In this video we will look at how badly Phil screwed up again when he had a chance to upgrade his internet. I was able to contact Comcast but was unable to get info from a rep. I may do an addition to this video later this coming week.
This will be a special one as I react to Kingsly's video on it.

600 dollars for internet and two cell phones is just plain nuts. i know phil is stupid but this takes it up to whole new level.
they gotta have like 50gb data each and 2 high end newphones every 1-3 years. phones worth 1k like his iphone , and hes probs paying for a 2.5gig and 1gig. witch is stupid . why do you think he said he has to "renegotiate his contract " it seams like phills been kicked in the head by a horse
when Phil complained about needing 2 accounts and 2 appointments, I thought that it might be related to having both residential and business internet....it's shocking how easily a tech noob like me can get it right while a 15 year TH-camr can get it wrong LOL
In his mind: Higher price = Better.
It's always fun watching how he manages to scam himself into the worst option available, and then trying to justify it like a child talking to his parents.

Phil fell for the "big discount means I save" shit, even though he was still paying more. He really IS a mark.

Comcast doesn’t usually negotiate with you, they just do what on that sheet of paper they’re holding and gone. 😂😂😂😂. I’ve been a Comcast costumer for 20 years.
Its just a renewal through the loyalty program, KingSly nailed it, he just wanted to flex on the dents and sound more professional. Its not that deep.
He acts like the internet is still dial-up like it was in the 1990’s!
Him paying 100+ a month for an Iphone 6 is the worst part imo

If I were to go to Shaw/Rogers today and get a Samsung S23 Ultra I would pay $90 a month which would include unlimited talk and text 50GB Data.

It's clear to me that he got played into some business package that included the 4G LTE modem. He wants so bad to say he has "business internet" that he doesn't care what comes with it.
I'm torn on if he was scammed or if he scammed himself. Someone obviously put this in his pig brain that it was a good idea. But any simple research would immediately debunk it.
What am I sayiing, Phil is to lazy to do research...

I think his whole set up is purely out of stupidity. He needs the dual setup to make it easier to figure out his taaaaxes guuuuuuuys. Mind you he's said numerous times on cam, he's got a cable running through the closet to Pandalee's/Kat's "office" plus the master bedroom runs off the "business internet"

I remember Phil said at one point that his cell service is so terrible at his house that he can't even "post up" to TwiTTer. I also recall him complaining about not being able to shut down his stream when the internet went down. The 4G backup device could have helped with both of these things, but apparently it's useless since he can't stream at unnecessarily high speeds.
Yeah he said that just recently when his internet went down for the day. When I asked under a sock why not just use the 4G backup he played dumb. Someone then asked why not just hot spot it. Phil said his cell coverage is bad.
I proceeded to look up license/zoned AT&T Cell towers in Renton, there's one just outside the gated community to the south....
He probably doesn't understand how to enable the HOTSPOT....
Guaranteed he'll use the 4G box to tug Hogan's and whine to whales on discord, during an internet outage forced day off.
That's if he actually figures out how to use it....
He'll be calling support " how do I plug it in, you still haven't told me! "
@@ProphetTech I'm sure it was installed and set up during the house call. If it was laying around in the box, he would have waved it in front of the camera.
@@5EyesIsntWatching Typically its not installed. All it is, is a small router like device that is plugged in and pre-configured. Much like just a WIFI system.
I have one here at the shop but we've never had to use it.

Phil is perhaps one of the best examples of someone who has an ego that cost him everything. It's THE root of all his problems. He's wasting hundreds of dollars a month on two internet lines just because he believes a professional streamer must have it.. He spent hundreds on a joystick and another copy of SF6 just to avoid losing his Master Rank Blanka. He's burning thousands every month so he can be at the top of the ranks of a pay to win gacha game that he can't even brag or monetize.

I really wish i had knew more about this in realtime when it was happening, i have a good bit of experience being a network engineer, previously working for MSP, and doing high-end homelab and WiFi installs. Im only a few minutes in and i already have a decent list of things completely wrong about his setup and situation. I guarantee you he could do his streaming off of one basic residential line with enough upload but ill admit many areas dont have a good upload on the residential side so i cant assume everything.
Theres so many funny things about this situation that are somewhat high-level to most to understand. Phil seems like the type to have a double NAT as well as having two different wifi APs in the same enclosure on the same channels.
Im just a few minutes in so i may post an add-on comment to this but it seems most i have to say is probably beating a dead horse. I just wish I could've helped pick this apart there is quite a bit i have firsthand experience with.
His entire setup is just assbackwards....
He streamps at 660P/720P, lets TH-cam upsacale it for him. He has his bitrate set to 12Mbps - 16Mbps on a 10Mbps connection with a 5% boost. Complains about lag while gaming and streaming...
I am convinced a dent told him to raise his bitrate without knowing the in's and out's of the difference in encoders.
I'll have a video going up this weekend on how to do a complete install and setup of a PC using Windows 10/11 without breaking things as Phil claims. Then an OBS tutorial on encoders and stream/recording settings.

There is no "renegotiation". Service providers (ie xFinity, Spectrum) offer several options for the customer to choose from, as shown in this video and each option has a set price.
Whenever he goes off on some 30 minute story to explain something, he's lying.

ISPs loveeee giving us router/modem combos because they're cheaper and they're terrible. I thankfully am allowed to at least use my own router, and my internet quality is excellent.
The modems that they had out like the XB8 is only about $70. Its the cheapest form of modem available in bulk too them.
Something like the Netgear CM2000 and then choose whatever type/quality of router you want is ideal and a much better quality and control over your network.

I quit in 2003. They all lost their contracts and picked up a new one but put us in to a training room where they refused to offer us training on the new tools. So we sat around for 4 weeks and got paid then quit.

Yes he had two lines setup when he moved to Renton. At the time Leanna was with him.
My theory is since in Conneticut it was just him living in the Condo, he probably got it just for Leanna to sell her soaps.

rogers actualy has improved there loyalty programs like i paided 135 for 500mbs down 30 mbs up i got 1.5 gig down and 50 up for the same price now i also got a xr15 streaming box this happend after the merger. the filter is only used in appartment bildings.

Hey at 26 minutes you mention dish internet, well I have dish and they actually didnt even do satellite internet when they installed they have this deal with ATT to provide internet over wire
Ahhhhhhh So Dish provides wired service through AT&T, we have similar here in Canada with Wind, Koodoo, Fido, Solar.
bruh i wanna keep watching but iam going to write 50 comments. you can use a router featuer called MOCA it lets you have multiple routers using the same coax cable system in your home
phils got that 50gb data . lol rogers is the only person to get internet from besides bell. telus has a data router witch is meh, all the small company's lease the bandwidth from rogers and i pay 135 for 1.5gb up and and 50 mbs up, lucky you got a extra 100mbs. im going to call rogers tomorrow ! im cheesed. i hate how you cant get a symmetrical connection with rogers tho its bs. bell has real gig-bit internet like 1gig both up and down . all the tall building in my area have bell fibre my building dosent. omg wait till they push the rogers router firmware where it strips half the ability and dosent give you full control Cisco routers suck. proohet letting me know ROGERS ISFUCKING ME
