Hey, does it interfere with the Aitum vertical plugin? I use that to restream to TH-cam but in 1080 res. I like that i can separate alerts to different platforms with that but just in case i want to change it up, would the other plugin cause a conflict and/or more OBS dock clutter.
what if the main encoder I use is my graphics card? How do I get it the piggy back of those instead of having each output separately use the graphics card @nutty
OK NUTTY, this is one of the funniest coincidences I have ever come across in my life... You know that part at 0:50 when you're talking about how twitch wont care about you using music but youtube does and all that? This is actually insane hahahaha, but I'm 99.99% you are using my lofi cover of "Dire Dire Docks" from mario 64 as the background music while you're talking about it 😂I appreciate you using my music bro, but feel free to turn it up louder! All of my music is DMCA, so none of it will give you copyright strikes 🥰 (that being said, if the original composer came along and found it, they technically would have the right to ask you to take it down, but that's a super rare case). So glad you or your editor is a fan of my video game lofi, I love you're videos and will start streaming soon thanks to you, love you nutty!!!
Very awesome, and very cool of them to make it free. This is how a software company should work. Bring people in for free with tools that the majority of us need and maintain business profits with tools for advanced users that need the extra tools for their production. Thanks, Aitum! And thanks Nutty for sharing!
As usual, amazing clarity in your explanation, plus all the relevant details. I was using the multi-rtmp plugin but it was messing up my panels-width and layout everytime I closed/restarted OBS so I was looking for a new plugin to do the same, and this one certainly is much more user friendly (the UI makes it easier to identify where I am streaming to). Nutty you are the best and you know it. Thank you so much. 👍
@nuttylmao nbn do be like that :,)) Btw how's Superloop going for you? Like ping-wise, speed & reliability as well. I'm currently with More (commbank offer do be like that) & has been aight, ping & latency could be better however :,)
Splitting audio from Twitch? (Twitch set to main) TH-cam set at Aitum, video setting Main Encoder & Audio Settings - ( Don't have Main Encoder Option ) There's only FFmpeg AAC and FFmpeg Opus, tried streaming with music and music on youtube still flowing thru. When on the good old multi rtmp plugin no issues. Confused about the Application Audio Capture (Beta) in what way does it help? To split the audio? When it duplicates the channel. I guess you don't need to use the feature if you already have the audio split already? So using the Advanced Audio Properties selecting the correct VOD# in my case its 6 with a tick box in main output settings for streaming and inside the Audio Setting is Aitum (ME SILLY FORGOT TO RESTART PC AFTER INSTALL, EVERYTHING IS WORKING)
I think I may have missed one detail. For vertical streams with this plugin, does it piggyback off the main horizontal stream or does vertical use its own resources?
Great video, dude. Question - Why would you need to create a new Vert Stream for YT? I do the same thing with all my YT streams and re-use the previous settings, and I'm good to go.
I was using a different multi-stream plugin that doesn't seem to get updated anymore but still works, so I made the switch over preemptively because I feel this new plugin will get better support, however this other plugin had the option via tickbox to make the additional outputs also go live at the same time which is a nice QoL. Having the option for VoD audio for twitch on the multiple platform plugin would be the main thing I'd want to see so I don't have to manually capture my youtube chat and let OBS handle that natively.
So one thing I didn't see covered here is that there is no setting to auto start/stop secondary stream with the main stream. Do you know if that's possible?
quick question, for me my music is finally separate with the audio capture beta thing but it is still coming out of "desktop audio" so still shows in the VODs? Anyway to fix this? Mostly since I found out how crappy youtube is with copyright music lol
I would love if along with the going live for each platform, there would be another button that would allow to change the title/game in each respective platform.
Not sure if its been stated in the comments, but Twitch ToS used to, and may still, not allow you to send a higher quality stream simulcasted elsewhere. Meaning if you stream to Twitch in 720p, by following ToS (who does that anyway?) you can only stream at MAX 720p to TH-cam.
knowing options is great. This won’t work for me since my connection seems spotty for some reason, but this is definitely awesome. 🎉 especially splitting up sending out the audio.

Hi bro! For some reason when i start the stream on youtube and the try to piggy the to twitch - in starts without an error, but i dont see any stream on twitch :D Also how can i add a twitch dock to the same profile as youtube profile, so i can edit my twitch stream details?
How do you disable Spotify from playing in your desktop audio? I added a Spotify Application Audio Capture but now it plays on that capture and in my desktop audio track.
Quick question- has anyone else noticed that CSS for TH-cam chat is suddenly not working? Was gonna get the plug-in but before I could I realized my chats for TH-cam are all broken suddenly. After putting in the chat url in obs browser source it does not change it based on the CSS. This plugin looks awesome!
