Me too! I'm xjw 72 Yr old. I have an old black and white photo of my mum and dad standing beside Nathan Knorr when he came over to England to an International convention. My dad was always involved in doing the stage at big assemblies. The religion has so changed now. Its so obviously a cult when you look at it. Left aged 33 but had doubts from age 14 when I got baptised. Got shunned for nearly 20 years when dad died. Mum reached out to me, she needed to as she was struggling dealing with my mentally injured brother. I nursed her through dementia, for the last 4 years of her life, also my brother who I am now guardian of. Shunnings all very well till you need family!!!!
Thr hurricane thing.. oh my god. I live in Northeast Tennessee where it hit pretty hard. Three publishers were killed? Between my house and the main road we had quite a few lost. My husband and I were lucky. The dam that broke is literally 10-15 mins from us. I don't know why or how that water missed us ESPECIALLY since our house so close and we're in a small dip in the land. We could have been washed away too. But. Three publishers.. i can walk a mile down the road and ask people how many people were lost. A few days after I went to the store while my husband was working. There were so, so many wreaths on people's doors for those that they lost. Not myself because im disabled.. our people were out there on four wheelers and chainsaws cutting all of the trees out of the road. I know several people who literally jumped into that water and swam to get someone out. One of my people from high school.. shes the youngest of 3 and has two brothers. Well one of the brothers and his wife AND their dad were found the next day and theyre all okay. The brothers wife was found clinging ro a broken tree for dear life. The dad was found hiking to try and find SOMEONE, ANYONE to help. The middle brother found them. He swam against the current of the water and got them ro safety as well as their dogs. You don't expect that kind of weather in this area so it took us all by surprise. Im so, so thankful it missed me, my husband, and our four dogs. We didn't have power so we were all going to go sleep in the back of my SUV and then it came back on. I fell to my knees in my kitchen crying. Then once the WiFi came back (no cell service at my house) i started freaking out seeing everything. I couldn't believe it. I love cooking and theres never been a single soul who didn't like my food. I fought through the chronic pain from my health issues and made warm meals for people who lost everything. I hand delivered them too (as long as I could get there). People around here always take care of their own.. and although it wasnt much.. i enjoyed helping how I could. Theres nothing better than a warm and comforting dinner after everything. Lordy i know this is about JWs but the "three publishers" thing just sent my blood pressure sky high. That dude doesn't even know what we went through.
I lived through this sht. 100% it happened. I’d sit and think crap I want to be out amongst the stars with angels and god, away from these batsht crazies. Not allowed. Denied.
I remember that i really wanted to be with Jesus, when I was 11 but had to settle for a new world. My mum said 'you won't see me and your dad as we'll be on earth how do you feel about that?' So I was shamed to comply. What a stupid cult!!!!!
I honestly don't think they even get how ridiculous they are, they are so far gone into this brainwash they have lost all dignity and shame. The mere thought of self proclaiming being super special makes normal people cringe. I mean, if you meet someone who claims to be god's chosen one - you'd feel so much second hand embarrassment that you just had to leave the room.
Of the two methods you mentioned, it’s actually renting. This is the result of the policy change announced by the Society as “loan forgiveness”. The “Society Kingdom Hall Fund”, which had been started to bankroll the construction of Kingdom Halls for congregations which couldn’t afford to build, was converted into a pool into which all congregations would contribute to pay the Society for the use of their own Halls. This means that congregations which had long since paid off their mortgages and outright owned their Kingdom Halls now had those Halls taken out from under them by and the titles transferred to the Society. Those congregations are now paying rent to the Society for Kingdom Halls they themselves had owned in some cases for decades. In turn, the Society insists that those congregations continue doing the actual physical work of maintaining those Halls until such time as the Society decides to sell such and build new ones an hour or more away due to the related policy of “consolidation and contraction”. And some of us remember the last number of years of “reconstruction and expansion” not so very long ago! How the mighty have fallen!
It’s not even His real name. It’s disrespectful to use it. Show us in the Bible where Jesus called His father Jehovah? So many things about this org that says False Religion… sad for all the blind followers
I was always struck by International Assemblies and Special Conventions when attendees wore national dress because I knew they couldn't wear such clothes at the meetings week in and week out. Imagine a brother wearing traditional African clothes or a brother wearing traditional Serbian dress to the meetings. Even with the relaxation in dress and grooming, the elders would have a word with him and make him wear a suit. Mutatis mutandis for sisters
