Just binge-watched all of your videos (in the last 24 hours) after your diagnosis video was recommended to me. I just looked at my calendar and cannot believe your last treatment will be in 2 days (according to Australia time)! I have never had cancer, however, my best friend in year 9 had leukaemia and I called him every day in my recess to keep him company while he was in isolation in his hospital ward. Been so interesting to see the other side of the picture, so thank you for documenting it! Get excited for that bell ring!! Proud of ya girl

Hi Kam, I’m new here and I have stage 3 colorectal cancer. The part where you said 90% of your people disappeared and I felt that to my core. I feel the same. It’s something really hard to go through alone. I wish people didn’t disappear on us but you get to know who truly is there for YOU. I started watching your videos by pure chance at the start of this year. Your journey was all new to me and your strength was inspirational, always checking in just to see how you were doing! I'm now sat here writing my first comment with round 11 tomorrow! I was diagnosed with Hodgkin Lymphoma in May 2021, funny how the world works! I wish I had discovered your videos when I was having chemo. Everything you say is so true, you hit the nail on the head. The last rounds are the toughest but you’re almost there! Honestly, you will be amazed at how quickly your body can bounce back from chemo, little improvements day by day. Happy Kam will be back very soon and here to stay. Everything you said about the lonely feeling. I had Lymphoma and those last couple chemo’s are the hardest. The finish line is in sight!! Hang in there and know there are so many of us who completely understand how tough the entire process is🌸

You are so right about how lonely cancer is. Neulasta is a good thing but it makes you feel bad. I was fortunate to have my daughters close by and amazing throughout my whole ordeal, but many friends were not there. Hope you can be with your family soon. Take care 💕
Others may have faded from your life but you gained us! Thank you for sharing with us. I do know what you mean when you say that cancer is kinda lonely. It's a hard upward battle but i know there is tranquility on the other side. Stay up girly and when you're feeling down remember laughter is the best medicine so chemo better watch out aha

Feeling this so much right now. I'm on number 11, hopefully on the 16th I'll be on my very last one! Hoping for the best but expecting the worst haha. Thank you for being someone that can be so raw and real about your Cancer. You are 100% right about feeling alone, even with the world being there for you. I have been chronically ill for 8 years (I'm 20 now) and I totally know what it's like to lose people you thought would be there for you during the hardest times of your life. I lost my 2 childhood best friends during the process. I got support from them in the beginning but one day we just stopped talking. They told me to get over it and never took the time to put themselves in my shoes to understand what I was going through. I just want to give you some advice, take it or leave it but I just want to help :) first off, do not blame yourself. It's easy to feel like you did something wrong but you didn't. You didn't ask or expect to get sick. You just gotta roll with what life brings at you. People come and go and it's a good thing that they're out of your life because nobody wants to waste their time with fake friends. Second, find a support group if you can!! Those people understand everything you're going through and you can connect over that so it doesn't feel so lonely. Third, you're gonna have shitty days and that's just life. It makes you appreciate your good days even more 💜 Last, but not least, take it one day at a time. If that's too much then take it one moment at a time. Life gets overwhelming and if the most you did in a day was make it through then good on ya! Praise yourself for the little goals like brushing your teeth or eating a healthy meal. Positive thinking makes a world of a difference 💜

Thank you for making such an honest video. I really admire how you're dealing with your cancer journey and want to say how well I think you're doing (I wouldn't be exercising or using my time between chemo so well) - you are very inspiring. And it was kind of you to be honest about how some friends have stopped checking in so others in the same boat know it's normal, or that it happens a lot should I say. Agree that it doesn't mean they don't care, more likely that they're unsure what to say or how to help. Cancer in times of covid and at a point of life where friends start careers, move away etc must be so challenging. Sending lots of good thoughts of health and happiness your way, I'll be keeping everything crossed for a good pet scan result. Hope you have a better day today.

OMG, Kam, you can be so proud of yourself!!!! 11 rounds of chemo and you made it through all the ups and downs!!! You're an amazing person, so honest, empathetic and open minded! But I'm also so sorry for you losing "friends" during your cancer journey; it's always the same psychological fact...people try to avoid dealing with disease, hospital, cancer, it would show them their vulnerability, the feeling that they can get it at any time, they often only live for their studies, career, jobs, money and suddenly they should notice that there's something far more important in life named health!!!!! That it's so important not to work "until the bitter end" but to enjoy every little moment, every meal and coffee (like you do), every sunset, even the smallest daily things in life...!!! And you know it, Kam...on the way up you've got friends over and over, on the way down only a few (but these are the best) left!!! STAY STRONG, KAM!!! U R THE BEST!!! And thank you so much for always being you!!!!

I think of you often Kam. Being vulnerable is “A-okay”! Your going through a big thing and life can sometimes suck. My dad also has cancer and he had his pet scan last week. Luckily things are currently looking good for him. Your doing great and things will work it’s way out 💜

Kudos to you for putting your story out there. Love it when people do this. Kinda makes cancer maybe a little less scary. I noticed the nail polish in your videos. Being a cancer (so far) survivor, I have turned to natural everything. I even started a natural soap business, turning skin care. I just wanted to reach out and let you know that maybe none, some of, if not all of what we put on our bodies often times absorbs into our bloodstream. Just food for thought. Not sure if you had considered this.
Girl. Yes!! You hit the nail on the head-it is the loneliest thing to go through, even w a large support system. And Covid is killing me! Not being able to have my husband with me for much of this, and my journey is just beginning….😭❤️

I think you're adorable. Cancer is a super lonely spot. These emotions suck and when you combine them with steroids, it's hard to tell where north is. Everything feels so big. It is so big and the steroids they give us just make it extra, extra. Yikes. I feel ya girl. When I'm like this, I could just swim in the tears but be so strong too. It's lonely and confusing. And you have your whole life ahead of you. ❤

We lost my 3 year old to an unknown lung disorder very abruptly 2 months ago. I don't know how I stumbled upon your video but praying for you.
