I bought my Himalayan thanks to you and i think i never enjoyed a motorcycle so much, i fell like royal Enfield brings back all the things we have lost about motorcycling in the last years. I hope more people will try these bikes because it's a real pleasure to find something you never realized you lost long time ago.
I'm in chiang Mai. Just been in the enfield show room... My head says no but my heart screams yes... The scram so tempting.. As is the hunter.. *Crap Game*
i love my Scram 411. I drive slow and sure with my cars. I drive slow and sure with my motorbikes. I love the slow life make me appreciate nature a bit more compared to the adrenaline rush of speeding up :)
You guys are one of my favorite motorcycle review channels for a while now. You give us viewers the same charm, that you get when riding a no-frills, no-gimmicks motorcycle. Original, and doesn't try to be pleasing to the masses. Please stay this way.
"Slow children playing" 😂👍 Now, one year later, I got this Scram 411 myself and I love it! I have ridden it around 3500 kms since June 20, and I have been to places I never thought I could reach before. The only con so far is of course I cannot match the acceleration of the big twins my comerades ride, but given a few more seconds, I catch up! 😁👍
My son and I have both been following you guys for a while now, and this review really summed up why we do. The laid back style, with just enough stats, and then showing what the bike really does best (exploring the beatiful Welsh countryside) is what a bike review is all about for me. There are certain TH-camrs (no names) who review bikes and take one corner commenting "its' extremely flickable" ... really?? Please keep on doing what you do...the extra scenes, the comedy, you guys just being you. Oh and 'Slow Children'? I used to live in the Fens ... there were quite a few 'slow' children there (if you know what I mean).
Thanks Paul! Really glad you liked it. I thought I’d try out something a bit different and wasn’t sure how it would go down. Much appreciated. One of my dogs is from the fens. 👍🏼
I might be biased, having a Himalayan. But I agree. Riding back from the DGR a month ago, I took the single lanes from Bathurst to almost make it home. Tootling along at a gentlemanly pace, hitting dirt and gravel, unsealed roads with potholes, bumps and mud. The Himi just plodded along like nothing changed. I would assume the Scram would be quite similar. A more powerful bike would have only done one thing better. Got me home faster. The funny part is… when you’re riding a bike, why would you want it to be over sooner? Think about that one. 👌🏻
That's probably THE nicest looking bike RE have produced to date, EXCEPT for those daft looking yellow covers! You didn't show us the brackets but I'd be tempted to saw them off if they can't be unbolted. I also love the minimalist approach to instrumentation on motorcycles unlike the "command module" approach on some much more expensive high tech offerings. The huge push towards battery power is a big con IMO. In addition to the environmental impact of actually making them, people buy EV's, declare themselves "emission free", then take it home and charge it from the grid with electricity still generated largely by fossil fuels! What a joke!😂
Even when charged using coal power plants, an ev car has lower lifetime emissions than one with an internal combustion engine. For a motorcycle, this is even more pronounced, as ev motorcycles have smaller batteries than ev vars and ice motorcycles have less efficient engines than ice cars.
I really like that bike. Price is great and it doesn’t look like a transformer. Tired of bikes looking like plastic toys. I think this will fit the bill perfectly. I do city commutes, and country lanes only. I have no desire to take my trucks or motorcycles on the expressways. I am about 5’7” and 175lbs about once or twice a week I do a 90mile ride at 55-60mph. I think this bike should be able to handle that pretty easily with my stature and weight. Now I just have to find one, closest Royal Enfield dealer from me is about 100 miles from me one way.
That "yellow cover" is not to cover up the bracket where the bars would go, it is a bumper for when you fall so you dont damage the bike, if you actually check it out you will notice its mounted directly to the frame making it extra sturdy, because scram bikes are made to go off road where you may fall off a lot and in this way with that bumper you avoid a lot of damage to the bike.
What a good Sunday afternoon watch, slightly different to your usual reviews. I've been toying with the idea of buying a Scram and after watching many reviews, yours is pushing me closer to the edge than the rest.
Love this channel. It’s like having a chat about bikes with a mate. Fully agree with your comments about smaller bikes to get to pootle about. I’ve got a Rocket 3R Black, but I find myself going for my Scrambler for most outings for that reason. It feels like ‘the pressure is off’ on a smaller bike and it’s great fun
I just rewatched this video. Why? Because I had the good fortune to test ride 4 RE bikes today, and this one blew me away. I admit that the classic 350 is the most beautiful RE bike, bit I had trouble getting my boot under the shifter. The meteor disappointed in the comfort department, and although the int650 had the most refined motor, it lacked a bit at low revs, and the rear brake was mushy. The Scram just floored me with a near perfect riding position, and the seat was not anywhere near as bad as I thought it would be. The bike was agile, had just the right power to weight ratio, and sounded very nice. As always, you really”get” what these bikes are all about in your videos. I enjoyed watching it again🙂
I'm a year behind... re watching some of your older videos. Your comments around environmentally friendly bikes etc (around 9 or 10 minutes in) makes so much sense in so few words... keep it up. Muz from Oz.
