Yes, it is true I am the owner of this jeep and I got stuck helping out another rig that was also stuck. Luckily his rig got out fairly easy. Mine on the other hand, well I've been stuck a few times in my life BUT nothing like this. Thank goodness Casey was around to help! I've been asked multiple times how hard it was to clean... well it took $30 in quarters to get the big chunks of mud off of the bottom of the jeep. The rest will get professionally detailed Monday to get the rest of it clean! I want to point out that I offered to pay Casey and he refused to take my money. He simply told me to stay safe and enjoy Sand Hollow! I will be ordering some of his swag and definitely leaving him an awesome review for a job well done! I wanted to thank everyone for their words of encouragement and help. This was a challenging rescue and most of the spectators were helpful!
Casey is a good dude. Glad he got it out without damage. That was some heavy clay! We had a friend get stuck at lake powell like this in his side by side.
Adi, I am glad we were able to help you get your Jeep free from the depth of Hell. It was a pleasure meeting you! 30 bucks in quarters...lol Why so cheap?
Thanks for the shout out and the awesome video. "Cheerleader" 😆 It was sure nice to have a few guys I knew I could count on and everyone was safety conscience. It was a good recovery!
We have rescue vehicles like that with simple riggs,A shovel and hand plow are the best tools to create a ramp in all 4 wheels and clear the differentials that acts like a anchor. If you don't have a shovel at the moment use creativity, shoes, mat, air filter, what ever you can pull sand from front or rear
Even shovel not going to do the job. It's totally deep mud. It needs the tractor to remove all mud out then put the long woods down under tires then pull the jeep out over the woods. It's that difficult
Excellent job Casey's!! I have only had to call a tow truck twice in my 64 years to get me out of being stuck. Sure feels good when the tow truck does!
Put the spare wheel vertically behind the jeep and run the tow line over it, so that the back of the jeep gets pulled up. I've seen videos of hillbillies pulling out tree stumps using this method.
Thank you I just subscribed to your Chanel me and my 15 year old son watched your video and you kept it clean. I thank you very much. God bless you. We need more clean TH-cam videos like yours
That sure was a deep stuck jeep! Casey is a cool dude & knows his way around out there! He helped us when our friend’s RZR tipped over out in Leeds! It was during the Jeep Jamboree in January!👍😉
AAA ESTIMATED 75% OF our daily calls is just because of human stupidity and mistakes . Lots of love ❤and respect for all roadside assistants and their lovely families including myself . Watching from SO CAL
The two rig needs a riser with a roller wheel on the back so that the winch can lift the near end of vehicle up, otherwise you're trying to plow through the mud.
I assume everyone involved was trying to make it as hard as possible on themselves as a challenge. Because 10 minutes of clearing out some of the mud from behind the rig right away would have made pulling it up and out a breeze.
If you don't dig half the height of the tire out, it makes it damn near impossible to pull out. The tire will not slide up, but through the mud. Just a pro tip.
I got my 4x4 truck stuck once, I got it good. I was hauling brush to the back of our woods down a little road. I knew it was wet and muddy, so I walked the road back first to judge if it was a good idea or not. Ground seemed pretty solid. It was not, it sank to the axles. Craziest thing I ever seen. It took a few friends to get it out, end up using a come along and a big tree. Now, I never go anywhere without come along and log chain
pulling thru the mud? instead of lifting from the mud? angle of pulling made the jeep into a plow. a aframe on the back of the tracked vehicle 6 feet high with a pulley hanging from the triangle of the aframe would lift the vehicle out, it would be like a crane. sorta like using a tire to change the angle of a stump puller rather than pulling basically straight. lifting is the key, dragging causes extreme pressures on everything. lifting uses 1/4 the energy.
I'm not trying to start trouble but MORR's big wrecker would have been a safer way, TH-cam has a lot of videos where jeeps where recovered with the drivetrain still is the mud.
@@beckylc3526 we can hope, sometimes we spend a lot of money building something ( or having it built) and forget a 10 dollar mod that would make life easier
What?? You didn't call Matts off road recovery? LOL Sand Hollow is a fun place and there are always willing folks to help you out when things get stuck.
No one thought on dig up a ramp through the mud on the rear wheels? I would be a lot easier to get it out, even removing a bit of mud blocking the front wheels
Why does he keep pressing the gas pedal while the tires are not moving, He should have lowered the tires to 15 PSI and tried to gently press the gas pedal while continuing to turn the steering wheel until he got out.
Forward or back... Anything at an extreme angle would have ripped the whole drivetrain right off of that rig. Casey did everything perfect. Suction was the enemy.

