hey @senpai gaming my buddy downloaded the vertical and it isn't showing up everything is up to date it isn't just showing up
I've been captivated by concept of automatically mixing the webcam area and mid portion of the screen, shown in the video, than having separate preview.

THIS OPENS UP SO MANY POSSIBLITIES!!! Imagine recording moments of your game and camera both at Full resolution! Instead of two different OBS instances we could just use this feature to have a portion recording while the other is streaming. BRILLIANT!

As someone who works on D&D podcast, I think it would be really cool if we could set up multiple Vertical scenes to record (a la a multi-cam) for different Scenes. So if we were capturing a group role play session it would record all five cameras + each actor seperately. That's the biggest hold back for us developing vertical content, is the time it takes to edit those moments.
Audio monitoring might be the way to go here. I feel like there is a plug-in that can activate a source when it hears specific audio coming from it. Don’t quote me on that, but I’m pretty sure it exists

Everyone could record their own cams in addition to someone recording the group. Match up the timelines and switch tracks as needed.
@@tjb0607 I’ll have to look into if it can also work with this plugin. I’m seeing I cannot make a custom stinger transition or other transition out of the box so we will have to experiment a bit with it. Right now, for mine, I’m planning on mini cams up top 1/3 with battle mat near middle 1/3 with a background covering bottom third where video descriptions typically end up for TikTok and reels. Good substitute for now until I find a better way. Will let y’all know

This is huge! I stream on Facebook horizontally and was trying to use NDI on a different computer to stream vertically simultaneously to Instagram but always had audio sync issues. This makes it soo much easier!! Thank you Harris and Aitum team for this amazing tool.
this is freaking amazing!!! i love how it works and love how much more time i have to make content without editing on my own! one thing i would add though, be able to take the clip when you are just using the replay buffer. sometimes i dont record (bad on me) but i have limited storage. anywho, great job! this is insane!!!

this is insane, as someone who has a newborn and not a lot of free time this makes things so much easier. I contemplated streaming again for the simple fact that I knew shorts and tiktoks were now essential to your growth and I knew I didn't have the time for it, Now what you guys have done has given me an awakening so to speak. This is amazing for simple clips and someone that doesn’t have alot of ability or knowledge to edit their videos! Though for myself, idk what I was looking to find in this video but I was disappointed all the way up to the last point… the streaming from all in one software!!!!! That is MASSIVE! It makes things SO much easier! You should of lead with that! 🤣
just using it as a base for the clips is also fine, is there anything you are missing nextto adding text over it for your clips? also how does your channel have less views than it has subs
@@kiritofanboy Yeah, I add effects in all of my edits. Regular TikTok clip videos don't get noticed by people or the algorithm anymore.

Genuinely one of the biggest game changers to come to the streaming/content world in a LONG time.The absolute GOAT for making this real.
One feature I would love to be added though is seperate audio tracks for backtrack recording, similar to how OBS' "VOD Tracks" works - so you can clip things from stream but not any copyrighted music you might be playing on stream at that time :)
you can do this... i think. just remove all your audio sources in settings and then just add them manually as a normal audio input/output source then you can pick and choose what you want to hear. (i have not tried it yet, i have only set it up but i think it will work :p)

This is exactly what I've been looking for! I did my first video a few months back and wanted to edit some clips for tiktok but realised it was super tricky to edit into a vertical aspect ratio cos of the way I set up my scenes. I literally was wondering "man it'd be nice to have a way in OBS to records both landscape and vertical at the same time" so I don't have to waste time editing in vertical format. This is gonna be so helpful!
Between learning basic color correction and now this being an implementation into OBS, centralizing my whole workflow has basically been finished. Like, this is genuinely insane. Harris, you and the people at Aitum,are insane. You're beautiful.

My suggestion for an update and something I think a lot of creators would really like is the ability to easily take a section out of the game and over lay on top of the gameplay without having to add the source twice. For example I like to have my Apex health/shield bar overlaying my gameplay at the bottom in vertical or some games I like to also show the map or something like that so it would be nice to have the ability to do that without having to add the game source again and crop it. Unless that's possible and I missed it?

Absolutely loving this new plugin! It's absolutely amazing. I've set it up pretty well with all my scenes and whatnot. there has been one thing about it that I thought was worth the comment. I may be wrong, but it only saves the backtrack clip as an MKV file, which you can't upload onto tiktok. Easy enough to fix, just gotta change it to an mp4 or WebM file.
omg this plugin has been EXACTLY what im looking for! Although instead of using to make my shorts in OBS. I set the resolution to higher than 1080p and i have made a video scene that has my webcam and gameplay layed out so that i can take clips, throw them into Vegas, crop them back down to 1080p and lay them out. Im doing this so if something goes out of frame i have everything right there! Thanks so much!

This plugin is amazing, Harris! Btw, for people using Apple Silicon and having encoding lag issues (i.e. skipped/dropped frames): Use a different encoder for recording the vertical stream (e.g. x264) from the one you're using for the horizontal stream (e.g. Apple VT H264 Hardware Encoder). That solved the encoding issues for me (I'm on a Mac mini M1 16GB RAM). Happy streaming everyone!
