Vento 2012 model owner. Fuel injection system warrantyil matti in 2014.
After that 3 injectors replaced , 4 abs sensors replaced.
Around 10 k for suspension works in 2020.
Anyway no problem in engine performance.Good performance and mileage.
Most of the 1st genaration vento had this injector issues, because of poor quality of diesel in india....
Later vw replaced with india friendly injectors 🥴

I been using Cheverlot optra Magnum for 6 years . I bought it for 2.5 lakh then , yes it consume some money , I spend around 1.6 lakh in 6 years , but no car under 20 Lakh can give you this much power in overtaking ,only problem I found is that I had to buy parts from Delhi . I have driven it from Delhi to Lucknow. Lucknow to sambalpur . You get the feeling of Benz car in it . Yes ,after 6 years I had to change all clutch , from fly wheel to clutch ,spend 45000 for it .used 48000 km by now , it's a 2009 model Diesel
I think in kerala congested roads ,Honda Amaze , Grand i10 , Kia seltos , Scorpio s are good , In North India it's Hyundai Venue SX Diesel & Aura Turbo , Ford Ecosport 2016-19 are very excellent vechiles

I am an automobile enthusiast and used all brands except Tata and Mahindra i will not consider them for another five years because they have to improve a lot more. As you said out the cars Optra Magnum is the one which troubled me a lot, Lancer Diesel, Duster 110, Micra Diesel and Petrol AT(except its poor fuel efficiency) are the ones i like most. Regarding Maruthi they are using inferior metal sheets to build the body may cause door noise soon and will affect safety the engine and gear box are pretty good. Your reviews and opinion are are very good honest true and is a guide line to the public thank you.

So prices for used cars have increased. 2012 models are there for around 60000/, but I'm looking for 2014 and newer models of Nano, due to to its better steering and overall fit and finish. M using polo 1.2 Petrol. It's been more than 4 years. Only issue m facing is that ABS censor. Apart from this m pretty much satisfied.
Most commonly seen issues with polo is ABS sensor cases.. ! Cost of repairs - if incase it occurs - as well is a bit expensive.. But keeping that aside it is a good vehicle.
