We should go on balancer and Parker concept, we are a small country with a small land area, first thing first we need to get a roof top solar feeding the grid on each house, then we need the battery in the amount of around 2.8gw /5.6gwh in total, to stabilise the grid. Then we need turbines or engines operating on future fuels as ethanol, methanol, ammonia, or hydrogen, then we are meeting our climate targets, but SL is so corrupt so none of this will ever happen in a properly formulated manner.
For small industries and hotels, a unit of electricity is sold at 20 LKR / kWh. A unit of electricity generated by a roof top solar plant is paid at 37 LKR/kWh. Keep in mind that these rooftop solar is generated only at daytime. If we add battaries or so called future energy storages, cost of electricity would be as high as 100 LKR/kWh. Each and every additional unit generated by high cost sources will further increase the average generation cost and ultimately consumers have to pay for it. Thing is, are we ready to pay such a high price for electricity as poor electricity consumers ? Don't we need more stable, low cost base load power source or a mix of sources ?

ලංකාවට,හිරු සහ සුළගින් සැහෙන විදුලිය ලබාගන්න පුළුවන්, රාත්‍රීය ,සුළග ,වැස්ස සමග එය වෙනස් වෙයි. සමහර රටවලට ඉරඑලිය හරියට වැටෙන්නේ උදේ 10විතරපැය5-6විතර. පැනල් එකක් උඩට අගල් 6විතර ප්‍රමාණයක හිම තිබුනට අවුලක් නැහැ එය පරාවර්තනය වෙනවා(මාගේ අද්දැකිම්) සෝල පැනල් හයි කරන්නේ හිම වැටුනත් ක්‍රමනකුලව පහලට වැටෙන විදියට(ඉර එලියට දියවෙලා)වහලයක උතුරු පැත්තට වෙන්න පැනල හයිකරන්නේ නැහැ.4දෙනෙක් ඉන්න ගෙදරකටKW 4.5ඇති.දවල්ට ගෙදර පාවිච්චි කරන කොටසින් ඉතුරැටික Grid 🔌එකට විකුනනවා රෑට විතරක් එළියෙන් 💡ගන්නවා.මාසේ අන්තිමට පොඩි ගානක් හම්බවෙනවා. ලංකාවේ විකුණන වැඩේ හරියට නැහැනේ🥲අවුරුදු 15විතර යනකොට පැනල් වල දාරිතාවය ක්‍රමයෙන් අඩුවෙනවා. සීතල රටවල අවුරුද්දේ History record එක විකුණන සමාගම් වල තියනවා. අවුරුදු 12-15අතර guarantee එකකුත් දෙනවා.
ලංකාවේ පිහිටීම ඉරේ ගමන් පථය අනුව දකුණු පැත්තට සවිකරනවා උනාට උතුරු පැත්තට සවි කරන රටවල් තියෙනවා.

Pumped-storage hydroelectricity ලෝකේ ගොඩක් රටවල් වල ප්‍රායෝගිකව භාවිත වෙනවා. ඇමරිකාවේ මේ විදිහේ විශාල බලාගාරයක් 1973 ඉඳන් ක්‍රියාත්මකයි. ඒගොල්ලෝ කරන්නේ න්‍යෂ්ටික බලයෙන් නිපදවන විදුලිය off peak වෙලාවේදී වතුර මෝටර් කරකවලා කන්දක් උඩ තියෙන කෘතිම හදපු වැවකට වතුර පොම්ප කරනවා. peak time එකේදී ඒ වතුරෙන් ජල විදුලිය නිපදවනවා.
බැටරි වලට වඩා ලාබදායි . කල් පවතිනවා. පරිසර හිතකාමී .
The discussion is quite interesting. As a solution to future energy consumption the followimg could have been included in the discussion, may be next time.
There is an international Initiative to form a world wide grid. Every country will be with connected to this grid with its own contribution. Renewable energy plays the main role and solar will be number one. There will be no energy shortage and no peak or off peak problem, earth's rotation facilitates to overcome that.

Government එක තව අවුරුදු 20-30 solar unit එක ගන්න හදන්නෙ 50$ වලට එත් මේක හොදට අහුවම තෙරෙනවා නේද ඉස්සරහට tecnology දියුනුවත් එක්ක මේක 4-5 $ වගේ වෙනවා කියලා.
