- The Jehovah's Witnesses have several umbrella entities that they run business through unbeknownst to their loyal JW followers. In this video we will look at one of these Watchtower "Charity" organizations and how they promote a lifestyle contradictory to what the Governing Body teaches JWs.

Over 50 years a Witness, got baptized 4/14/1973. I'm almost 73, I always felt unworthy cause I couldn't pioneer,etc. Cause I had to work to support my 5 children. Many times not included in things with adults found myself with their kids instead. Women didn't want me around their husband's cause I was beautiful. I officially left on 1/1/2024
That's the trouble with being a great beauty - women always think you're after their husbands (even the creepy ones). I got baptized at the same time as you in order to get married in the kingdom hall. Even as a married woman those "sisters" kept me at a distance. It's a form of discrimination!

Justin, you need to look into the luxury condominium complex (not just buildings) in Fishkill, NY and in Suffern, NY. Or the illegal nursing home they run at the Fishkill location. There is so much going on here; individual homes, industrial complexes, warehouses, luxury condos, brownstones in Brooklyn exclusively for the GB, the scope of it is just sickening.
I will definitely look into that!
There were a lot of public meetings in Fishkill about various planning requirements, it's an interesting watch.

I just went on that website and called the number. Someone answered and I asked if they do business for Jehovah witnesses which is a charity? She asked whether I am interested in purchasing a property and I said, just answer my question please, and guess what? She hang up, I guess my question was answered for me at least!

I showed this website to my jw mum about a year ago. She seemed a little shocked and next time I saw her she was told it was a fake website. She believes everything they say. Shortly after she had a shepherding visit. She is 85 years old
That’s why I made sure to cross check with the site that manages charities for that region. JWs have so much blind loyalty to the watchtower that they will automatically call anything a lie without doing their own research.
When I found out about the CSA problem within Jehovah's witnesses a couple of years ago, I tried to show my mother 89 years old, the signal on my phone was low and I couldn't get the ARC info, she smirked, I could tell she was thinking to herself Jehovah saved me. What she didn't get is that this is happening and getting reception on my phone doesn't change that. What struck me was the mystical thinking that Jehovah interfered with reception so that I couldn't share it, it's pathetic and sad.
I showed my father before he died and he got mad - at ME!! Said he didn't believe it was real!! I sent it to my sister recently too and asked her if she was aware they were selling luxury properties for the Elite. She said "No. And that's all I have to say about it." THIS is why Watchtower gets away with this stuf!!! Because the JWs TURN A BLIND EYE & literally REFUSE TO BELIEVE THEIR OWN EYES!! I replied again to my sister, " I think it's disgusting that they're selling expensive properties to the Uber wealthy while regular JWs are suffering!" And I haven't heard back. My family - and Jdubs in general, keep themselves ignorant.

Thank You. I am thinking way back. I can't imagine how difficult it must have been for people who left this Organization before there was this amount of support, such strength of character. They sold a Kingdom Hall near me. It was built in 1976 on donated land. Little country community but full every meeting. It had been remodeled and paid off years ago. It sat for 2yrs and finally sold for nothing…… now all the members are driving one hour away to another Hall and risking their lives on old backwood country roads especially the elderly. They could’ve kept that Hall for them and now all those members who worked and contributed and cleaned and did whatever for YEARS to maintain and pay off the Hall have nothing to show for it. This story is not unusual I know but people don’t realize that in rural America there might be 50 miles in between towns and now they are made to drive all that way for a meeting. Sad

The part being in need hits home for me. When I became a single mom, all I got was, "we'll pray for you." The very same people had the nerve to judge me when I got help from "worldly" people. This boils my blood when I think about what I went through with them.
Lastly, please look into including Eric Wilson from Beroeans Pickett in the new documentary. He is an amazing human being. He is the reason why I started celebrating my kids' birthday. He shared a scripture with me that will always stick with me.

