Trev you are a nice guy, I came out in October 23 for 2 weeks. I came out and headed to the place I had only seen on line, said to the bike taxi soy pothole and he didn’t know what I was on about. It took me a while to remember the name to soy chiapoon sorry for the spelling, but he took me there and as soon as I walked in I had a young lady bathe my face with a cold towel. Then I met you and we sat down and I bought you a drink and you sat there and talked to me for a while and you gave a first timer sound advice. Had a great time and visited you a couple of times and met a few nice ladies, and met a few elsewhere but it’s a great place to visit. Met beer she waged her finger at me so must have done something wrong. You’re a great person and I thank you for welcoming me on my first visit to a place that I will come back to.
You’re starting to look slimmer and healthier. Keep up the good work I too was in a bad situation with my health but managed get a handle on things. Life is getting better each day Onwards and upwards mate
Love the channel, Trev, makes me want to get back. I built / owned a bar in China for a few years, so I understand many of your joys and sorrows! (PS- the Chinese introduced me to Thailand on a factory tourist trip in 1999). DRINKING: Yup, one of the biggest challenges to bar owners anywhere. SUGGEST: Have your bartender keep a "special" bottle of Vodka (water) on the shelf for you... make drinks for you out of THAT one when guests insist.. (then throw them a free one if they paid). You MUST limit your alcohol intake in that work.

It's an extraordinary commitment to film, edit and upload videos daily for four years, let alone replying to every comment, as you do. The lighting of the bar I saw in this video, really elevates it to a new level. I totally concur with the association between effort you put out, and patronage that comes into the establishment. No, it's not luck. This was an interesting viewing in your honest assessment of the previous year. I am glad to hear that you found a mamasan whom you work well with. I think the fact you are both strong-minded/strong-willed is an asset and complementary to each other.
Trev, your videos are one of the primary inspirations behind my retiring to Thailand. Your videos popped up in my feed in 2021, and I said, "Where the hell is Pattaya?" It started the research ball rolling. I visited in 2023 & it was exactly as you described it. And i loved it. I returned, for good I hope, early this year. You and 3 or 4 other guys on here educated me on the *reality* of this place, and I thank you for that. As for "slower bars." Hell those are my favorite! I get all the attention and laughs that I want w/o being surrounded by 20 drunk, screaming dudes. A big WIN!

It is easy to say lucky but it takes a lot of hard work to bring that luck and viewers. Which in turn brings them to the bar I normally would be there by now but the virus, costs of flight and costs of living has delayed my trip for years. But the bright side of things is the 60 day visa so next year looking to make full use of that and make up for lost time. The videos you make Trev keeps us in the loop of what is happening or changing in Pattaya area so it is like you know as a local.
Been to your place a few times , even though you have worked hard , you have also had a lot more luck than many new bar owners , you worked in the old Buzzin bar in Treetown and were able to build up a large Online community , The Bar crawls got you out of where you worked and got you loads of contacts around town being able to pick their brains , making the effort to learn the Language is spot on , it is always an advantage , the Location of your bar is also good , Soi Pothole is a great place , though admittedly it would have been better at the start of the Soi . There are too many Builders from Bradford and Painters from Plymouth that come on Holiday , sit in a bar drinking and think ( i could do this , it`s easy ) while never have been behind a bar in their lives , not even at home maybe helping out at the social club . You have to be a people person , friendly and jovial even with people you don`t like , it`s hard work with long unsociable hours .
I love your honesty Trev and yes, whilst luck may have played some part in your success, your bulldog tenacity with endless videos layed the ground work for your fan base. You put in the hard yards and you deserve the rewards and judging by that water park video, you have a genuine value and respect for your staff.
I think it was Arnold Palmer that responded to someone who said he was lucky by saying something like "Funny that the more I practice, the luckier I get". Put the effort in and you usually get some payback and you've certainly put the effort in. Congratulations on your anniversary.

Come on, Trev... you say (paraphrasing) "if the girl wants to drink orange juice, let her drink orange juice"... take a bit of your own advice! No one should be offended if you make time to sit and talk with them but only have a soft drink. Larry never drank alcohol in Secrets all those years ago, and no one ever complained. No one needs to tell you what 4-5 hours sleep after [sometimes] heavy drinking is doing to you. I've never been to your bar, despite often staying around the corner in Soi Lengkee, as it's just not my thing these days. I grew out of that scene 10-15 years ago, but I'm happy for your success, and you're the only "Pattaya channel" I watch. You're by far the most personable bar owner in town, in my opinion.