@SPARLOCK_THE_WARRIOR_WIZARD I ought to have made it clear that I meant in England. In the 1970s and 1980s, you would have been coerced into wearing a suit (or at least jacket and non-matching trousers), or else, no matter how many international assemblies you attended in the UK. I woke up in 1981, but I knew the dress code in England up until recently because I went to a few meetings up until 2017 to see a few friends I was nostalgic to see. I'm glad that you can wear African dress in the congregation in the West without penalty
Omg the feelings not reasons part is so true, it’s the reason why I myself got baptized, I remember when I dedicated my life I did it because I was feeling really good and happy, it was during a song at a meeting lmao😭 I was only 12 :( but now I’m 19 and free :3
From 1977 to 1994 when Lösch was appointed there were no additions to the Governing Body. So I think you are correct that back then the idea that there could still be more ‘anointed’ ones popping up was a touchy subject. Or they maybe were deluding themselves that the end was so close there was no need for more members. I’m guessing when Franz died in 1992 they realized they had to find some replacements.
Hilarious! Another Great video... I love how you strip all the lies (smoke n mirrors) away, down to the bones of the issue. You take away Any wisdom the 💩GB think they have. Good stuff.🥂
25:00 As a "born again christian" (aka I had a personnal experience with jesus), one of the 1rst things that made me realize these dudes are not christians is that NOT A SINGLE ONE, even gave me a testimony about Jesus. They also tell you how the "found the truth". But not a single one ever told me "oh, I was saved by jesus and he led me to the JW". This was very very sus to me... How can you call yourself a christian and have never encountered Jesus
@user-vo4wc2jz8g why can't people, Christians and JW's see who Jehovah/Yahweh really is? He is actually the devil Jesus alluded to when he rebuked the Hebrews/Israelites for worshipping their father the devil in John 8:44
@@morningglory9288 you state it as if it's fact, but it's down to interpretation of scripture. You have your opinion, other people have theirs. There are 40,000+ Christian denominations, each with their own interpretation
Oh boy you brighten our morning love your points but most of all your awsome way of presenting spit balls !!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣please continue much love from the uk ❤️
This may have been commented on already, but when they do relief work construction, they then collect the insurance claim money and get the labor for free. So, do they actually spend money on relief work, or do they actually profit from doing it?
Sometimes I think they all loathe this organization, but continue the “play acting” because they don’t believe they have an alternative life outside of the organizational structure.
Wally, can you tell me where I can find the Watchtower spend info for Real Estate and disaster relief? I have never been a JW, so I don’t know where to find this. I have a close family member that is a JW and this is something that I might be able to reference in a discussion with them.
We used to be told the WT KH & AH buildings would survive loll Then the sell-offs - to businesses, to other religious groups, to demolition by new owners - blew that argument out of the water. So much for "dedicating the building to Jeho***h" !! 🙄
Exactly - after the big A (which is not around the cornet, but imminent !) they could have the pick of the very best buildings in every country on the planet.
It is hard to reconcile the lack of clear, consistent direction from the governing body and how this business stays afloat. It makes me feel that the actual shareholders must be pressuring for changes to the direction of the company. Unfortunately, the rank and file are just tag -a-long cash flow. These clowns are a poorly chosen face of this business. Changes to the GB seem to be an attempt to bring some business acumen into the public face of the board. Still a scam, just sayin'. Wally, I appreciate how hard it must be presenting this organization for what it is and still having empathy for those affected. Speaking as a benefactor viewer, your efforts make a difference .
27:09 Jedele fails to include how his top tier Real Estate Career fits into his story. 💰💰💰 Also, if he worked "helping Missionaries with medical care", at that time he would likely have crossed paths with Magda Suong, wife of Richard Suong, who is one of past GB Guy Pierce's adopted sons. A lovely couple, I knew them well, and they were always good to me. Would love to speak with them now about this guy! This might be possible. Will let you know if this takes place!
Ever notice that the buildings shown in pictures of the new world (order, system....whatever) wouldn't be structurally sound and up to code? BTW, Wally, you nailed it as far as discrpencies between policy and new understanding. No oars in the water......
Every other denomination uses “the church” to refer to their overall structure, JWs using “the organization” is so cold and sinister sounding and cultish
when i was baptised, there were like 7000people in attendance and 70 people got baptised so 1% , higher than this , and this wasn't even a special convention, only a regional one
