To specify, It doesn't just make it taste "earthy". Truffle is basically a type of mushroom, so it has that same "Umami boosting" properties as mushrooms do. I'm going off experience and what I normally do is make a custom seasoning salt that's usually pretty simple and the black truffle adds a nice touch.
@@kittiesice oh I know. I’ve never had real truffle but I’ve seen the powder and have had truffle oil a few times. I just thought it was funny they said it only makes it taste like dirt
I just love seeing that beautiful pan 😩
Mythical Kitchen let's GOOOO! It's about time Josh joins the battle
This isn’t the first josh recipe David’s done but it is cool to bring him back. The other recipe I saw I know josh liked even if it didn’t win
babe wake up new david video just dropped
The chicken and waffle version looks the least appetizing but I'd still be curious to taste it.
Huge fan of Chef John (Food Wishes) here (from allrecipes). His recipes are foolproof, and being a fool, that appeals to me. 😄
Edited to add: fried chicken and waffles are totally a diner food thing. I don't think Josh was too far off the beaten path there. (I'm a big Josh fan as well!)
Clam juice IS NOT let over liquid from steaming. I know it's just an engagement baiting question that a one click Google search can answer. When you open a clam it is the juice INSIDE the clamshell. It's not JUST clam meat on there.
These vids are great please keep doing them
I dare you to try a recipe from a fancy fast food episode from mythical kitchen lmao
I'd love to see more mythical kitchen videos
just saying you could use some black truffle oil to give the flavour without the huge price tag
If you could, would it be possible for you to do wings? There are thousands of TH-camrs boasting about their wings being the best.
Honey works here in Australia too, we don't have much but we have Honey lol
Does it save you a lot of dollos?
@@kaldo_kaldo every dollarydoo counts right
you need to try some cowboy kent rollins recipes
Come to Canada, maple butter is a staple😂🙌
Never had pot pie before.. But looks yummy.. Won't the chicken get overcooked, if you are using rotisserie chicken?
chef john is comfort character material
My mom makes chicken pot pie with cheddar biscuits instead of puff pastry as a topper. It’s not super relevant to this video but it’s really good and I think you all should try it sometime. Also I wanted to flex my mom’s culinary inventiveness 😤
Basically the first one is a big "vol au vent". Something that French people knows even in Canada 😁
"Look, it grows like 3 inches" 4:11
I'm pretty sure clam juice it's just clam broth, water thats been used to cook clams
Vanilla in waffle when paired with chicken messes with my head. It always spoils chicken and waffles for me.
Loved this!! I had a pot pie for lunch today. It was meant to be lol.
Pot Pies!!!!! Everybody loves Pot Pies !!! You love ''em.!!! I love em!! ! Your in laws love em!! Especially Pot Pies that are cerifiably Insane. Piping hot and crusty and full of delicous gravy as they emerge from the oven. The family gathers 'round the table in eager anticipation of eating a big hearty helpin' of Insane Pot Pies - maybe two or three each -with some baked beans on the side. . And oh boy look - Here comes the Mac and Cheese. You say you want that Mac and Cheese served in a nice high carrb non KETO bread bowl (boule?). No problem. Just don't forget to add some salt and plenty of breadcrumbs to the top of that piping hot and hearty Mac and Cheese. When everybody's had his or her fill, , don't forget the family dog. Throw that hound some scraps.
