That SCF website has some Sick stuff on it, especially those watches, Wallets & phone cases! I’ll be ordering from SCF for sure!!! I’m also turning some friends onto their website as well. Big thanks to vTuned garage for telling us about them. 👍😁👍
Wimbledon white was a Popular color back in the day for these cars. I say add a couple of stripes over the car to make it look like a race car maybe Blue or a metallic blue and clear the whole car to had the transition lines. That would be bad ass.
Hi Ben,a lot of ppl are making good suggestions about the acid and safety,I know its a schlep sometimes to wear protective gear and take precautions, but it just takes one mishap and you could be injured seriously. Most people are concerned about you, thats all.Forget the negativety that mite be perceived.
You know what ? I'm enjoying watching you at your young age rebuilding a 1965 Mustang. I was 10 yrs old when the 65 Mustang came out. I've been around to see the Camaros, Chevelle's, Fairlanes, Torino's, come out after the Mustang to witness the Muscle Car Era brought on by the Mustang. Ahhh, the good ole days.
Man watching you spray primer and coat the whole car in the same color is so satisfying! Keep up the good work. And also Yuri is a professional! Like your dad would say!
Yuri has a really slick welding technique: just enough! This build demonstrates to me that you have matured into a thoughtful, authentic builder. Great job man!
great progress!!! love to see Yuri involved in this build!! I see you're using a gun to apply muriatic acid, pleaaase do that on ventilated areas, ideally outside and everyone near the car wear mask witj chemical filters (not just face masks), vapors alone are terrible for your health, not to mention you're pulverizing the liquid into small particles with the gun. Please be safe guys and keep it coming!! most epic build of the channel after the 720!
I’m tired of people in the comments that questioning your methods of doing things with this car. You definitely have the skills and knowledge to deal with it perfectly. I love to watch the channel, keep up the good work and I can’t wait to see the final result of this build
Dude, out of everyone i follow and there's many, you're not top 10. But this project at the moment is number 1 of everything I'm watching. Amazing project, this may be the one that makes you 👍
wear a respirator when spraying all that harmful stuff especially that muriatic acid,it will catch up with you down the road, kids nowadays think they're invincible.
Next time use a neutral stripper instead of Muratic acid. Also suggest a metal pretreatment under the epoxy like they do at the OEMs. All can be done easily in your shop.
Good work. You need a rotisserie to finish this properly.Yes white with blue stripes and also blue strip on the doors lower sides.Try get hold of some stickers for that with lettering
spraying muriatic acid inside your shop will flash rust any and all unpainted steel around it (tools, other cars, etc). It would've probably been better to do that outside.
I bet this car rusts like hell after it's painted, impossible to remove all the acid that's seeped into seams so I fully expect the paint to blister as metal starts rusting shortly after it's painted.
I used to work in a Concrete plant and we use a lot of that Hydrochloric acid to remove cement and concrete builds up in our trucks, and boy, that acid rust everything pretty quick.
I like the idea of spraying muriatic acid through that cheap gun. I never did that before that will save lots of time. Thanks for the skill tip, never too old to learn. I agree with you, I think white with the blue stripes like it was would be awesome. With blue interior
Great progress. I can’t wait to see what you come up with for steering and a brake booster. The engine compartment is going to get cramped really quick.
a form of white would be sick and clean opening to may choices for wheels calipers and interior colors and choices... a satin white seems to show off body lines pretty well in pictures but not sure what it would be like in person... or, McLaren white!!
Something to think about, take a course in Paintless Dent Removal, you could add nice profits to your shops income and give you an edge up on repairing dents.
Can't wait to see the end result! Two things: I would go for the GT350R front valence...and instead of the twin stripes...make it one solid stripe the width of the two stripes together...with a thin outline stripe. Guardsman Blue!
Nice to see you taking the time and doing this pony right! Maybe an option to consider for the powersteering is EPAS, straightforward, effective and space saving. Keep up the great work cant wait to see the next video
Dark highland green. There are tons of old white/blue stripe mustang classics on the road and they are great. Need to do something a little different, but a color that looks great on the older pony.
Wow what an amazing job on the 65 mustang. The modifications that you have made are going to look awesome when you're done. I have been enjoying your channel you have done a lot of great work .😀❤🇨🇦
Dude ! 17:00 I use to use muratic acid to balance my pool and I wore gloves and eye protection. Seeing you just spray it with out anything scared the ever living shite out of me. Be careful my friend. You can’t repair your eyes, lungs or skin after an accident like that with MA.
I’m liking this style soundtrack (like in the original videos), it suits this channels style better. Awesome progress, can’t wait to see how it turns out!
Hey just a little bit of knowledge, Rust is a micro organism, so when you grind it or wire wheel it away your just sending it somewhere else in the air. Then it lands on other panels.
It looks great to me. I chemically stripped my 65 and sprayed it with black epoxy primer. It looked so good I considered leaving it that way. It's red now. Your Mustang is going to be awesome. Thanks
Wimbledon white was a Popular color back in the day for these cars. I say add a couple of stripes over the car to make it look like a race car maybe Blue or a metallic blue and clear the whole car to had the transition lines. That would be bad ass.
Practice patience Vtune slow down don't rush yourself or the work you do in the end it will make you better at what you do and a lot less work in the long run. Keep up the builds you're only going to get better.
You should start building the roll cage, and connect it to the front apron bars. Bolting the cowl would been a better choice for painting or remove possible future debris caught inside.
Muy buen trabajo hermano excelente la restauración pero no olvides la seguridad ante todo siempre las gafas protectoras la vista es algo muy delicado saludos cordiales 🇭🇳👍
Build idea: I saw a Mustang California Special today with a stock car paint job all in patina. Pretty cool, but not what you are going for. BUT how about put a Shelby hood, front apron, and side scoops on it, and then graft in a set of Cougar taillights to make your own Cali Special. It would still be a coupe, but not like your average 289 Stang.
Excellent progress Vtune! You have a lot nicer tools to work the dents with than we had back when I was your age in the 70's! Pretty much all we had was the old style Morgan Knockers that you drilled holes in the panel & twisted it in until the threads were in and used the knocker to work out the dent! Ruby Red is a hot color for Mustangs! Anyhow like always I am looking forward to the next video!
Great progress in todays video.. looking forward to you patching the rear quarter panel and how you tackle the trans tunnel and epoxying painting the floors
your build will be considered the "Golden Standard" for classic restomods. by the way, the new dent pullers are an absolute necessity and dare I say it , "Luxury".
Silver with black stripes (I kno done before on alot of older classic vehicles. Orange with black stripes or reverse it black with orange stripes. Classic!! There is alot of classic cars that are white.
Muratic acid is some corrosive stuff. It does wonders eating away rust. However, it needs to be neutralized with soda after desired results. I hope it all turns out well. Some dislike acid dipping vehicles even though they are dipped in a neutralization tub after. The acid can leak out of the panel joints that didn't get good neutralization.
Mustang is looking great mate. Little advice with painting, try not to over extend your arm as it causes high and low build up in your paint and can lead to runs and dry spots. Other than that your doing an awesome job. keep up the great work.
You really should consider using a rust remover like Eastwood Fast Etch. It will treat and dissolves the rust leaving a protective zinc-phosphate coating -- some call it a cold zinc treatment for metal. If you used it you would not have had the overnight surprise of flash rusting. I have used prior to epoxy coating my last project with great results. I also used the Eastwood two part epoxy. Really good products. No I don't work for Eastwood.