Sorry, I raised 4 children in the organization. Got 3 out but now I lost my daughter and 2 grand children… they take whatever they can and destroy whatever they can they are pure evil, who shut the gate to the kingdom .

Yes, they've been selling luxury properties for decades. They even used to have Mansions listed on the IBSA page. Lately its all been luxury apartments. They're also building some 15min city-type buildings with apartments for regular people now too! [RENTALS, tho!] They're part of the whole UN 2030 agenda.

How many bethelites are homeless or broke after getting let go?
These apartments were used for the London Bethelites, they were just down the road from IBSA house. Me and my kids visted a brother we knew well who went into the London Bethel for a couple of years and he lived in one of these apartments. They are lovely. All the various buildings related to the London Bethel were spread over a 12 mile radius. The new branch is outside of London now, all on one site. All the buildings in London have been sold, these ones you're talking about are the last few left for sale. They're in a very expensive part of London. Times are tough, they need to drop the prices a bit in order to be able to sell them. I'm surprised they haven't dropped the prices yet!!

In wayback machine you can see older listings on this site. One of the addresses there is found in offshore leaks, linking the address and its inhabitant (a London bethelite) to a tax heaven.
It is highly likely that any renovations done to these properties were by volunteer labor. They pulled the same shenanigan when they purchased and renovated the Stanley Theatre back in the 80's. Tens of thousands of free hours put in by brothers and sisters. I bet that property is worth a fortune right now!

I had JW friends who came out of bethel and joined our congregation. He was a highly respected elder, his wife had an eating disorder. They built a *beautiful* home overlooking a lake, even though they barely made any money as part-time window washers. How? By nagging and bribing all the young men in our circuit to help them until the project was done! Then after a few years, guess what? They SOLD the house! I was devastated! How could they do that after what Jehovah had provided?! A pioneer who knew this couple their entire lives told me with a bit of disgust that the house was built to sell… If only that pioneer sister would look at the organization she’s been serving for nearly 40 years. 😕

No it’s not. The house does still belong to watchtower, he just lives in it, I’m sure rent free. They probably took good care of him, not wanting to risk that he “spill the beans” or write a book like Ray Franz.
With the money of the donations , I remember when an earthquake or hurricane hit an Island they built tin sheds for their survivors.

Legally, it isn't stealing. They made all of the congregations sign over their rights to the kingdom hall properties years ago.
So the scam goes like this
1. Watchtower lends the money to build at a lower interest cost than the bank (against the bible)
2. The congregation uses free labor and many times donated land and builds.
3. The congregation takes care of upkeep.
4. The congregation pays off the mortgage.
5. The building is put in the name of the Watchtower Bible and Tract society.
6. When property prices rise, they sell.
Definitely Immoral.
One thing you do need to account for though, is that real estate in England is Absolutely Nuts. Like wayy more expensive than in the US. And 1M apartments in the US are not exactly rare, just go to LA, SF or NYNY and its pretty standard if not low.

I was at a quick build Kingdom Hall back in the early '90s digging the footings for a new kingdom Hall and I asked several elders who were standing nearby, a question, whose name is the Kingdom Hall going to be in. They all looked at each other like a cow looking at a new gate😂 that made me feel very uneasy 25 years later I'm out

Are you talking about the duplex that they bought for him right after his ejection? Because this story made me immediately think of that. They own multiple duplexes in the same neighborhood and have a contract stating the he and his wife can live their lives out there. It's nowhere near the headquarters! A $250,000 duplex. It's a bit of a jab, because Morris only gets one side of the building.

Most of the really expensive properties aren't on the website anymore as they've been sold.
If you're giving or been asked to donate, ask them for a copy of their accounts, you're entitled, in England if your a charity you are required to give a copy of accounts to all who ask, its part of charity law in UK so I suspect there will be a similar requirement in other countries.
Stop giving donations until you get a copy of their accounts.
I was the finance manager of a charity, thats how I know , check it out. They will try to gaslight you that this is not so but it is and your entitled even if you give nothing, if that is part of the law in your country you can report them for non compliance if they BS you. In England its to the charity commission, the very same people who investigated them for child protection policies and procedures.

