So what might in your personal opinion might have caused the scoring to the pump surfaces?
Would it most likely be contaminated oil or other causes?
Just asking as l have no experience, and you most defiantly have.

Contamination and/or low fluid.

If the customer is wanting it checked atleast replace what you can to make it like a knew unit. You can't tell if the teeth are good until you clean it up and inspect them. Have some pride in what you are doing
