That would be a logical addition to "new light" that the number 144,000 in the book of Revelation is symbolic and not literal. I wouldn't be surprised to see that announcement to be made soon. There would then be no need to count partakers at the Memorial or teach their numbers would dwindle as "The End" draws close.
When I was like 15 or 16, I happened to strike up a conversation with a bethelite who was a visiting speaker. When I got to talk to him, I asked him about what he did at bethel. Over the course of the conversation, I wouldn't understand the significances of all of it, but one thing that stayed with me is he talked about that he handled investing with a "focus" in "agriculture and farming tech stocks" That was the first time I ever heard the reality that the organization isn't divorced from the financial world, not kept alive only by "voluntary donations". Exploiting people of their money, of their time and labor - through false emotional begging. To build more buildings to get more workers and money. And on and on and on.
Have you ever visited the headquarters in New York? Did you taste those fresh eggs, chicken ,meat, and fruits and vegetables that was served in something like 10 dining rooms each with over 100 people in them? Do you know where they were grown? Right in the Watchtower complex.
@@archieliburd3794 Are you a JW watching EXJW content? Curious. At one time, yes, I believe "watchtower farms" did grow most/all of their own food, but I don't believe that's the case any longer. However, that has nothing to do with what I said. As a kid I had nothing but respect for the men/women who worked there, or for the massive production it is to feed all of them. The other side of this coin, however, is that families in some of the poorest corners of the world are showing their children videos of a young girl named "Sophia" donating her "ice cream money" to the organization instead of using it to get herself some ice cream. The irony here is that I've had the ice cream from that bethel, and it wasn't bad at all. SOMEONE had to pay for that ice cream. And the reality is that it's paid for by the members, the profits made from selling properties, as well as the returns on investments made into the stocks/markets just like any other corporation. The bit that makes the joke even more bitter is that the video that will be shown in some third world country to guilt children (and their parents) into donating was made on that beautiful campus, big, comfy, clean, air-conditioned buildings with massive, delicious, meals and luxe apartments. In the U.S., whenever someone works a job, a small portion of their paycheck is set aside into something called "Social Security" (I have no idea where you are from) so that when you get old, the government pays out to you for your hard work over the years, to sustain you, in case you haven't saved that much away yourself. Why do I mention this? All bethelites have to sign paperwork which allows the WT to set aside nothing for them into this program. Perhaps that sounds fine - after all, JW and his organization will take care of them, right? Not always. Certainly not if you leave the org. Many people who arraigned their life around going to bethel were suddenly, and without explanation "returned to the field". I personally knew several who worked there for the better part of two decades - meaning they had essentially ZERO income, and in many cases some small debt, AND - nothing set aside for them in the future (a la social security) so they might come in during their mid 20's and then enter their 30's with nothing saved, no social security, and no support. This is the truth. Regardless of what JW's believe, THEY are the organization, and the organization only takes, takes, takes. Go from door to door, bring us more members. Sit in our hall. Put money in our box. Don't go to college, but keep giving us the little money you have. Learn a trade, come work on the buildings we tell you to. Try and find more things you can do for us. Are you doing enough? Could you be doing more? You should do more.
Watchtower has ALWAYS been a business: "The Watch Tower Society is not a religious society for public worship, such as a church, but is a business corporation..." - "Facts For Shareholders", p.2, November 15, 1917 Watchtower's original Charter: P.3, VII: "The said Corporation by its Board of Directors, a majority of whom shall constitute a quorum for the transaction of business...."
Let’s say you’re right about the real estate premise. The Borg is making money hand over fist. What happens to these poor “volunteers” once their usefulness has expired? Tossed away with yesterday’s trash? Huge employment gaps when retirement comes around?! Just freaking incredible.
I think WT organization did a “Purge” in the nineties where a lot of Brooklyn Bethelites were let go knowingly WT GB’s were planning on SELLING the Brooklyn Bethel !!! Many of those Bethelites had to go back to where they came from…mind you without a retirement or pension plan !!! 🤨😕

Solid video. Once I watched a documentary on McDonalds and how they're more of a real estate company than a fast food chain, I saw how the organization is doing something very similar.