Lol ive thought and said same thing many times but when I was young I did same thing until you get metal lodged in
Put a new model mustang dash in there

Yeah, I was 14 when the '65 was built, love all old muscle cares!
I was 16.
White with blue stripes would look amazing on this car! It’s coming along great 👍
Paint it the same color that you bought it with.It presented very well. Awesome job guys.
Man watching you spray primer and coat the whole car in the same color is so satisfying! Keep up the good work. And also Yuri is a professional! Like your dad would say!
White with the blue stripe is my favorite classic mustang color
White with blue as it was before, that's a good choice.
White body blue stripes or midnight blue with white stripes either way it will be a beauty 👍👍💗
Lots of work done in this video! I love to see this project move on to the next level with each video..great job!
#Hitydesign amazing ideas
Yuri has a really slick welding technique: just enough! This build demonstrates to me that you have matured into a thoughtful, authentic builder. Great job man!
White with metallic blue is gonna be freaking sick
great progress!!! love to see Yuri involved in this build!! Muriatic is just a terrible choice phosphoric acid actually stops the rust process muriatic doesn't
For colour, reversing the original combination would be epic, Nice metallic blue with a white stripe!
I’m tired of people in the comments that questioning your methods of doing things with this car. You definitely have the skills and knowledge to deal with it perfectly. I love to watch the channel, keep up the good work and I can’t wait to see the final result of this build
Thank you for your opinion.
Then don’t read the comments? 🤷🏻♂️
Simon open your eyes
😅
Perfectly? Calm down
Muriatic Acid should be rinsed after applied and removed from concrete ASAP as it will etch the concrete and remove the finish layer.

It will also eat that concrete and it should be neutralized with water then dried then epoxied
I damaged my lungs with that stuff as a kid cleaning my bike.. I had no idea it was toxic to breathe.. oh well not going to post about it.

It's a bad idea period
Throw some fiberglass filler where u welded the roof to the quarters to fill any pin holes before you put your body filler on
White with blue stripes would look amazing!
Great progress. I can’t wait to see what you come up with for steering and a brake booster. The engine compartment is going to get cramped really quick.
Did you ever see them under the dash?..
You & Uri make a great team. Any chance of partnering in all Vtuned videos ?