@CaseysOffRoadRecovery your a good guy. I hope your business thrives. Btw what vehicle was that you used to pull him out?
Should’ve called Matt
ANy reason they didn't dig out the back tires? I'm late to this party!
Thanks for the shout out and the awesome video. "Cheerleader" 😆 It was sure nice to have a few guys I knew I could count on and everyone was safety conscience. It was a good recovery!
Only had a half dozen drunks telling you how to do your job 😂
It was all in a days work. Lol. "He is doing a pretty good job ignoring them all"
Awesome work Casey thanks for helping this guy out as he wasn't going anywhere fast. Regards from Townsville Australia

Or just pull it out with a few good grunts.
Pretty hard to build a ramp in that type of mud!
Is that a Deuce and a half or a 5 ton. That's incredible.
The real MVP is those front and rear bumper mounts!
A hundred people watching, NONE grab a shovel. 🤦♂️
Yes, this was my first thought. No effort. Driver just chilling.
That shovel wasn't going to do the job
@@zzjeanpierre694 of course not but it would have made the recovery much easier.
I think the Shovel would have helped in the front, but you would have sunk down in mud big time trying to use it -
Even shovel not going to do the job. It's totally deep mud. It needs the tractor to remove all mud out then put the long woods down under tires then pull the jeep out over the woods. It's that difficult
Thanks for sharing this! Love CORR!
It was great to watch
Casey always gets things done safely!!!
In a situation like this. Pulling flat will hardly ever work. You have to LIFT straight up, then move lateral to get out of the hole.
Excellent job Casey's!! I have only had to call a tow truck twice in my 64 years to get me out of being stuck. Sure feels good when the tow truck does!

Dang good job again Casey as always that fellow earned a badge for sure to make you work that hard to get him out!
Hard to get more stuck that that!
Thank you I just subscribed to your Chanel me and my 15 year old son watched your video and you kept it clean. I thank you very much. God bless you.
We need more clean TH-cam videos like yours
🙏 Appreciate that!
Was thinking he should of backed up closer to rear of jeep and used winch to lift more for suction issue, then pulled forward. Either way it worked.
He had to be real careful where he went. Those little clay holes were sporadic
What ever you do , never dig away the mud behind the wheels.
That would be too much to expect! 🤣🤣🤣
Lol, it's amazing how much time, energy and money people will put into becoming lazier.
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 great comment you are thinking like a logical man 😂😂😂😂
That’s the first thing I thought. Should have had a shovel attached to the back.
honest q:
Why not dig away the mud from the wheels?
Jeeper got deeper...cool Jeep. Like the color.

This one had him worried for a minute!
C.O.R.R. sent me! 👍
AAA ESTIMATED 75% OF our daily calls is just because of human stupidity and mistakes . Lots of love ❤and respect for all roadside assistants and their lovely families including myself . Watching from SO CAL
How about scooping some of that mud out from around the back wheels first?
Usa - power !
Max traxx
Spoiler alert?
My first question.
Casey is the man 👍👍👍
I had a 6 cyl Scrambler back in the early 80’s. Best 4 wheeler I ever had. Pulled a stuck Toyota 4x4 off a hill.
Always nice to see hi-lift jacks on stuck vehicles not being used.. lol - looks cool though, so….
You know better. But I think pulling the Jeep vertically to break the suction effect before pulling horizontally would have helped a bit.
Jeep people are hilarious 😂
if you use the spare tire and put it close under the winch line it gives it upward pressure and pulls up
The two rig needs a riser with a roller wheel on the back so that the winch can lift the near end of vehicle up, otherwise you're trying to plow through the mud.
You guys got some wicked toys
I'm glad he got it out without damage, it would have been safer if it could have been lifted some to break the vacuum first.
Cant believe nobody brought out the shovels! Ha!
Haha, good luck!
I assume everyone involved was trying to make it as hard as possible on themselves as a challenge. Because 10 minutes of clearing out some of the mud from behind the rig right away would have made pulling it up and out a breeze.
Casey should build a boom on the back of the nodwell to get some more upward lift.
Should've called Matt. He'd of had that taken care of in no time.
Casey knows his stuff, too! Didn’t take him long
That would have been entertaining.
Shovel away the STOP!
Tons of fancy equipment, but one has a shovel!
If you don't dig half the height of the tire out, it makes it damn near impossible to pull out. The tire will not slide up, but through the mud. Just a pro tip.
"Tried everything"
But digging.
Hard work is not popular.
But it sure as hell is cheaper than whoever they just called.
Awesome! He's very stuck!