Thank you this is 100% on point excellent video Wally. Manipulating their followers for free labor,ect.ect. While they make huge realty investments, and generate major cash flow that is mind-boggling. The most insane part of this is the ranking and file Jehovah’s Witnesses are like blind sheep, following the leadership obediently, 100% obedience to a group of men who have elevated themselves to divine status that truly care nothing for their membership who see the members only as a way to further their monetary gain.
The amount of loyalty to an organization of people, with no direct purpose, Who honestly believe they may, or may not make it to Paradise earth because they may have not done enough lol. Their main goal is to recruit new members and follow a group of men who claim to be divine.

I think you’re spot on Wally! I‘be been thinking that they stopped being a publishing company and became a real estate company since their “hostile takeover” of the Kingdom Halls back in 2013. Now, thanks to your research, I can clearly see how they’ve put all the pieces in place they need to finish transforming the org into a massive commercial real estate company/business.
No Wally you are not smoking the pipe . You make absolute sense. Now it makes sense why they are selling the assembly hall in Queens. I used to go there back in the 70s. And thanks for that update on that new building on long Island. It all makes sense. It's all about the real estate.
Think there's only two different reasons too choose from. Either they going online or probably dissolving org. Cause there was a video about selling 6000 halls. Maeby they selling out everything
@@joniqs91 video is probably around in some ex jw channel. Think i saw it 8 years ago. It was a video directly from head quarters. Not made for the public or jws. It was a meeting they had saying they would sell 6000 halls in coming years. It's around on TH-cam. Many people know about video
That was a perfect business plan… where do I sign.. The only 2 words I could add to it all would be… …TAX FREEEEE… .. what a racket.. If unrealised capital gains tax comes in to law, the churches and charities will own everything in town.
I wonder if the faithful slaves/the top ten and the 144k are aware that we all are eternal spirits in the physical body and they are not going to let the rank and file in on the secret? Otherwise they wil lose control over the congregants. My mother is now 83, I explain to her that she lived almost a full life and no matter what soon we all transcend to our base reality. Recently she listens compared to previously when she just shrugged me off, mocking that I should start my own church under a tree 😂. Ooh and how and what to think and what not.
How right you are Wally... Absolutely Crazy this is so happening just like you said. GB Always have Money in mind. Love the way you put this together Wally keep us updated.
A lot of this now makes sense with them making smaller Kingdom halls. It's easier to sell than a big building, so if you build a small building you open up a whole lot more of opportunities to sell
Not just smaller KHs, but WT intentionally has designed KHs so that they can easily be renovated into offices when they are sold. In other words, WT plans on the eventual sale of KHs BEFORE they are even built!
According to WT, "Jehovah is in control of everything within his organization, and Jesus is aware of developments in each congregation." w06 7/15, p.23
I've been saying since CoVid happened that Watchtower has made a fortune, not only because of what they were saving from the Zoom calls.. but all the properties they sold.
Anyone else surprised that a GB member said he knew everyone was going to Google the new GB members? They used to have a hard stance on not looking at anything JW related online except for their official site. Guess they know people aren’t following that rule.
Lodging taxes?! That lying sack of crap! I grew up a couple miles from that site. My parents are still there. They have a rotation of workers staying in their house, which is the same for almost everyone in the congregation. Most of these workers are NOT staying in hotels, they’re being housed and fed in private homes. He is intentionally selling a lie because nobody outside of the witnesses know this is how it works!
You gonna see them come up 1 day with a trade school? Where you can send your kid. And they will teach them how to do electrician stuff. Plumbing carpenter work all that stuff. They need to do to build kingdom halls and then sell them
Wally...thank you, thank you for confirming what I been thinking of Watchtower has been doing for the pass few years! This " new " Governing Body member confirms my suspicions! Damn...this has to be one of the most eye opening videos you have ever done! Glad to be a subscriber of your channel!
So let me get this right… this guy has been running an international real estate company whilst signing a poverty thing at Bethel and being in full time service at Watchtower? Hmmm, something doesn’t pass the smell test here.