Mustang is looking sick. Make sure you have room to get the trans out with that tunnel. Can’t see through the camera but it looks tight. Looking good!
Alpine White!!! Excited can’t wait to see it Painted
Nice to see you taking the time and doing this pony right! Maybe an option to consider for the powersteering is EPAS, straightforward, effective and space saving. Keep up the great work cant wait to see the next video
Can't go wrong with a white with blue stripes paint on a Mustang. The car is looking amazing. Thanks and see you next time.
Dark highland green. There are tons of old white/blue stripe mustang classics on the road and they are great. Need to do something a little different, but a color that looks great on the older pony.
I would love to see it in Black with gold stripes, but white with blue stripes is pretty fire too.
Wow what an amazing job on the 65 mustang. The modifications that you have made are going to look awesome when you're done. I have been enjoying your channel you have done a lot of great work .😀❤🇨🇦

My thoughts exactly.
Safety has never been a priority for v tuned. Pity really. Whether it's spraying acid or grinding, these dudes think it won't happen to em.
I was cringing as well.... I have been cringing throughout this entire 'build'.....
Yuri is an ace body work man, and has endless charisma, I hope his channel does well.
Yes go with the white and blue stripes it would look really good
I’m liking this style soundtrack (like in the original videos), it suits this channels style better. Awesome progress, can’t wait to see how it turns out!

Hi Roger, he’s already said he’s not fitting a role cage as he car is only going to be a street cruiser.
#Hitydesign shdhs
Great progress V, White with Blue racing stripes would be sooooo cool!
Way awesome. Can't wait to see it fully painted.Love the way your strengthening the chasis in different ways too
Muy buen trabajo hermano excelente la restauración pero no olvides la seguridad ante todo siempre las gafas protectoras la vista es algo muy delicado saludos cordiales 🇭🇳👍
*You've come along way with this build mate* 👍
No safety glasses, no gloves ,no nothing! Ben is a honey badger. Honey badger, he don't care! The Stang looking sick!
Look up Top Notch Customs LLC for powder coating. Jason is an awesome guy that owns the business and he's not that far from you
You sir are a great inspiration to the younger generation. Keep up the great work 👍
Deep purple would look sick with a set of bronze wheels
I think pearl white with blue or dark grey stripes would look awesome!
I think blue with white stripes would look mega-classic! 🙏
I'm Tony lynch from south Australia I'm watching you restore the 65 mustang...I'm very proud of you mate
Great video 👏stay safe everyone ❣️
Top notch customs in flintstone for the powder
Definitely agree White with Blue stripe again!! 😍
Awesome work dude . White with blue stripes definitly!!

Yep White with blue stripes just like it was looked so cool
Are you going to do a windshield wiper delete too?
I vote matte black for the color. Between the widebody and the color it will give off a sick Hoonicorn vibe.
Good job Ben!! Paint it White with blue stripes. It would be cool!
Great progress in todays video.. looking forward to you patching the rear quarter panel and how you tackle the trans tunnel and epoxying painting the floors
Ospho my brother. Converts rust, no crazy surprises
Man this is starting to look real good! Well done!
Please wear eye protection when grinding. Not only for metal fragments but the abrasive disc can break apart.
i had a disc that broke free this week... scary shit
You’ve achieved a lot in just one episode! Well done Yuri for helping. Keep up the good work 👍💯👌
Acid - starts spraying wearing shorts, no glowes, respirator, eyeprotection.
Great to see the car coming together, ready for paint 👍
Looking awesome so far excited to see the primer on it.
Please... keep the white base color with the blue stripes! So cool this project! ;) Keep up with the good work. Greetings from Lisbon, Portugal.
This car continues to tell a great story of why classic cars need to be put back on the road! Thanks for sharing the journey!
I can’t wait for the next video you and yuri are making great progress with this build and it’s going to look amazing when it’s finished
loving this build, good job..
your build will be considered the "Golden Standard" for classic restomods. by the way, the new dent pullers are an absolute necessity and dare I say it , "Luxury".
Gotta keep those safety glasers on. Camera guy should be reminding you!
Black will look sport with some nice wheels...yes sir that you have it
Silver with black stripes (I kno done before on alot of older classic vehicles. Orange with black stripes or reverse it black with orange stripes. Classic!! There is alot of classic cars that are white.
That Eastwood grinder blows me away everytime I see it
White with blue stripes!!!!!!!! Hell yeah do it
White and blue stripes would be cool, Nice job. 😎👍
I cant wait to see this car finished, i feel its the poster child vehicle for Vtuned's channel, a work of art to always be proud of.
USA today #hitydesign
Factory white with the blue stripes would be killer.
Enjoying the build remember ppe especially you’re eyes
in high school my buddy had a sweet mustang that was white with metallic copper stripes, always liked that combo ever since that car :)
The bullet green would look pretty sick as well

Amazing job. I had one and I remember Those original panels where very tuff. By the way mine was blue metallic. It 👀 good 👍.
Muscle Cars always look good in a midnight blue in my opinion
Mustang is looking great mate. Little advice with painting, try not to over extend your arm as it causes high and low build up in your paint and can lead to runs and dry spots. Other than that your doing an awesome job. keep up the great work.
You should put in a 2015+ IRS out back. Made this car a handling beast.
Looking good with that primer
