How has no one questioned how it would work on iPhone. iPhone is a closed system which doesn’t allow apps to be installed from any other source apart from the App Store!
Alan I completely understand why he accepted that deal. I acknowledge that this approach is the school of thought that many people adopt, that “if it makes money, I’m involved no matter what” mentality. However that doesn’t negate the fact that this school of thought has an effect on ones standing on morality, honour and principles, Peter is at the stage where no matter what business venture he involves himself in, it’s not going to make him afford something which he can’t afford already, which is why many other successful entrepreneurs such as Deborah adopt the other school of thought, where she wouldn’t get involved because the sugar levels in your product were just a little too high. It wasn’t Deborah I was referring to, I was referring to the fact that the man clearly said that he’s happy to accept a deal of 5% at 125,000 if someone offered it to him. When Tej followed up on this and accepted the offer, he abruptly, rudely and arrogantly declined, he could have just waited out for the others to make the same offer. On top of that, when Jenny asked him if he’s here for a particular dragon, he mentioned he wanted offers from all of them, which was a lie, because when offers from Tej and Touker came, he declined there offers, he declined touker before touker even said anything. All these factors would put off someone who holds these principles and morals a lot more dear to their heart than money. If your colleague was insulted on national television but you still go into business with the one who insulted him, then I’m sorry, you have no backbone.
Pol Fartin I had to google what that meant. Ironic coming from a man who’s called fartin. In all honesty, if you believe that principles and characteristics such as dignity, integrity, honour, honesty and morals are of little value to you, then that says a lot about you as an individual
Pol Fartin it’s called giving someone a taste of their own medicine. Defending yourself doesn’t negate any of those qualities. It’s quite ironic and paradoxical that the one who began with the insults, is upset and questioning someone who insulted him back, that’s like slapping someone and then wondering why they slapped you back. Get your priorities right my friend, you’re clearly lost.
It's not an APK, it's basically a bookmark to a website on your home screen. Their platform looks like an app and they're easy to build, but it's just a fancy website wrapper.
Glorified web pages is essentially what this business is. Not actually apps and are very limited in what they can do. Apple and Google will never relinquish control of Apps for a number of reasons.
I like how, in dragon’s den, they actually encourage the entrepreneur to think it over a moment and “talk to the wall”. In Shark Tank, they basically don’t give you the chance to think anymore. They’d often threaten to go “out” if you do take a moment or when you say you want to hear the other offers, that kind of pressure is just so manipulative in my opinion, but oh well. That’s how they do business and that’s why they’re there.
One year has passed since I last watched this video. My opinion of Brian hasn't changed, I still think he's an arrogant man. How anyone can work with him, I don't know. I would hate to have to deal with him, in any capacity.

Jenny: *inquisitive and intrigued look*
Entrepreneur: For £1
Jenny: I'm out
Mason Johnson I will give the full amount ...but I want 101% of the company, I did money boxes, did I say,
This wasn’t a business negotiation so much as a hostage crisis.
I feel so bad for Taj ;(
Yeah let's feel bad for the man who's worth £300 million, poor Taj didn't get to invest
@Tom Goldenheart I didn't say anything about being rude,I just said I don't feel sorry for him
David Mellish I don’t care if he is worth 300m but man being rejected like that even after he accepted his terms is painful man
*Tej
Tej is always nice and a class act, so I also felt bad for him.
Jenny: “youve ticked all the boxes, you’re clearly on the right path, so why wouldn’t I make an offer? And for that reason, I’m out.”
He shot himself in the foot when he said he is about to win a bet. Immediately gave Jenny a reason to be out. She comes across as that kind of spiteful person to be honest. The only offers Jenny seems to ever make are to good looking men or just completely bizzar business ideas that literally have zero meaning.
Shot himself in the foot by having Jenny go out? You mean saved time.
Jenny doesn't need a reason to be out
Look After My Bills was not a completely bizzar business idea I think
Agreed
@@thebestofenergy lmao
Peter's look when the 2nd guy started talking: "Oh for fuck's sake, it's like having to listen to Duncan all over again..."
People alway joke about how Jenny never made an offer. But i actually feel bad that Tej rarely got his offer accepted, despite it being very competitive
Them: "We're a company that builds apps that go straight to the home screen bypassing the app store"
Peter: "I have no idea of tech, but have you ever heard of 'Big Data', that seems to be the next big thing despite having nothing to do with your business whatsoever"
Them: "We have no idea of Big Data either, but sure throw it into the package"
Me: "I'm an AI specialist, therefore, I'm Jenny"
Haha..
2:16
Entreprenaurs: somebody is interested in investing
Jenny: (yeah, not me)
How has no one questioned how it would work on iPhone. iPhone is a closed system which doesn’t allow apps to be installed from any other source apart from the App Store!