Look no further then West Palm Beach FL. In the late 90s-2000s ish they bought the first District convention center. They immediately sold off half the land and Home Depot, chick fil a, etc came in. Maybe, could've, possibly been the spark. Or maybe not, but it is a perfect example of what you described here js.
Well done. Keep exposing them. Going after our children infuriates me. I wasted my whole youth & mid-life on them. My best income-producing years used up.
That's the reason why they have that 1 new governing body. He's gonna sell it to somebody that he knows that's in the organization. And that money is gonna be funneled back to them. Because you're going to put up restaurants and hotels. And the organization is still gonna get its money. From hotels in restaurants, so when this place sells, you need to follow-up. Who buys it and where it ends up
Yes and yes. I enjoy comparing them. Shunning in WT is identical to Scientology. I personally think WT is worse, because it shuns in the name of God. Scientology does it in the name of ...... Xenu? Body Thetans? And the Mormon Church in Australia is extremely wealthy. It siphons off the money to Brigham Young University every year.
One problem is that Brothers and Sisters aren't going to work on non Assembly Hall projects. They'll be asking themselves, "Why am I working on this!?"
They don’t think. They’ll do as they are told. Parents will make their strong sons do the work to “learn values” and get job experience to put on a resume for some worldly job someday. Only if the Org cuts them off, they’ll have no references, no support, no benefits or insurances to fall back on, no where to live, no world know-how and nothing can be done about it since it was just voluntarily done.
If a Bible scholar or, an expert of ancient languages and religious text had been appointed as a new member of the governing body well then, I`d think these people had serious intentions in helping mankind worship God. Instead, they appoint an expert real estate money man that will now be in charge of your faith, making public declaration that this is a business. But don`t think about it. Just look how cool the governing body members are with their beards. They don`t look like money changers at all. ✌
I don’t understand why people would follow a religion where the guy that started it rewrote the Bible all by himself to make it say what “he” wants it to say, and why let a small group of guys tell everybody what “they” think it means, rather than read it for themselves.
Hey Wally. I've always said Watchtower is a business at heart using religion as a tax exemption scheme. Rutherford didn't create JW as a 'religion' ,but a tool to get the best of two worlds. It was his doctrines that the new movement followed, changing tit bits to be more modern. The emphasis was always & still is their financial status.
Thank you for all you do. ❤🙏God has been so good to me, I was homeless with my family. But God came through for us my family are happy once again and I can now afford anything for my family, after so much struggles. Regardless of how bad it gets on the economy.
I had a lot of financial crisis then, I can recall when I was homeless and faced with many things in life until $47,000 biweekly began rolling in and my Life went from A homeless nobody to a different person with good things to offer.
Giving her my initial savings of $8,500 to invest in a brokerage account was a turning point in my life less 7days. It's been an incredibly rewarding experience.
The Assembly Hall bit heavily reminds me of the increase of temple building the Mormons are doing that I’ve learned from ex-Mormons and it may be for similar reasons, I wasn’t raised in that church or JWs so I’m wondering what’s the difference between that and the usual Kingdom Halls?
Their business model has done a 180 and changed, In the past they desperately needed people for profit/ donations so they inforced all of these extremely strict culty rules to keep members inside. Now fast forward today, the members are needed but really not needed like in the old days... Fast forward today in this cult/big corporation, that is why they are relaxing many many rules ( removed ppl from the governing body aka *Tony Morris who was an embarrassing liability* to the corporation) they will continue doing so in the future along with changing all the teachings. All of these new changes that seemed shocking to us means nothing to them because they really don't care at this point about members like the past. The changes is a front for the public to protect the organization image while slowly blending in with other religions to draw attention away from themselves. Their money making scheme is now investments stocks and they are delving deep in the world of the real estate game. Brilliant strategy by this organization!! Great way of breaking it down Wally!!!
I can't wait to celebrate my birthday publicly so as not to offend my still-in "friends". I believe this is the next big change. The ban on birthdays is so absurd and obviously not Biblical
just make new ones. Honestly. Jw kids are not your friends. You didn’t pick them to be your friends. It’s cause you were part of a common interest. just embrace the double life they always talk bad about and genuinely make friends without the fear of them not serving the same god .