First and foremost we were told that in the last days there would be a great influx of people. Çan you imagine if Jehovah had destroyed the Egyptians first? Especially before the Israelites had left who of the Egyptians would have been available to leave with them? So, who do you think Jehovah is going to turn his attention to first? The last time I checked a parent will discipline their child first when they are caught doing something wrong with another child. So that leaves me with conviction - Jehovah disciplines those he loves, or corrects.. My second thought is about the halls - they now hold ownership of all of them. So my question would be - when a hall is sent money to remodel the building, why is it we have then received the money in loan form only to have to pay it back? Wouldn't that money be called an investment towards your asset? Especially if the building was paid for? So now all those halls affected by the recent storms, will there be insurance money for the repairs or loans while the insurance money goes north?
Wally please note these buildings are more than likely INSURED and labor is factored into any estimate. The amount of FREE money in labor that they are STEALING from the free labor is crazy.
23.58 and 24.49 Whatever book Brother Bacon Rump was studying at thirteen is almost certainly obsolete and therefore not true according to official, present-day JW doctrine. In which case, he wasn't studying the truth, he was studying the false
agreed..... donations to keep everyone mentally in.... the fact that said funds can be used for other purposes in the frosting on their real estate cake.
When i was pio they wouldnt buy me a cup of coffee at coffee break after an hour of leaving mags in laundry mats. I waited in the car until they got done.😅
Gerrit lösch is the oldest GB member (Herd is) but he is the longest serving. Also The proof isn't in the pudding. The proof of the pudding is in the eating😋 Just saying 😊 Great vid - keep them coming
I find it interesting that the two pioneer sisters who studied with Lurch were anointed, it's no surprise then that at some point in the future he claims to be anointed, these seems to happen frequently. Humphrey Egghead talked about his grandmother as a faithful Witness. I do wonder if she claimed to be anointed. It is almost a pass it on down the line kind of thing. I'm sure they will drop the 1935 thing soon.
26:05 which heavily reminds me of how Mormons are convinced their faith is true, I’ve never been part of that church or a JW but when I talked with LDS missionaries recently out of curiosity they challenged me to read the Book of Mormon and pray to know if it’s true or not, so a bit like how this guy became devoted but with a different text. Also based on my experience in how I ended up in another possible cult (it was a mainstream fundamentalist church) age 13 was around the time when I started becoming more and more devout in the faith I was raised in (possibly the greatest mistake I have ever done) so I imagine that teenagers are particularly vulnerable to joining such groups since they’re still trying to figure out who they are and their place in the world. I think this is called appeal to emotion fallacy and like Pascal’s wager it falls apart when you use it to try to prove your religion is true but turns out other religions and denominations are using that method too, in that case on what basis do you figure out which one is true?
JWs, MUST check Baha’i Community’s (a Religious) Convention , you can know it ain’t only your community that has similar happy smiles of bro and sis around the world😅, by the way WHY is it so similar with those colorful costumes with hugs😅
@ a lot of them live in Bethel or accomadation its not really fancy . But maybe there are things we don't get to see I suppose . I have been out for 20 years but have family members heavily involved . 😩
The beneficiary is Watchtower, the real estate company. After lining pocket with some of the profits, the rest is reinvested into acquiring newer, upscale, luxury properties. Along with these high value properties (private) they also scoop up low value, undeveloped properties. These will be sold to congregations who develop the property at their own expense. After some time, the property and the building will be sold at huge profit, again for Watchtower, and the cycle goes on and on. Pyramid scheme, literally; Watchtower was founded on pyramidology.
24:33 Am I the only who thought she said pugs instead of hugs? It sounded like pugs instead of hugs to me. "You get the pugs. I love pugs." That's what it sounded like to me.
0.72352 % conversion rate. If I was an investor, I would like to buy stocks from a company who pays dividends at around 1.5 % - 2.0 % and a growth rate of at least 2% year over year. The Watchtower wouldn't even show on my scanner....
So, Jody had that special ring from the assignment at Walkill (when transferred from cleaning to office ). Why only mostly to Westerners😅Did other brothers from other nations wear it in Bethel?
I just had an old JW memory. This must go back to either the 1970's or the 1980's. I wonder if the policy has changed? Namely, if a sister in the congregation is being raped and she does not scream out for help she provides her consent to the rape taking place and she could be disfellowshipped for either fornication or adultery. Does anyone else remember that policy from many years ago? I know there was a Sunday Watchtower article about it as my father was the Watchtower Overseer. Goodness only knows why we were taught about that as children but that's The Watchtower all over for you...being taught about bestiality at just 4 years old and not having a clue what it was referring to as a young child. The Jehovah's Witnesses are just batshit crazy people.
I remember once when I was given Talk Number 2 at about 6 years old and the passage of scripture I was given to read was all about sex and bestiality. Absolutely bloody crazy!