Congratulations Trev...I'll visit your bar soon, and having watched your channel for the past many years, I feel a real connection with you, and was touched by your admission to your personal issues. Your recent outing with the girls to the theme park seems to have done lots of good to you...I'm glad you've recognised your personal challenges and getting on top of these. I've been previously involved in the bar scene some decades ago, and the most common "problem denominator" is drinking with customers, who invariably become your friends. I had to be extra tough on myself to save my marriage and my day job, and I'm grateful that I challenged myself then. Sadly, most of my drinking buddies/colleagues from back then, have all passed away from alcohol related problems...it's the frightening reality.
Appreciate your dedication. Look after yourself and drink plenty of bottled water and sleep more. Take an afternoon power nap. Love low season and high season Hopefully, I'll see you later in this year
I've either lived in, or visited Central Pattaya for 14th months. Songkran, rainy season, Western New Year's, Loy Krathong, and every major traffic thoroughfare from Pattaya Klang to Threp Paya to Threpassit to Third Road. It is never, ever dead. Tree Town is always lively, Buakhao is always backed up, and not just w/ expats, and Beach Road is always a slog. Kite festivals, bikini races, veggie food fests, speedboat competitions, billiards tournaments, international football matches, night markets. I wish ppl, on and off YT, would stop saying "Pattaya is dead".. Try riding a bath bus through Pratamnak. Any month.
Pattaya is awesome, the energy, the people, the girls, the food, I love all of it, I'll be dropping in coming month at least once, when I'm there, should I miss you Trev, I'll be dropping by again another day 😊

Taking on the bar took guts as l said when you did it and not only me but others who knew Beer was a perfect fit. Organise a time you be there so people can meet you and if they want a give you a drink put it over the bar then when you get on live stream thank them if you wanna meet up for a drink make a do of it so your not available 24/7 so you can have blow out once in while ...or say get on the non alcoholic drink it's still money coming in over bar ..so you don't get drunk but your still enjoying meeting fans

I was a bouncer in Vegas and my wife was a nude dancer. Retired now and peacefully single. lol. I'll stop by in Sept and check it out. I lived in Korea back in the early 80s. I love the Asians and their culture. spent a lot of time in South America and didn't really like their vide. Same with the EU. not my style. so, I'm coming back to Asia prob for good. Thailand, VN, Korea, Malaysia, Phillies, Bali and Japan will be my itinerary for the next year or two.

I grew out of that scene 10-15 years ago, but I'm happy for your success, and you're the only "Pattaya channel" I watch. You're by far the most personable bar owner in town, in my opinion.

Congratulations Trev...I'll visit your bar soon, and having watched your channel for the past many years, I feel a real connection with you, and was touched by your admission to your personal issues. Your recent outing with the girls to the theme park seems to have done lots of good to you...I'm glad you've recognised your personal challenges and getting on top of these.
I've been previously involved in the bar scene some decades ago, and the most common "problem denominator" is drinking with customers, who invariably become your friends. I had to be extra tough on myself to save my marriage and my day job, and I'm grateful that I challenged myself then.
Sadly, most of my drinking buddies/colleagues from back then, have all passed away from alcohol related problems...it's the frightening reality.

I've either lived in, or visited Central Pattaya for 14th months. Songkran, rainy season, Western New Year's, Loy Krathong, and every major traffic thoroughfare from Pattaya Klang to Threp Paya to Threpassit to Third Road. It is never, ever dead. Tree Town is always lively, Buakhao is always backed up, and not just w/ expats, and Beach Road is always a slog. Kite festivals, bikini races, veggie food fests, speedboat competitions, billiards tournaments, international football matches, night markets. I wish ppl, on and off YT, would stop saying "Pattaya is dead".. Try riding a bath bus through Pratamnak. Any month.

Well done Trev. Running a bar anywhere is tough. I have never done it, but I know some that have. You have to get so many things right to get the clientelle you want inside. Can't believe it is already a year since that Chyiapoon bar opened. Long may it continue.

If bars want customers. They need girls that are genuine and not jyst trying to screw u for 10 lady’s drinks
I think that is one of the reasons why my bar is successful is the girls are under no illusion whatsoever not to pressure guys if I see that I sack them and I've already sacked two girls that thought they could bend my rules

As l said in our previous correspondence your 100k is an amazing feat and many youtubers will never reach that achievement. Taking on the bar took guts as l said when you did it and not only me but others who knew Beer was a perfect fit. You starting with business experience but not a bar and not in Pattaya a totally different animal and Beer the best mamasun lve ever seen and your hard work has made Buzzin Lounge a success.
A year down mate and well deserved here's to at least another 3 with u in command. And when you go from the bar l hope buzzin home will continue as you already have one sub. All the best T Beer and the buzzettes have a great 1 year anniversary wish l could be there.. 🙂👍

Organise a time you be there so people can meet you and if they want a give you a drink put it over the bar then when you get on live stream thank them if you wanna meet up for a drink make a do of it so your not available 24/7 so you can have blow out once in while ...or say get on the non alcoholic drink it's still money coming in over bar ..so you don't get drunk but your still enjoying meeting fans

I was a bouncer in Vegas and my wife was a nude dancer. Retired now and peacefully single. lol. I'll stop by in Sept and check it out. I lived in Korea back in the early 80s. I love the Asians and their culture. spent a lot of time in South America and didn't really like their vide. Same with the EU. not my style. so, I'm coming back to Asia prob for good. Thailand, VN, Korea, Malaysia, Phillies, Bali and Japan will be my itinerary for the next year or two.