I also think that with “Nursing Homes”, people need to hold them accountable for any elderly abuse, neglect, fiduciary, etc. and make sure the Ombudsman Poster is up as you walk into a Nursing Home or Assisted Living, as these are the Government ADVOCATES to protect your elderly in the event of any suspicion of alleged abuses.

If these properties are gifted to them, then they would need to sell them according to the style of the neighborhood in which they reside. There are some wealthy Witnesses.

They used to be selling full Mansions on the site that they had purchased & resold. All the properties are in the same general area. And then how do you explain the dozens & dozens of Nursing care facilities they own & operate??? Were those all "donated" too? Sorry to burst the bubble for you, but Watchtower is a giant real estate company.

Beth Sarim & Beth Shem were really only to be used by Rutherford & his cronies. They (the org) owned those Mansions but lived in them. Today I believe the Mansions are considered "Historical Sites"? Not 100% sure? For a long time they were not properties for sale, so it's a little different. These properties are being build & sold to the Elites in society specifically for that purpose...and then, like I said, they have others that are more like 15min city-type properties with recreation areas, etc that they are building for classes of people below Elite, along the guidelines of the UN's project 2030 agenda.
Apparently still standing strong down in California and most witnesses have no idea!

These were just the old Bethel workers accommodation (NW4 postcode), being sold off now that they have all new accommodation in Chelmsford with the new Bethel.

For a fact jw runs a automóvil leasse company , for some CO and others can select from a fan off Cars for their service , all maintanece done from jw voluntires and i'm the end of what they consider bye law sell those automóviles to everybody with an extra price and taxi free. JW. Very sad 😢

Ask Vern at one of the podcasts. “Fixing My Faith”. They used him free labor to build KHs and he’s really got stories to tell about all that. He’s from Canada.

I couldn’t help making 2 observations on your video. And with all due respect to your own thoughts, no criticism intended, just expressing myself.
1) At about 10:45 you speak of “tax collection”, or the like, in my opinion, it’s much more serious than that!
I’m a little surprised that you don’t see it as something far more serious!
The behavior of the gb and its hierarchy amounts to extortion backed by what amounts to a death sentence in some cases. Those are tactics of organized crime!
I’m not a lawyer but I strongly suspect that this amounts to felony. Just saying.
2) About the protest in Washington DC this coming September, I’m of the opinion that the wt and all its iterations has committed crimes deserving of more than just paying fines (see above), and I’m wondering if there are exjw lawyers who would be willing, on a pro bono basis, to build up a claim against, jointly and severally, the whole lot of them for providing some financial indemnity to victims of various abuses PLUS indictments against the top brass (with the accent on “ass” 😂).
Plus whatever else is possible, various class action suits…
There’s sufficient evidence of them concealing/destroying evidence of CSA, amongst other egregious acts of perjury, etc.
Protests alone don’t tend to accomplish much. I’m just saying.
I would love for a lawyer to look into the things the JWs are doing. A lot of their practices are unfortunately protected under religious freedom laws but there’s gotta be limits to that. It would be nice to have someone with a law background who can look into it.

Perhaps I missed it and if I did I apologize, but how did the IBSA acquire this property or the other properties people are referencing in the comments? Was it donated or did they build/purchase the property with intent on selling for a profit?
The Watchtower has a real estate acquisition department at each of its regional branches. The IBSA expense reports would suggest that the majority of these properties were bought, renovated then sold. Other properties are just held for value. That being said, I have no problem giving them the benefit of doubt that at least some of these properties could have been donated to the Watchtower. However, entities like IBSA are unknown to most (if not all) active JWs which means any property donated would be directly to the Watchtower organization (which is how it’s set up on their donation site). Since IBSA is technically a separate entity, there would need to be a paper trail to transfer these properties from the ownership of Watchtower corp to the ownership of IBSA charity.
