I just wanted to say thank you. Six months ago when you posted your video about being sick and then the following post regarding being diagnosed with lymphoma; it shook me completely. As the first lockdown was announced, I had extreme pain in my back and abdomen, followed on by stiffness in my pelvis. But me being me, I ignored it for another week as school officially closed down. I specifically remember the day I came back from school; I done as you advised and went to see a doctor as I felt so rundown. (I originally put it onto stress as everything was up in the air.) I was 15 at the time and had to go to the clinic with my mum, who as any mother listed all my symptoms and aches and pains across the lower half of my body. I was then referred to a children’s hospital afterwards since my symptoms would not budge, and it was discovered I had testicular cancer. Literally if it wasn’t for your video I’d probably be lying in a bed dying or would’ve been six feet under. If you never encouraged me to pluck up the courage to ask my mum to take me to see a doctor, things would be entirely different. Sitting in a room full of sick children is debilitating, going through several rounds of chemotherapy to keep the cancer at bay. The saddest thing is every time I went in to receive my medications, there was always one less person sat in the room, and more headscarf’s popped up each time. I did have the testicle removed however, and I’ve been cancer free for over 4 months now. My gratitude towards you is immense. I owe my life to you.

My son Sam was diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma at age 21, 2018. He is now 24 and has been in remission for one year and seven months. He is finishing university in Computer Science. He will be working full time in a bank in his field after he finishes school this spring . Stay positive and stay strong. Hodgkins is curable!! My son is looking forward to his future!!

Oh my goodness. I thought I had Covid this week. I have been having day and night sweats everyday since October. I need 2 naps a day, I am short of breath, now swollen lymph nodes., and blood clots of unknown origin.
Me too, and while waiting for the test results, looking up TH-cam videos of people who have had covid, which lead me to Kams videos 😁. Her videoed also put things in perspective- covid is horrific, but cancer is another level altogether....