Does it allow to send different video outputs to different platforms? Like using different overlays on Youtuvbe vs what is Outputed on Twitch? If not, Is there a plug-in for that?
Thanks bro starting my Journey this helped a lot for me bing a stoner lol an catching on a lil slow I know yu got a lot of watch time from me on this one an another one lol got lost still lost but I kinda got it thanks again
4:59 Is there a good reason to not use the "NVIDIA NVENC HEVC" option here? It's a better codec with higher quality at lower bit rates, and TH-cam supports it unlike Twitch currently. I'm seeing conflicting info on whether TH-cam supports HEVC over RTMP, in which case you'd sacrifice some latency for quality, but aside from that possible difference are there any reasons to not use HEVC?
any bonus on using this instead of sorayuki multirtmp plug in? Aitum vertical already let u stream on vertical so if I need only youtube and twitch is this one giving me any advantage?
You helped me out a lot thank you! I just wanted to ask about the whole music part? if i use Copyright Free music? does youtube also come after you? or is that fine??
Thank you for the alternate option and I love your videos, I followed the instructions you gave to the the T for Aitum and it works at random and when it does its only for a short period of time then it shuts one fo the streams if not all of them except for the twitch. My main platform is Twitch but I have been considering doing vertical for YT. If I download this plug-in, will I need to also download the vertical plug-in? Thanks for the vid.
@nutty, Than you for this. One thing I am witnessing on my multi stream, is my youtube stream comes out blurry. Now, from my testing, what I believe is the issue, is I play games natively at 1440p, with Twitch being my primary, and having to re-size my output to 1080p. In my Atium settings for TH-cam, I tried setting a separate encoder, with re-sizing to native 1440p, but I'm thinking it's taking the resize output from my primary stream and resizing that back to 1440p. So down size 1440p to 1080p back to 1440p, which is creating a blur effect that I can't seem to correct. Any thoughts on this? My internet connection is 1.5 Gigs, so there is no issues there, and I haven't had any dropped frames. I'm also using a software solution this time around vs a capture card, but I haven't had issues with this before as it comes crystal clear to twitch. I'm using the Sunshine & Moonlight approach. My home network has 2.5 gig ethernet connections, and I don't have a CPU / GPU bottleneck. Not to mention I use a 10 gig Ethernet connection to my router which has a 10gig connection before going out via fiber optics. Anyway, just wanted your thoughts as I could be doing something wrong, and not knowing it.
Since your internet is good, I'd say just stream at 1440p on youtube. I stream 1080p on twitch, 4k on TH-cam, and record at a much higher bitrate with no issues on 1gb internet with this plug in. You also might want to try using youtube as your main platform, I had to do that because youtube just straight up wasn't working when it was my secondary platform, but it works just fine as my main platform. Just something that I had to do, good luck and hope you figure it out
I got the exact same problem. Starting multistreaming not too long time ago and I got the twitch settings nailed for some years now. The issue is YT, since I want to stream on 1440p but cannot get that quality figured out. Some of my viewers complain about the stream being blurry and even with some small buffers. Did you find a solution yet?
@@iRedseven what is your PC and what encoders are you using for each? I am using a different encoder for each one, and it took some testing to figure out which works best for me
@ I got two PC's one for streaming the other one for gaming. Important here is the streaming one I guess, since it has the elgato card in it. That one has a 1070 super inside. So I use nvenc for both yt and twitch.
What is your gaming PC specs? If you have an rtx 4000 or rx 7000, I'd recommend using that instead of a second PC. I'd also recommend using a cpu encoder for recording if you ever decide to record while streaming. I have a 7800x3d and 4090, I use nvenc h.264 for 1080p60 6000 bitrate on twitch, nvenc AV1 for 4k60 25000 bitrate on youtube, and AMD h.265 for 4k60 80000 bitrate recording. It took a lot of testing to figure it out, but that works best me right now. If they say your stream is blurry, it's probably that your bitrate isn't high enough. Let me know if you need help, because I don't mind, this stuff can be a headache
I have 2 questions: 1. Ok we have multi stream now where is a simple multi chat solution that offer all the streaming platforms aitum offers? 2. How you change the title of each stream using this plugin? (I hope is not by going to each streaming service and changing the stream title manually, no one streams a game without a title 🤔🤷♂️)
i dont get why i cant get both sceansa to work like one for each ... having hard time getting to show only one for horizontal n for vertical how do i make 2 different scens?
when i go live on youtube it works initally but if i go offline then back it doesnt work unless i get a new stream key im using the vertical plugin for this
They're basically the same thing. This has a simpler UI, supports vertical multistreaming and will eventually support things the Sorayuki plugin doesn't support (e.g. native Twitch VOD track, integration with enhanced broadcast etc.) One advantage of the Sorayuki plugin is you can stream different scenes to different platforms.