A couple of shovels would have been helpful
Japan. That Casey guy needs on that flatbed is an Aframe.
Great job Casey
Ausom work dude !
He got him out faster than most of us expected!
Yikes, that was a really nice Jeep, too! Solid work by the recovery guy!
Ya.. what sucks is I was told that he got stuck trying to get OTHER people out!
I just checked the CA DMV site and the license plate 'STK JEEP' is available...
💀💀
I told Casey before.. he needs a shirt that reads. Do NOT be Noddy Worthy!
😂
I've always wondered why they don't have a small crain I've seen a few of these types of rescues and have always said a small crain would be great
I'm not trying to start trouble but MORR's big wrecker would have been a safer way, TH-cam has a lot of videos where jeeps where recovered with the drivetrain still is the mud.
5:18 You should've dug out the wheels and then pulled so the Jeep comes out easier
Now that's a REAL truck :)
Casey to the rescue!
Made pretty quick work of it for how bad it was!
My 1972 Ford Pinto w/ bald tires drove right by this Jeep
You need a shovel crew my man , atleast you and other.
Sweat that money .
Some thing stuck in tire hole you use a 4x4 wrecker with a boom and pick up one end it would come right out pulling on it just bends everything
It’s annoying, the little man child sat in his jeep making everyone else work for him.
Casey said they asked him to stay put. Something about the jeep having automatic steps.
@@beckylc3526 you can install a bypass switch pretty easily. In fact Amp research sells a factory one
@@jcar1417 maybe he will install that now that he's out of the mud!
@@beckylc3526 we can hope, sometimes we spend a lot of money building something ( or having it built) and forget a 10 dollar mod that would make life easier
What a joke, make that ass hat make him get out and help. He better go back to camp with his tail between his legs.
Amazing jeep beautiful tyres
I'm glad I bought that folding entrenching tool and survival kit at walmart....😂
Roadside assistants needs to be respected like all other emergency service providers . Wishing safety and long life for all
What?? You didn't call Matts off road recovery? LOL
Sand Hollow is a fun place and there are always willing folks to help you out when things get stuck.
That's one time That gen polls would have been handy on the back of your track machine
It’s called a shovel. You’re welcome
I knew someone who drove his brand new Jeep out of the dealer showroom.
Less than an hour later it was stuck just like this next to a river.
That was some crazy nasty quick sand type mud! I am not sure how much a shovel would have helped with that type of mud.
I hate to say it but if you would have listened to the guy saying back up so the leverage point would have worked
probably the hardest case i ever seen so far
It's Noddy time !!!!
Bringin in the big guns
Dig some ruts behind those back wheels on the stuck vehicle and it will go !
Why doesn’t anyone have a shovel?😂
Can you just imagine the amount of suction you need to overcome ???
Nice mud submarine you got there.
😂
Rust is waving 😂😂😂
Should be in a Jeep commercial.
Wow 😬
Yall need a mini!
Wow!!! That was really stuck!
That clay was so thick and heavy!
That’s beyond stuck…that’s buried!
What is he doing out there
Looks like a cardiologists dream that crowd.
😂
Fools drive where angels say “WTF dude?’
No one thought on dig up a ramp through the mud on the rear wheels? I would be a lot easier to get it out, even removing a bit of mud blocking the front wheels
Not the brightest sparks on the block, guess using a spade is to much like excuse lol
eil ?
That would take brains😂😂😂😂
Eventually he’ll realize it
Swamp Donkey! Achieved!
Haha yup!
Matt woulda had em out quick.
How much
Dang he has a winch, use it
Era mejor poner una slinga o cuerda desde el principio que hacer sufrir así al winch
Чем круче внежорожник, тем дальше идти за трактором.
The same colour of my jeep🟠
That’s not super stuck but the step over ! 😅
Some kind of super muddy quick sand ? 😊
Barefoot in that goo but be healthy for skin 😂
Need an fing skycrane
There you go a snatch line.
Why does he keep pressing the gas pedal while the tires are not moving, He should have lowered the tires to 15 PSI and tried to gently press the gas pedal while continuing to turn the steering wheel until he got out.
All they needed was a fork lift on the back of that flat bed to lift up when pulling.
I didn’t know Casey can be a men’s name too, I’m my village we can get that car with one 🐫 camel and donkey.
Me gusta bien hecho
Now that is stuck stuck.
I think he needs to come from the side at an angel since it’t suctioned in.
Forward or back... Anything at an extreme angle would have ripped the whole drivetrain right off of that rig. Casey did everything perfect. Suction was the enemy.
I meant angle obviously.
I would've hooked the big truck to front of the tank thing and used both of them to pull it it would've cane out the first try guarantee
Or the Jeep's bumper would have come out without the Jeep attached. 🤣
