors.... would be a sleeper
It is great to see that the car is all assembled, regarding the hood latch, maybe using the latch from the parts car mustang and being able to open only from inside the car like any modern car, the pins will work as well but using a latch would be good for a cleaner look, but anyway wathever you decide will be awesome!
What about the huge gap between the lower cowl panel and tubes that you installed? That has to be water tight. All water from the roof and windshields drain into that area. You'll never be able to drive this car in the rain or even use the windshield wipers.
Looking good vtune. White or black. I'm from Australia and a well known mustang here is owned by a guy named Gary myres who was a burnout king and his mustang was black and it looked fantastic. So black would be my choice. Keep up the good work 👍
I noticed that the vertical bars at the front of the cowl have large voids of sheet metal around them. You will get a shower from under the dash if it rains
you know friend your brother or friend who is with you in the video makes a good team you and him keep doing projects like that together I really like watching your video thank you
Who are these people who subscribe to a TH-cam car rebuild channel and who DON'T like watching welding, bodywork, and prepping for paint?? That's good content Ben! Just put the camera on the side and time-lapse the thing lol. Watching skilled metal artists turn sheets of metal into a finished product IS the attraction.
Looking good. You will want to do a rain test and see where the water goes. Your brackets for the hood hinges should get weep holes so water doesn't sit at the bottom. Also check where the water will drain under the valance where the wipers are...
Ben, the under cowl had 2 dams at the cabin air intakes to prevent water infiltration but you cut 2 entry points for the frame down tubes. How do you plan to seal to prevent water entry and how do plan to drain the water out of that space?
I was noticing no drains in the cowl, thats the real weak link in the mustangs, also noticed Ben was saying he wanted the exterior to look, OEM, if thats the case he needs a 65 grill, they were honeycomb design
Love how the engine bay is coming out. I’m hoping you’re keeping the white and blue stripes as it was. Regardless what color you choose I’m sure it’s going to look great.
Excellent work today V. You looked comfortable for the first (my perspective) time with the 'stang. Today's music was perfect for your flow and you're looking good!
This is crazy nice. This shows what VTuned can do. This is so much better than the other mustangs approach, and it's not going to weight 6000 lbs. Hopefully if the other Mustang ever does get built, it will be more along these lines than the entire car being far over engineered to the strength of a locomotive (and weight...LOL). So nice job, my unprofessional highly armature opinion, this is very impressive.
For colour inspiration, check out the original colours in 1965, and tweak on of those to your liking. Of course, a white with blue stripes colour scheme would suit this car, even if it may be cliche. If you go for something completely different, I still think Audi Exclusive Verdant Green is a fantastic colour. Just not silver or grey please. There's enough of those on the roads today. Like, seven out of ten cars maybe?
Looking good guys,It is really nice that you and your brother have an opportunity to work together occasionally on this one .He can definitely lay down the weld .
Lookin good. Instead of the normal hood pins, look on e-bay at Aerocatch hood latches. I have them on my race cars and the work great and look good to. You can even get locking ones if needed.
Great to see the family working together! I remember seeing one of these early 'Stangs painted an iridescent Pearl white. Don't know if pearl coatings are even available today. Hope all is well with your family in Ukraine.
I'm thinking a pearl white with the traditional Ford blue racing stripes, like the original color modernized. The pearl white on my wife's new Kia K5 (paint code GWP) is just gorgeous, and really sparkles in the sun.
What about painting it in root beer colour - a more old school colour might suit the car more than a bright alpine white. Looks so good with the panels on!
Hope you treat your bro to a night out or something. We all know you can do the work, but its always a nice humble experience including family and eases the work load. What ever you choose, we know its going to look amazing. keep it up man
Enjoying the progress, and as far as some comments about color I sure you have a good idea what works for you. I will say any shade of red has just been done too many times especially on a Mustang. Grey's and silvers can be found at any car rental agency. Make it shine.
Definitely consider adding torque boxes. 67‘ and upward had them installed to strengthen the unibody. They really make a noticeable difference. Not a difficult job to install, either.