Wally I love your channel and rhe research you do to prepare your videos. Thank you 🙏
Looks like Losch has been borrowing Trump's tanning bed.
Yep I noticed that too. Bet he had a great holiday somewhere tropical all on the expenses 😂
I thought he was sick

Your logic is amazing, but sooooo true!
Yep- Wally you are honestly so amusing
Love your perspective on everything JW 😍 keep it up please
Jody has the GB pinky ring, but Jacob’s hasn’t been delivered yet. Evidently.
Good catch! 👁️
👏🏼😆
Didnt know they have rings like free masons tbh. So many things changed in 49 years i dont even recognize it 😮
So weird illuminating
😅
I lived through this sht. 100% it happened. I’d sit and think crap I want to be out amongst the stars with angels and god, away from these batsht crazies. Not allowed. Denied.
I remember that i really wanted to be with Jesus, when I was 11 but had to settle for a new world. My mum said 'you won't see me and your dad as we'll be on earth how do you feel about that?' So I was shamed to comply. What a stupid cult!!!!!
@@julieellis2076 that’s a powerfully true statement. But so sad.
Good information. thank you my dear❤❤❤
Publishers are just renters. Watchtower is like McDonald's in that they are the landlord and lease or rent the property out.
Yep. The congregation buys a franchise, but it belongs to “Jehovah” (Watchtower).
when I hear anyone say "Jehovah" it hurts, it feels super bad. YUCK
It’s not even His real name. It’s disrespectful to use it. Show us in the Bible where Jesus called His father Jehovah?
So many things about this org that says False Religion… sad for all the blind followers
Yes, because of Watchtower, the name Jehovah has a "bad association."
😮
Great session, Wally. Enjoyed!
Im really enjoying the random bowl. Glad you take care of yourself while working.

