thank you, I found this really helpful. I was getting errors when trying to put in the stream key and my OBS did crash so it's a bit finicky. hopefully no issues when attempting to actually stream!
I got it all set up and hit record but I'm only getting horizontal recordings from my usual setup. Any tips on how to record the vertical side? (yes I'm clicking record vertical)
Is it possible to stream and record vertically and horizonatally with Aitum while using OBS Teleport? I'm using a dual pc setup and I'm trying to record vertical videos using Aitum while using OBS Teleport but I can't seem to figure out how to do so. And if it's possible please let me know on how to do so
I did all the steps everytime i click stream it say “there is no enabled server found make sure you have a output enabled in vertical streaming setting” its enabled already im lost
Not that I know of, but I have been following them on Twitter and they have updated the plugin A LOT since I made this video. It may be possible now, but I don't believe it was in the version I was using.
hey i have a question ! my obs studio is stuck where my program and preview are on top of each other, i wanted it side by side. Any idea where to change that setting ?
Hi, nice video thanks for help. Just one question, when i add my sounds alerts to both vertical and horizontal i have issues with sound overlapping. How to fix that?
Be careful, this plugin messed my audio pan (on the wide canvas too). It was partly shifted to the right no matter what. The problem disappeared when uninstalled (OBS 30, Macbook)
Aitum Vertical crashes every single time I open it as a dock. The vertical scenes and sources open fine, just the main vertical window crashes as soon as I touch it with the mouse, sometimes BEFORE I do. I've restarted PC, used completely default profile and scene settings(empty scene/no scene). Removed plugin manually and reinstalled twice. No one else seems to be having this problem. Problem is only on my streaming PC, installed it on my gaming PC OBS and it runs fine. I'm wondering if it might be conflicting with Advanced Scene Switcher or NDI or Source Copy. Completely uninstalled and reinstalled OBS too(although didn't delete settings, scenes, etc).
how do u stream to tiktok tho without using tiktok live studio? cause I dont have a stream ket for tiktok live so thats why i feel like I have to use tiktok live studio
Vertical is a great concept badly executed. When it works it is great, but it is a resource hog and causes instability in OBS. On the 3rd PC (dedicated streaming PC) I tried to use it on, it is freezing OBS and killing windows Explorer. I received a hot fix version that fixed an issue of OBS freezing when closing it down, but his seems even more unstable. Not to mention that on a dedicated streaming PC I dropped from 60fps to 15 while running Vertical.
Hey, I'm having a lot of trouble figuring out how to add scenes and solutions in the vertical space; whenever I'm trying to add something to the vertical camera or gameplay, the vertical box stays white and grey. Can you or someone please help? I really need it. Thanks
Hello hello I have a question. How do I choose the audio that I want to record in Vertical, to make clips, for example that only the game and my voice are heard but the background music is not heard?
can I combine sources with atum in the vertical view. cant do that on the free vertical plugin they added. I want to blur a soucre but not all places it is. unless there is another way to do that(blur or what ever, and filter so it doesnt effect the main source) maybe Im not knowing obs enough in the first place.
NEED HELP. When I download & setup intergration to obs it does not show Vertical Sources & Vertical Scenes boxes at all. I've Closed OBS and Reinstalled Aitum several times. Under "tools" Web Socket Section it shows its connected
I'm assuming that the vertical side grabs the audio sources from the horizontal side? So there's no need to add audio sources like mic, capture card device, desktop audio, etc?
@@spartanFox_LadyFoxGames it comes from the horizontal side so when your horizontal isn't on an audio scene it wont pass over to the vertical recording
The easiest way to accomplish this is by using Docks. Click on Docks and select "Custom Browser Docks". Give your dock a name and enter the URL to your stream or a direct link to your chat depending on your platform. You can also use this to sign into things like Twitch/TH-cam Dashboard to view the management side of your stream as well. You can keep the dock floating in it's own window or dock it into OBS directly.
Highly stupid question, have you been able to play music on your stream via the VOD tracks without the music appearing in your recording? I foolishly streamed for hours with music going thinking the recording was safe from the music similar to the vod track the same way normal recordings are. EDIT; I am immensely stupid, my recording audio was set to the same audio track as the music.
Yes. The impact isn't much on my computer, and for most mid-range to high end computers you probably won't see much of a difference in performance recording both at the same time.
I don't believe so. From what I understand Streamlabs while based on OBS source code is setup quite a bit differently which makes most if not all OBS plugins unusable. I tried for about 30 minutes and unfortunately, I couldn't get it to work.
I don't see the option to save multiple clips using backtrack. Everytime I use the function, it just overwrites the previous clip, unlike the OBS recording options. Any ideas?
I'm not able to replicate that problem using the backtrack function. I'd suggest going into the default OBS recording settings and set a variable for the month/day/hour/second etc. The settings while separate do seem to be tied to the default settings. I did run into a problem of the vertical recordings crashing OBS if you don't have an output location set for horizontal recordings.
Goated, saw other TH-camrs talk about this app but this is the most clear and informative video! Thanks man