@@flyc0de389 that what I was thinking! Aitium Vertical and Aitum Multistream are two different things? One allows you to have a customizable canvas and the other doesn't.
Hey Nutty! Hi chat! Thanks for the video. I've set up my main source within the settings to be twitch, but in the Aitum plugin the built in stream icon didn't turn to the twitch icon, it remained the same as the default one. Should I be worried?
Really dumb question here: when I'm multstreaming on YT, how do I get the separate links for each stream (horizontal and vertical)? cause when I hit go live I can only see one stream happening on my channel
Aitum just changed the game with this. The BEST work around for TikTok's stream key gatekeeping! SIDENOTE: CAN Google, in fact, teach me how to Dougie?
@@MrGamelover23 Unfortunately you will still have to use the Tik Tok Live Studio, but using this multi-stream with vertical, giving you the option for the OBS Virtual Vertical camera, simplifies the process tremendously. (These days if you dont have 500k followers or more, tiktok isnt gonna give you a key. They want us to use their Live Studio, quite frankly, it sucks. ) This just streamlines the entire process.
Nutty, regarding the "need to create new YT key every time": is that only if i want to stream vert/hor simultaneously? In other words: If i'd *only stream horizontal* i never have to go to the YT Studio page again?
Thanks for a good breakdonw on how to use the new plugin but I have a question, when I press on vertical canvas I cant press on Add Output, its greyed out and I cant add my YT short output.. Any idea why?
Now is there a way to do all this, but then also recording your gameplay and facecam split? I currently have my OBS in a 2560x2880 resolution so I can record my gameplay and facecam separate at 1440p for editing purposes. Is there a way to do this and ALSO multi stream using Aitum?
Hey Nutty, I was wondering if I could just use Restream only for titling. Then, rather than changing title information on each platform one by one, I could have restream piggy back just the title and description all at once... would that work?
I'm looking to make the jump from restream to Aitum because my yearly subscription expired and they're now putting time restrictions on my streams even if i do pay :/
Hey Nutty! I have a question . I tried the TH-cam Vertical and Horizontal along with streaming on Twitch and I am having issues. I did all of the steps for the TH-cam side including doing a manage stream for vertical. When I go live on Twitch and TH-cam Horizontal (same encoder) everything is fine but when I try to go live on TH-cam Vertical, an error shows on my TH-cam Studio saying that the stream cannot be found even though I have different stream keys and settings. Do you know what the problem could be? I tried separating TH-cam Horizontal from Twitch but it takes up so much bandwidth that I drop frames drastically.
Hey nutty, love the vids and I may actually use this plugin but I have one main gripe with streaming on TH-cam. The quality is much better and I would prefer to use it just to make videos from it after, but there doesn't seem to be any easy way of making stream markers that I can reference after. I was wondering if there is a plugin that would help me with that issue
It's probably easier to just record your stream as your streaming. You can use the same encode, so it isn't anymore taxing on your resources than just streaming alone. With that, you can then use the new chapter marker feature it OBS to make your markers.
What's the best chat compilation extension? I know some services say you can't put chat on screen when they're combined, but if we're not doing that, what's the best option?
so when you say it piggybacks off the main stream, is it kind of like a multistreaming service like restream, casterlabs, aircast, etc where it takes a set 4000 and copies it to all other platforms? Or is it like the multistream plug in where you put 4000 kb to one platform, another 4000 here, anotehr 4000 there, etc
I had to come back to this after installing this plugin. It KILLED my streams. I'm talking, I was getting 100k dropped frames in 40 minutes. I was basically playing a stop motion game, running my stream and when I tried to check it, it was well over 5 minutes behind. I'm sure some people might get good use out of this plugin but for me, it was an abyssmal experience that was only fixed by uninstalling it.
so if i want to stream to twitch, youtube and kick. how many gbps do you reccomend i have upload for my internet? i have 20gbps. is that enough before i do this and find out the hard way? i ididn't know i had to change the advance settings in aitum for streaming to youtube and i been droppin like 10k frames a session. so thank you for this video and i hope i did it right lol
Nutty I need your help, I set up tiktok output on aitum multistream. When I started the stream it, the timer doesn't go up it stays at 0 or 1 second and than goes back to 0. Please help.
A hint (or a request for help): I've tried to use the plugin for a multistream on twitch and youtube while using the main encoder for youtube (aka piggiback it). I use enhanced broadcast, which for some reason seems not to work with the plugin. It did not recognize my running encoder and gave me the error nutty is showing about the piggiback topic. Seems that this is not in (yet).
