  • Update on 7th Aptil: The micra has been sold!
    Picked up this pretty Nissan Micra CVT in white. ITs a
    2013 Single Owner Micra done about 45700 kms Petrol which has been very well maintained.
    I'm looking for a prospective buyer and this can is on sale for about 3.5 Lakhs.
    The best part of this Micra is its smooth CVT gear box and its comfort. It gives you the premium look inside and out and is quiet a looker.
    I had taken the Micra out to the beach (did around 60km) to test its gear box, suspension and AC having been owned for almost 9 years. The Micra performed really well and seems like a good functioning car in the market now. It passed all the stress tests without any worries and absolutely no work on it. the car was pretty quiet without any noise from the steering, suspension or brakes especially the gearbox delivering smooth power. This proves to show Japanese cars are fuss free to maintain and run.
    I hope I find a worthy buyer to take this Micra home!
    Disclaimer: At the time of making this video, the car has been solely owned by UniqCarz.

    Sir, pls share the safety rating of Indian Nissan Micra xv cvt 2016 model.

    I am evaluating a Nissan Micra CVT in my city. That one is also a 2013, found no obvious signs of rust (but I am no mechanic), the car drove well, with no issues I could observe in steering, braking (not sharp but no judder), steering response and was good, I couldnt perceive any excess noise from the suspension, rattles were likely from lose stuff in the boot.
    Car has been touched up plenty of times (don't mind cosmetics), all 4 glasses matched up. No warning lights. Intended use is actually the school run (32 kms per day) in city traffic.
    There is only one Nissan dealer in my entire city.. how difficult is it to find parts for this if something does go wrong ?
    What else should I watch out for ..it's with dealer outside the main city so not many mechs willing to go all out there to check things out for me.

      Forgot to add, tyres are crappy Chinese ones upsized to 185 section, so likely the earlier owner was , let's say, "economical", with the maintenance.

      @UniqCarz  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You said it right, the cars been maintained economically. Parts are not that hard to get, it may take some time since your not in the main city. like for e.g door handles, or the key covers on the door, these may be hard to get. most parts are available online. But what ever car you buy having a trusted mechanic is essential.

    • @UniqCarz
      @UniqCarz  ปีที่แล้ว

      if it is a single owner vehicle, I'm sure you can call up the Nissan dealer and try to get a history. Not sure if tvs/go mechanic are available there, but they do inspect the vehicle for 2k or so. The main thing is we need to determine the authenticity of kms, if its a tampered vehicle (with higher than 1 Lakh kms), we could be looking at timing chain replacement, and other periodic maintenance.

    • @sajo21
      @sajo21 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@UniqCarz thank you, it is a single owner vehicle.
      Authorized service history ends at 2019, at around 30k on the Odo. most of the service history actually are accident repairs like clockwork every 3-4 months in 2017. The current odo reading stands at 55k+. The asking price is ~3.5L , which is on the higher side I feel, but not many of its kind on sale in the western Maharashtra region, it seems to be higher in price.
      The seat slider mechanism is stuck for front seats, while the rear seat base has come off, so my wife couldn't take a test drive as well as her feet couldn't reach the pedals comfortably, otherwise would have tried to close a deal few days ago itself without giving it much deep thought.

    I booked 2015 registered nissan micra cvt, in spinny it'd 3.99 lkh single owner, well maintained car bit scratches as the car ran around 1.05 lakh kms, it's a bangalore registered vehicle and I live in bangalore, jst for the cvt I booked the car, is it okay? And service history till the last km is available, are there any problems I'm gonna face if I buy it, can u please reply me back...? Thank you you!

      Hi. If the car is well taken care of with regular oil changes, suspension etc then no issues. You will definitely have issues coming up, but nothing major as long as the car has a solid history of maintenance. The biggest plus of CVT is the reliability and ease of repair. Please double check the transmission via another mechanic, as sometimes reports by spinny, olx, cars24 can be misleading.

    Hi Sir, whats your take on Renault Pulse petrol 2013 top end model rxz, is it a good car to buy ? Is it reliable and low on maintainance ? Are the spare parts availabe easily in the market ? I had come acrosss a second owner renault pulse the car is 82,000 km driven till now. The car is in Goa, what should be the approximate price for this car (based on the condition) ?
    I'm new to driving have learnt to drive last few months ago, want to buy a decent value for money car to practice, unable to get Honda Brio under 2.5 lakhs. Is i10 and Grand i10 a good option a well ?

    • @UniqCarz
      @UniqCarz  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hi Vaibhav, Renault Pulse is similar to Micra but sold in lesser numbers. Spare Parts wise, there are lot of common parts with the micra except for Renault specific parts like the grill etc which may take longer to source.
      RXZ top end should come with all the features like stop start button, dual airbags etc, (there was a safety pack launched without airbags with low bhp engine, avoid that if your into features) 82k kms is decent for a 2013 second user vehicle.
      Price wise im not sure as goa registration cars are lot cheaper. a similar spec RXZ Pulse should be in the market for around 2.5 to 3.30 lakhs in Chennai
      For a new user, a micra/pulse should be good. for e.g the steering on the pulse is very light and responsive (comparing the I10) the gear shifting is smooth, clutch systems are also softer compared to others (brio is the best). plus i like the turning radius on the micras/pulse.
      Honda brio's are rare, they come at competitive prices, most of my clients for the micra's were because they couldn't find a brio at a good deal and had to get the next best thing.
      Brio is class apart from the above cars in terms of smoothness and refinement. (engine/transmission) But lack features of a Hyundai Grand or a Nissan
      Brio will be slightly expensive to maintain compared to the others.
      Micra/Pulse i would suggest only for the top end.
      Comparing the i10 to micra, its micra any day unless its an I10 Asta with sunroof. I10 has a more smoother engine to micra but will consume more fuel.
      Grand i10 i doubt you will get in that price segment, if you do get a genuine 2013 asta/asta (o) under 2.5-3L its a better deal than pulse.

      @@UniqCarz Thanks for the reply sir, looks like pulse can be a good deal if the kms are genuine and the car is maintained well.
      Yes the price of grand i10 sportz 2014-2016 ranges between 3.50 to 4 lakhs.
      Even the Ritz is priced on a higher side for less driven car like the price range is between ₹2.80 to ₹3.25 lakhs.

    • @UniqCarz
      @UniqCarz  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Ritz is actually a good car if two to three ppl will use it. Ritz, only if you don't get a swift. But, given todays market, 2012/2013 Ritz Zxi for 2.80 is a decent deal.
      Engine wise its quiet powerful for its size. its a better pick than a wagon r.
      Maruti and Hyundai cars are over priced in the used market, hence these micra/pulse come at a decent price with more features.

      @@UniqCarz Hello sir, I have found a used nissan micra 2013 (facelift verift) CVT petrol. It is a second owner car and the car has clocked 90000 kms on the odometer. The second owner had bought it when the odometer had clocked 85000 kms. The second owner has serviced it as local mechanic. The reason why the second owner is sellling it is because we is retiring from his service and wants to sell it before moving back to his home state.
      Whats your opinion on this car ? can this be considered ? The price quoted by the owner is pretty high 3.45 lakhs. The car is olive green colour and looks like well maintained from interior and exterior from the inital impressions.