Yep very nationalistic isn't it and yet ....
@@julieellis2076Yes, nationalistic and thus not politically neutral
@geoffreybunting9837•
Bro, I wear my African clothes to the meetings, it's permitted on virtually every congratulation on the continent.

I don't live in the west, I'm African, I'm sorry, I didn't read your comment properly.
Keep up the good work Wally. Great critical analysis of the JW organisation.
Omg the feelings not reasons part is so true, it’s the reason why I myself got baptized, I remember when I dedicated my life I did it because I was feeling really good and happy, it was during a song at a meeting lmao😭 I was only 12 :( but now I’m 19 and free :3
calling people "Publishers" there ya go guys!
Or " good for nothing slaves" 😢
Just thinking: about baptisms. Does anybody have some old yearbooks? What were the figures of baptisms in those years?
Mr. Loesch looks well tanned ..and well fed 😊
fake like his religion
25:00 As a "born again christian" (aka I had a personnal experience with jesus), one of the 1rst things that made me realize these dudes are not christians is that NOT A SINGLE ONE, even gave me a testimony about Jesus. They also tell you how the "found the truth". But not a single one ever told me "oh, I was saved by jesus and he led me to the JW". This was very very sus to me... How can you call yourself a christian and have never encountered Jesus
Amen to that.
Every JW will tell you they have a deep and personal relationship with both Jehovah and Jesus. I was 100% convinced of that for 30+ years.
Why don't they pray for ALL those affected by the hurricanes? Only their own.
Great Job Wally thanks
Such a shame.. The devil preys on the weak and uneducated!!!!!
So it seems that Jedele was a desk man for the HID (Hospital Information Desk). They are over the HLC.
Oh boy you brighten our morning love your points but most of all your awsome way of presenting spit balls !!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣please continue much love from the uk ❤️
It feels like they are worshipping these "Delegates" and "Governing Body Members".
Yes, they follow after and worship men.
The governing body is "Jehovah."
This may have been commented on already, but when they do relief work construction, they then collect the insurance claim money and get the labor for free. So, do they actually spend money on relief work, or do they actually profit from doing it?
Jw s not known for giving services. Samaritans purse is stellar.
Sometimes I think they all loathe this organization, but continue the “play acting” because they don’t believe they have an alternative life outside of the organizational structure.
I too was surprised at the low rate of baptism.

Honey , the Christmas lights won't work . 😊❤
Did you guys notice that the new GB guys got their GB ring? It's so weird that they all wear a special ring 😮
Wally, can you tell me where I can find the Watchtower spend info for Real Estate and disaster relief? I have never been a JW, so I don’t know where to find this. I have a close family member that is a JW and this is something that I might be able to reference in a discussion with them.
10 million can be like 5-10 houses in the uk
I cant understand if the world is going to be destroyed why build new kingdom halls and renovatate bethal complexes
We used to be told the WT KH & AH buildings would survive loll
Then the sell-offs - to businesses, to other religious groups, to demolition by new owners - blew that argument out of the water.
So much for "dedicating the building to Jeho***h" !! 🙄
Exactly - after the big A (which is not around the cornet, but imminent !) they could have the pick of the very best buildings in every country on the planet.
Investor meetings🤣best commentary ive seen in a long time.
Chile is more developed than most of South America. That's definitely a contributing factor.
I wonder if they are transparent with the donated funds used for lawsuits?
You're right, religion is not based on understanding but in feelings and. emotions.
27:09 Jedele fails to include how his top tier Real Estate Career fits into his story.

Also, if he worked "helping Missionaries with medical care", at that time he would likely have crossed paths with Magda Suong, wife of Richard Suong, who is one of past GB Guy Pierce's adopted sons.
So now all those halls affected by the recent storms, will there be insurance money
for the repairs or loans while the insurance money goes north?
Wally please note these buildings are more than likely INSURED and labor is factored into any estimate. The amount of FREE money in labor that they are STEALING from the free labor is crazy.
You get the hugs a lot of hugs
23.58 and 24.49 Whatever book Brother Bacon Rump was studying at thirteen is almost certainly obsolete and therefore not true according to official, present-day JW doctrine. In which case, he wasn't studying the truth, he was studying the false

They are not a charity.
Where’s the info about the real estate expert?
No hospitals

JWs, MUST check Baha’i Community’s (a Religious) Convention , you can know it ain’t only your community that has similar happy smiles of bro and sis around the world😅, by the way WHY is it so similar with those colorful costumes with hugs😅

What I hate the most about these updates is that they always mention how "the brothers" have been affected. What about the rest of the population 😡

@@mattmurdock2868 makes sense free labour ! its a profitable buisness model for sure