I take it back, it wasn't because of the video encoder, but only on the audio encoder. Making it an own encoding did the trick (or using index 1 or 2).
Some other video was saying that it’s going to tax my hardware performance but I don’t believe that, like you said in the video it should only be ran by my internet right? Because the other video did confuse me
ok, this works, but you dont get to put a title to youtube, description, etc. bassicaly it just starts a stream with no settings on youtube... am I missing something?

It took a lot of testing to figure it out, but that works best me right now. If they say your stream is blurry, it's probably that your bitrate isn't high enough. Let me know if you need help, because I don't mind, this stuff can be a headache
Your always my Superhero dude in OBS 💪🔥 Napakalas.
weird. I set it up according to your video, I think at least.
But somehow, I only got the vertical stream on YT.. the regular one wasn't put out.
Does casterlabs work for combining multi chats even for both vertical and regular youtube?
Social Stream plugin
I have 2 questions:
I did the audio vod audio track step and it did not work, when I ended stream few minutes after I got a copy right email from TH-cam
i dont get why i cant get both sceansa to work like one for each ... having hard time getting to show only one for horizontal n for vertical how do i make 2 different scens?
How about monitoring the chats? I noticed that wasn't covered [or it was and i missed it sorry]
Would I need to have each separate chat pulled up?
Social Stream plugin
or casterlabs
when i go live on youtube it works initally but if i go offline then back it doesnt work unless i get a new stream key im using the vertical plugin for this
super helpful video! im glad I found your channel.
Can you explain the difference, pros v cons maybe, of this plugin vs RTMP Multistream Plugin thats been around for a while?
They're basically the same thing. This has a simpler UI, supports vertical multistreaming and will eventually support things the Sorayuki plugin doesn't support (e.g. native Twitch VOD track, integration with enhanced broadcast etc.)
One advantage of the Sorayuki plugin is you can stream different scenes to different platforms.
@@nuttylmao Technically you also can with Aitum, even you can set a horizontal canvas within vertical LOL
How do we see chat?
Really dumb question here: when I'm multstreaming on YT, how do I get the separate links for each stream (horizontal and vertical)? cause when I hit go live I can only see one stream happening on my channel
my main canvas is just stuck on built in steam, any ideas? like it wont change to twitch
Aitum just changed the game with this. The BEST work around for TikTok's stream key gatekeeping! SIDENOTE: CAN Google, in fact, teach me how to Dougie?
How does this work around it if you don't already have the key?
Correct, other than updating your stream title that is.
@@nuttylmao thank you. that's amazing. guess i will conquer YT streaming this fall then :)
Not sure if this been answered but will all platform chats be integrated?
Ok so i DO need the broadband for every service then? so if im streaming to Twitch at 6KBPS, and i do youtube at 6KBPS, then i need 12 KBPS total?
But how do i see all the chats if i multistream? you missed that part in the video ..
I'm confused does Aitium have chat docks to see all the chats ??
Do you know why when I add my Twitch account, it doesn't update my Built-in stream to show Twitch there?
is this better than that Japanese multistream plugin everyone recommends?
So would I have to set up stream info on all platforms or do piggy back from the primary source?
Oh damn. That’s really useful to know. Thanks 1:48
so when you say it piggybacks off the main stream, is it kind of like a multistreaming service like restream, casterlabs, aircast, etc where it takes a set 4000 and copies it to all other platforms? Or is it like the multistream plug in where you put 4000 kb to one platform, another 4000 here, anotehr 4000 there, etc
Best settings for YT using AV1 in 4K? I keep getting errors. 8gig internet up/down. Let me know maybe im missing something.
Holy Molly. Same. Had to delete 😢my VOD. It was uneditable 😢😢
@alisonxra yeah idk what it is about this plugin, maybe it's our graphics card or Internet plan but Restream works just fine for 2 streams for free
so if i want to stream to twitch, youtube and kick. how many gbps do you reccomend i have upload for my internet? i have 20gbps. is that enough before i do this and find out the hard way? i ididn't know i had to change the advance settings in aitum for streaming to youtube and i been droppin like 10k frames a session. so thank you for this video and i hope i did it right lol
Nutty I need your help, I set up tiktok output on aitum multistream. When I started the stream it, the timer doesn't go up it stays at 0 or 1 second and than goes back to 0. Please help.
Should I use Aitum or Streamlabs Ultra?
Because the other video did confuse me
Oke, great move! BUT, how do you combine chats of the multistreams?
How do i use multi chat
ok, this works, but you dont get to put a title to youtube, description, etc. bassicaly it just starts a stream with no settings on youtube... am I missing something?
Dude, when i restreem i get an error in obs logs and the stream drops. Do you know what to do with that? Sorry for my English.
