The HMMV was not built/designed to be great at any one thing, instead they were built/designed to do everything good. Some of the design features that make it capable are but not limited to how wide the vehicle is, it is built that way too make it more stable on and off road. Then they optimizer the ground clearance by adding portal axles which greatly improved the overall ground clearance and gave more wheel well clearance so they could fit a 38" tire which again helps increase the ground clearance. The other great thing about portal axle is that it lowers the gear ratio which makes it easier to turn the larger wheels and tires and helps reduce stress on the transmission and helps the transmission alot once they add armor to the vehicle (base hmmv weights 5,200lbs and the up-armored hmmv weights (gross) 12,000lbs i loved being a 63B (all wheeled Diesel mechanic) in the military cause i got to drive all the different military vehicles i did it for 8 years.

Humvee roars like a monster and rolls like a gangsta
If you are going to drive in the mud, maybe mud tires would be helpful and sitting there digging a hole in the mud does not help ether. Now in this case maybe hitting it a little faster allowing the momentum to carry you through, or just drive around it. LOL
Só falta bons pneus para essa finalidade. Carro incrível!

😃 Great vehicles ✅
Thank you!
When he saves the money up for some after market off road tires and rims, that beast would climb Mt. Everest.... It just needs a little better tires and it would climb anything.
Esta chido El video.
the key to Hmmwvs is dont go slow. gun it and dont stop until you're through
Holy smokes my dude! 4.7M views? That’s wild!
3:40 what a BEAST!
I know it just blew up lol.
Hummer sounds like a freakin diesel train damn
Hi, from Poland. Awesome video my friend!
Helly and thank you!
That frontier is sexy, what lift and tire size is it running? Nice video guys!
Its a 5" calmini with 305/75/r16 otherwise 33x12.50 i got another video on it talking about what all i have done to it. Thanks for watching.
Mobil humve yang bagus dan kuat...saya dukung kanal ini sukses #dangau tani
You gotta drive through the mud without slowing down. As soon as you slow down you’ll start sinking
Looks like fun. That poor HMMWV needs better tires
My toyota tacoma does very well stock but trd off road. It'll do even better with aftermarket off-road tires n 3 inch suspension life. This is my first foreign truck after having ford's, dodges and Chevies. The driver is biggest factor though.
That Humvee sounds Great .
I am in love with the humvee, too bad it costs R$500k

This is were to get one from then fix it up yourself for a fraction of one already done.
Expensive concrete mixer!!!!LOL What a beast!!!
Lol 🤣🤣
It's all about tyres...
OMG... You just want to get stuck. I hope You'll learn alot :)
Yes yes we did, having fun getting stuck and learning what the rig can and can not do is the best part of it all. 😌
@@JeepTrailsandBarbells Keep on doing! Have fun! :)
Is this a new sport? Looks like mud crawling with sticky non aggressive tires....guess it adds a little challenge lol
🤣🤣 you might be on to us... 🤫
Momenum Son! Love my Nissan Frontier 4 by 4
The Humvee sounds like its knocking
Most likely a leaking exhaust
I like the Humvee
I think the Wrangler driver was trying to get stuck or he is a complete novice...
100% novice it was only his second time ever off road
It also wasn't his jeep, that was my wifes jeep he was worried about breaking it.
@@JeepTrailsandBarbells that's ok
i think that jeep just need proper tires
Он просто приехал пожарить шашлык в лес
That thing is a monster. It weight a ton but it has more power than his weight. That's how a 4x4 should be now you have things that weight a lot and doesn't have anything of torque. Even some older cars even not being 4x4 are better than some of the actuals 4x4 driving for tough roads because they don''t weight nothing and they are simple the engine as much more power than the weight of the car and the tires are pretty slim.
Мощная штуковина, на обычной резине прет как танк )
I like the Frontier
I was surprised to see he made that far with those tires.
My favorite SPORT. AMAZING!
A Nissan Frontier had to save you? Cmon man you’re in a humvee!!
Nissan power !!!!
@@aaronmmannah3058 C’mon, bud, are you kidding? The Nissan didn’t go into that mud hole, it just pulled out the Humvee, and the Humvee accellerated to make it easier. That’s all. “Nissan power” with just 180 hp? lol 😂
@@waltermeono5253 its 265HP but i get what you are saying 🤣
That hmmwv was not stuck. Put it in low and crawl it out. Only was able to get one of these stuck in mud in 22 years and that was because the tank ahead of me got stuck.
The humvee wasn't stuck, it just wanted a mud bath....
🤣🤣 your probably right.
It wanted to be painted Tan again.
Get some super Swamper Boggers for that Hummer that thing will be a super beast
You need to go read the manual on how to drive the humvee in the mud You have to spin the tires fast enough to clean the mud out of the tread you don't know with you have thats not a truck that made me look bad i live in the mountains of Kentucky and I've never been stuck in my humvee remember fast spinning tires = never stuck. And don't forget you have brake lock differential So poor the carbide to it and you'll never look bad again 👍
When in doubt throttle out
Foot + Gravity + Accelerator = Momentum
HUMVEE unstoppable until it's is.. NiSSAN to rescue.
Yeah i loved that little truck lol
No one after he’s just made it twice as deep.
Wow amazing 👍👍
Нива с Уазом уже бы до России по этой дороге доехали)
За водкой сгоняли бы пока другие рыбу жарят🤣
That Hummer is unstoppable? That mud hole did a dam good job of stopping it.
Well true, but i was meaning how deep it was and could still moves instead of just getting stuck in place. The slick clay and steep incline to get out had its own input on it. 🤦♂️🤦♂️🤷♂️
@@JeepTrailsandBarbells Ok I can see that too.
he needs off-road tires
Yes he dose, that clay was just to slick for the tier that he had.
The Hummer comes with off-road tires on it from factory
Or go straight for mudders, since you're driving through mud holes.
I think the dude in the vid is right...it needs some good mudders with sidewall tread.
When the gutless 6.5L doesnt even have the power to spin the tires clean.....you're in for a long day.
PERFECT SO WONDERFUL
This video should be titled "Operator Error"
🤣🤣🤣🤷♂️ would have been a better title for sure
