Great video a lot of help one question, I had to replace the range fork the first one broke the new one lasted 4 days and wore down even with the new pieces. I don't know why it's wearing out so fast. Fluid was good and everything seemed normal any ideas?
Have not had that problem. Maybe a clearance problem or something is keeping pressure on the linkage. Forcing it into the fork. I will run it by some guys I know and see if they have ever had that problem.
Hey boss, my transfer case looks like it's leaking from the half. I didn't rebuild it myself. Have you seen this before. Looks like the guy used rtv to seal it
Pretty rare that it leaks from there. It does take silicone between the halves. Needs to be a good grade, like ultra black. I use Loctite 598.