Jenny: "Why wouldn't i make an offer" and for that reason i'm out.
Can’t be that clever- they bet they would get 5 offers when Jenny was around 🤣🤣
I can’t believe Peter accepted that deal, the man has no back bone
He's a businessman. He's not going to risk losing out on a potentially successfully investment just because Deborah's feelings got hurt. lol
@@TheAbuFulaan I wouldn't consider them colleagues. They're literally competing with each other for investment opportunities.
Installing apks from unknown sources? No thanks.
Nothing scary about that inherently.
Nothing scary. Only keyloggers, Trojans and viruses.
It's not an APK, it's basically a bookmark to a website on your home screen. Their platform looks like an app and they're easy to build, but it's just a fancy website wrapper.
Harry Banda wtf is a apks?
@@crapitoutjim it's an android app file. Sort of like an exe on windows (more like an msi installer but let's make this easy)
Peter: I'll offer you all of the money, for 10 percent; but I also want 10 percent of your back garden
This guy is a huge jerk to ask a guy to meet a demand and immediately dismiss him.
If the "tech giant" has to ask what an industry leader and a unicorn as Wix does, he isn't worth 5-10% more in equity than the rest.
I wholeheartedly agree
Not only that it's like a Michael bay film just so much noise on shark tank.
Jenny shafted this man's bet because she can't force herself to invest smdh
One year has passed since I last watched this video. My opinion of Brian hasn't changed, I still think he's an arrogant man. How anyone can work with him, I don't know. I would hate to have to deal with him, in any capacity.
Peter: Im gonna make you an offer
Debra: Im gonna make you an offer
Tej: Im gonna make you an offer
Tuka: Im gonna make you an offer
Jenny: Imma head out
This show is actually amazing.
Entrepreneurs: Hello, Dragons.
Jenny: I'm out.
Touker:”are all 5 dragons gonna make an offer”
Me:”no”
"My videos don't get many hits on TH-cam."
"Pay us and we'll host your vids on an obscure website that nobody's heard of."
"I'm out."
Man I really hoped Deborah and Peter would pull out after how they treated Touker and Tej. They didn’t deserve the investment. Arrogant not confident
Jenny: I’m only here for the free glass of water and for that reason I’m out
They knew what they wanted (take no prisoners style). its not personal its just business. i personally couldn't be like that. Taj knows how to handle rejection. If you listen to some of his non dragon interviews he also knows how to handle success without it all going to his head. he's incredibly smart and unusually gentle in his thoughts.
The way he hugged Peter honestly reminded me of Dopey hugging Snow White.
I love how the cameraman zoomed out just to show the difference in size...
Jenny: I can see where this pitch is going and for the sake of not being rejected, I'm out.
Even if I hadn’t said I was out beforehand, the moment he said the thing about the “sportsman’s bet” I would’ve jumped ship. I’m not going to give money to someone who makes bets about my money, especially if they are going to brag about it.
The Dragons are professional and think with their wallet. I doubt Tej was emotional at all about this he even clapped for them when they got Peter.
Poor Tej - he almost cried.
11:58
Personally I would love to work with Tej or Touker
After seeing what he just did to Tej, I would not want to go into business with someone like that. Next time it could be me he's shafting.
I’m in a tech business, and based on the edited version we see on these clips.... there ain’t no way in hell I’d invest in these 2 / this business. Particularly after he treated Tej and Touker like that. Perhaps the dragons had other info we weren’t shown.
Would love to know what happened to these guys!?
What they've pitched is an advertising service to ask more people to build HTML web apps. Nothing new here.
'HTML' web 'apps'. Elaborate?
@@debeste95 Progressive Web App (PWA), meaning it's running inside a browser, and not a native app.
Highran56 Have you looked up their worth?! 😳 A lot
Exactly. I built this ten years ago.
@@kiwiswede You obviously didn't listen to the pitch at all. There would have been zero interest if it was only an app building service, the value lies in the distribution methods they offer.
Sounds safe.. just download this app from a link, around all kind of security checks that the android/ios stores does. Also sounds like.. a single android or ios update from being destroyed.
Peter is talking about "big data" as "hidden treasure" and they should have gone on excursion to locate that. Now I understand why they say half knowledge is very dangerous 😄😄😄
Jenny: “Just leaves me! How are you feeling?”
Entrepreneurs: “Goo-“
Jenny: “I’m out.”
Blind Dweller underrated comment
The Dragon Slayers.
Never alienate dragons cos that lowers your chance of investment. He's one of those entrepreneurs who thinks he can be in control. Didn't know what was gonna happen
"My Banksy art pieces"...There's no way that guy owns anything by Banksy. I'm sure he meant, "Banksy prints".
Poor Tej! He is a humble guy!
They should not have rejected Tej. I have heard he is a very good person to work with.
Who you hear that from? Looking at you pretending you have insider tea
