Hey everyone, I know its a little late but I wanted to make sure everything to debunk this was filmed and ready to go.
Today we debunk Phil's BS in regards to his massive tantrum on Tuesday and for his new refusal to play Fightcade. We debunk Phil's claims off VPN's adding lag and actually prove the opposite. How to quickly setup a VPN and look at multiple VPN's that will the needs of any gamer.

Phil seems to think as soon as he connects to fightcade it immediately sends his IP to everyone
Guarantee he has been approached by a VPN company for a sponsorship, take the sponsorship and play Fightcade, make some money and play the games he actually wants to
Another thought I had on this is if he actually bothered to be friends with other content creators they might have that vpn sponsorship and hook him up with something but of course he threw that away too.
He will have been approached by a marketing agency on behalf of a VPN provider but he will not have been offered sponsorship, his audience isn't big enough anymore.
Phail claims he gets offers for sponsorship all the time but I guarantee that what he actually gets is an email reading something like
"Dear DSP, we think our brand would appeal to your audience and you could benefit from partnering with our brand. Contact me for more information"
He will get this email because he fits certain criteria, including the appearance of having an audience of 200k people according to his sub count.
Once he replies, the marketing agency will ask for further metrics to judge whether there is any point in offering a sponsorship and he will fail everything except the initial sub count. 😂
Him using a vpn would be perfect he can just blame his failures on the "extra lag" it supposedly causes. Though he would probably fuck it up and connect to somewhere halfway around the world and actually lag anyway.

it is so easy to prepare for potential trolling as dsp. and there is some trolling you cant metigate. if people rename themselves he cant block that
also the fact that he DOESNT HAVE A FUCKING PC GAMING SETUP is weak. i dont like wireless keyboard and mouse but i also sit literally 50cm away from the screen cause of eyesight. the fact that this professional streamer has a worse setup then tech illiterate people i know is pathetic.
Why doesn't he just use a different user name and hide that on OBS with a box?
That would require thinking and work. Also, I would imagine people would still be able to figure out who he is if someone went on at the same time and was watching his stream. Then they would realize that they were fighting him and have is IP. The smarter thing to do in my opinion would be to just use a VPN and choose a location near him. That way any IP that someone gets would be worthless as Phil could just change the IP once he realizes that they have the one from the VPN.

Phil was just looking for any excuse to not have his chat witness him getting destroyed on Fightcade all night.

I don't know how anyone that's been gaming for this long doesn't know what peer to peer is. If the game isn't hosting and running its own servers then it's p2p

Phil definitely played on Fightcade and got bodied. In the earlier days when people were telling Phil to hop on Fightcade, his excuse that there were nothing but cheaters that used input macros on Fightcade.
I am 100% certain he's played it before. Hell, Max was playing yesterday morning when the Akuma DLC was announced...

even if his main line is stronger, its still weak
least for a "buisness line" it is.
His main line is either 300/20 or 500/20. 300 is calculated on him downloading games during the podcast.
His second line confirmed is either 100/10 or 100/15 according to packages in the area.
@@ProphetTech that 2nd line is worse then my internet. yeah i dont have 100 down but likee 50-80 but my up is better then that. and even if his internet is bonkers he has so many devices hooked up hes not getting those stats.
I knew after seeing him freak out about this that he was just using this as an excuse to not get his crap pushed in on Fightcade.

@@ProphetTech Well of course not. But this just shows that we really was (and always will be) looking for an out and not a solution, especially after he snaps at people suggesting he use a VPN to mask his IP.
When i tried to stream on twitch and mixer (rip) it took me all of 15 minutes to configure OBS or the official twitch app to stream before i went live. How is he so incompetent at literally everything
The funniest part of Phil saying he had no way to prepare for trolling is didn’t he brag about when he worked for the helicopter company his whole job was to prepare for potential issues and fix things before they happen so it all runs smoothly? Did he forget that or was this just him talking out of his ass yet again?

Thank you for covering this, as this has been one of the more annoying things for me that Phil has said. And I'm glad you brought up the average human reaction time, because he's always claiming that he would be able to react within the time of the lag of it wasn't there.
Can you also look into and discuss his claims of people in SF6 who "abuse lag by using patterns" and they can supposedly control when the lag is going to happen?

At 31:20 regarding Fightcade VPN comparison, I couldnt observe any latency issues between the matches but I also noticed that there wasn't a latency display in milliseconds unlike in the CoD, SF6, and WoW comparisons. Is it possible to display that information when playing matches in Fightcade so we could compare the difference in milliseconds between using and not using VPN?

yes you can display ms in matches
You can display stat ovelay and FPS but not latency in the match unfortunately