But their construction practices have no workers/volunteers rights. No workers comp and no formal training. A 16 year old girl lost her eyesight at a project. Did watchtower cover costs? Help her get rehab? Change practices and training? Nope! I hope this opens them up to a huge lawsuit(s).
@@MichaelSmith-zx5lw I volunteered for the building of Kingdom Halls for 7+ years. I installed carpet for a living and was a part of the painting department. My parents just spent an entire week and a half off work to go help a build... they came and had dinner with me and my kids on their day off because it was only about an hour away from where I live, and mind you, I've been disfellowshipped for over a decade. It kinda gave me a sense of satisfaction knowing they were breaking bread with an apostate and then took that "evil" energy back with them to their build 😂 but in all seriousness it was so hard to hold back from telling them my opinion, about how them sacrificing their own money, time and energy means nothing to those men who just want their labor. In dramatization about Lot's wife it's bad that women is a real estate agent( she should be focused on being a mom, wife and pioneer)....the same time the governing body member can own a corporation, which is clearly connected with a real estate biznes. Is he really dedicated on his sheperd work? Is he away from ''the word''? It's shocking, that they do not even care about witnesses, who can check this guy online and find THIS.
I dug ditches in the hot IE sun, for pipes during the Mira Loma, CA construction project. It was miserable. So unorganized. Too many brothers with big egos that thought they were in charge. Had to re-dig multiple spots. 🙄
My husband and I have gotten out of this false religion, he said the explanation of the "overlapping generation" was a scam. He said Yeats ago that they would start appointing younger men to the governing body and do it in a way that tge rank and file won't notice. That way they can keep their lie going, and he was right, the new gb members are all younger especially these last 2. I'm so glad I didn't bring anyone else into this religion. Not to mention the awful treatment from these godless people
Very interesting! I remember growing up being taught as the governing body members began to age and die off we will be closer to the end. I wonder how some of the people feel as they keep throwing these younger members in.
Man, the GB is crazy lucky to have one of the new members be an expert specialist in the exact area they're putting focus on! What are the odds??
Nice job on the video. This is crazy. What a bunch of thieves.

Wally, nice job on this one. You unraveled a big ball of string on this ingenious business plan.

Yeah they made video years ago about selling out 6000 halls. There's nothing new about this. They gonna become a online religion
Anyone else surprised that a GB member said he knew everyone was going to Google the new GB members?
They used to have a hard stance on not looking at anything JW related online except for their official site. Guess they know people aren’t following that rule.
They said it in a reverse psychology way, so you actually don’t Google them since they already gave you the info
I found comfort in this video. It is good, and such a relief, to know I am not the only one with a caffeine addiction who has 1am toilet thoughts!

Well done. Keep exposing them. Going after our children infuriates me. I wasted my whole youth & mid-life on them. My best income-producing years used up.
Im curious about how much money they made with us when we used the approved hotel list for assemblies...
To think we “are privilege to have these discounts as an organization” now makes my head hurt, I feel dumb.
Who buys it and where it ends up
Wally, I think you hit the point! 👏👏👏
It would be interesting to know if other religious sects have been operating a similar business model. Mormons, perhaps? Scientology?
Yes and yes. I enjoy comparing them. Shunning in WT is identical to Scientology. I personally think WT is worse, because it shuns in the name of God. Scientology does it in the name of ...... Xenu? Body Thetans?
And the Mormon Church in Australia is extremely wealthy. It siphons off the money to Brigham Young University every year.
Mormons. Vatican.

Hey Wally. I've always said Watchtower is a business at heart using religion as a tax exemption scheme. Rutherford didn't create JW as a 'religion' ,but a tool to get the best of two worlds. Sounds like (to me anyway), Watchtower is more about money than spiritual.
Their business model has done a 180 and changed,
In the past they desperately needed people for profit/ donations so they inforced all of these extremely strict culty rules to keep members inside.