When streaming does it use the same bandwidth as the main stream or do I need to put its own bitrate?

quick question i’ve been using this for awhile now & love it. is there a setting to choose what encoder you want to use???

Good video dude! 👍🏾

Can you do that just for TH-cam instead of TikTok and twitch ?
Hi, nice video thanks for help. Just one question, when i add my sounds alerts to both vertical and horizontal i have issues with sound overlapping. How to fix that?
hello, i need help trying to pull up vertical window back up. I exited out of it by accident and now it wont pop back up
How do i find vertical suorces and scenes when i remove dem. I can only se my prewiew but not the vertical sources and scenes? Does anyone know?
I keep getting stream output error, which is odd cause i can stream from obs but not vertical
Can you give a tutorial on how to create a compatibility mode for streaming on tiktok using this plugin?

How to start Horizontal and Vertical recording at the same time?
Camera only works on vertical or horizontal, not both . Whichever one I fix the camera for , the other screen completely pauses the camera.
Can't get it to work for TikTok live stream.
how do u stream to tiktok tho without using tiktok live studio? cause I dont have a stream ket for tiktok live so thats why i feel like I have to use tiktok live studio
does it copy all audio over, or do you need to add it in to it as well?
installed it but think the video misses the installation part because aitum opens and i have no idea what to do

Ive just had the same experience. Good idea, poor execution.

我的OBS已经安装了垂直插件,但是打开了OBS之后没有看到它,是从哪里打开它?
You earned a like because of the "link scenes" tip.
Thanks
Audio??? I cant get my Mic to record
I can’t get my game audio on tiktok studio

Thanks for this!

i can't intsall it it says you can't even i am changing other destination folder

@@WebDevRef me too smh
Updating obs fixed it for me!
I keep running into the problem where it says incorrect server on TikTok when I add it to the URL and stream key. Anyone else come across this?

how do i pop it back in
I’m having trouble with the sound will it capture the sound on obs once you start a virtual camera to TikTok studio?
I can’t figure it out either. Did you?
but how do you read the two separate chats?

It just might be...
are you dumb?

Hey it happens! I once recorded an entire live event to later notice that the microphone was not mapped into any of the 6 audio channels in OBS...
thanks
I can’t I’m using a green screen
Hi! Thank you for your video!! Is there a way to see comments while streaming on OBS?
Copy the comments url and pasted that url into a custom browser dock.
Can i hide the preview with vertical pluging?
Yes you can. You should be able to pop it out and just close it.
This doesn’t work

How can you disable audio from Vertical Scenes but still have it enabled in regurlar Scenes.

Is there something like this for streamlabs aswell?
I don’t believe so. Since Streamlabs doesn’t support OBS plugins it will most likely need to be developed by the streamlabs team.
does this work for Streamlabs too or not?
I don't believe so. From what I understand Streamlabs while based on OBS source code is setup quite a bit differently which makes most if not all OBS plugins unusable. I tried for about 30 minutes and unfortunately, I couldn't get it to work.
somehow i removed my vertical scenes window, does anyone know how I get that back? I would really appreciate it.
Go to dock icon on the upper left and scroll down and click the vertical option there... Thank me later 😂
I found a couple days ago..thx though😂
So I can record both formats at the same time?
You sure can!