What a truly enjoyable review so many other youtubers are all about big torque and speed i Always thought motorcycle riding was about enjoying the surroundings
What really counts is smiles per mile. You don’t need excessive horsepower to enjoy yourself. So it’s great that RE gives us these excellent bikes at such a good price. Thank you for your review that covered more than just the bike.
Have to admit that i only recently discovered your channel, but wow! Totally love the way you both present and so refreshing to watch. Over the past few weeks i literally binge watched all previous reviews. Keep on the good work!!
I liked these, but in the end went for a 350 classic, just because I liked the ride more. It just seems that Royal Enfield are knocking it out of the park at the minute. I really think you can’t go wrong with any of them. Can’t wait to pick mine up this coming week. Looking forward to a trip around Wales in September before going off to the alps for a few weeks on it next year as well. Life in the slow Lane can be a great way to travel.
I am living on a paradise island in Thailand at the moment. I was actually thinking about buying a 350 scooter to get around on but after seeing this I am sold on the scram. They biggest danger here is sand on the roads its worse than ice and to get to my home on the side of a steepish hill this ticks the boxes. Thanks for your channel you come across as a lovely man and like me appreciates nature.
Pausing it over 5 minutes in (I apologize to everyone, my memory just isn't what it used to be, I'll try not to be a pest) to share that another unique feature that these gentlemen throw in on their reviews is on their destination, they pause and comment about the scenery such as an old church, this old farm, etc. I really enjoy this, I hope they keep it in their videos!
me and my brother bought Himalayan 's a year ago. We are both in our late 50's and have loads of bikes over the years. RE and particularly the Himalayan are brilliant. Takes us back to the 80's. So much fun. Great video. Thanks.
This is my next bike. I have a Speed Triple that goes as fast as you can stand, I don’t need to go fast. I want to clod around on trails and fire roads and still be able to ride to and fro. The Scram 411 is perfect for that. And it looks brilliant, like a real motorcycle made out of aluminum and steel with proper spoked wheels.
Bought this bike a couple of weeks ago. Absolutely love it. As said in the video. Just keeps you wanting to explore roads you wouldn't dream of riding along normally.. 24 bhp.Who cares.? Anymore would spoil the bike.
Just about 2 minutes in, thought I would pause just to mention what others have mentioned, and that is the scenery is absolutely beautiful, but the opening shot here, at a distance from The Ol' Man, viewing through the tall grass, shots like this just makes me addicted to these gentlemen's content, Bravo! Now back to the video...
Depends what you want to use it for like most bikes, and your expectations. But for me on the Thai island of Koh Lanta where roads are very varied, and sometimes nonexistent, this bike is the perfect vehicle. I have a Ducati Night Shift scrambler (too fast and high revs for this island), and a Harley 1200 sportster (can ride on the island but the holes in the road break my ass.. I take the scram 411 more than any of the three bikes for daily use. It is a lovely bike to ride i have been riding one for 2 months now. It likes low revs. The bike comes with knobbly tires in Thailand as standard, and i believe we do not have those A2 or A5 limitations you have in UK, so the bikes here in Thailand perform slightly differently. I dont have a licence never made one been riding since age 10, in Thailand its a 2 quid fine endless no other punishment for no license or helmet. So i just get caught 2 times a year and pay 3 quid and drive on (you can keep driving even though you dont have a licence after you pay). I miss the bikes of the eighties, and the Royal Enfields bring me that sensation again the overhead single bop bop bop bop sound and the simplicity and easy to maintain. All the old screws and nuts that anyone can fix with a spanner and a screwdriver like in the old days. They don't ask you for a licence when you buy a car or bike here in Thailand. If they enforced that, ninety percent of the farming population wouldn't be able to drie their pickups to go get the rice from the field, as Thai farmers and villagers out in the country can't pass a driving test. I love living far away from all those Europe and UK strict dystopian rules
Did not know this bike existed until now. I'm excited to see it's also coming to the states later this year. This video just gave me another bike to be on the fence about for my next purchase...
I really enjoyed that review. The Scram 411 does seem to evoke that "just keep going" type of feeling. The minimal amount of specification data is ideal as is the additional shots of the countryside you are travelling in and the old stone church. Made me start think about next weekend's ride. And perhaps the cow may have recognised its sister you were wearing on your back. 🤔 Thankyou, looking forward to next review/ride
The 411 is good value. It would look better with a flat seat, in my eyes. I agree about your comments about electric vehicles. I'd rather have my 390 Duke than a 411. Better engine, suspension and gearbox. It runs on tubeless tyres. Mind you, I always rode on tubed tyres in the old days. Everyone did. Good video. You live in a beautiful area. I like the donkey.
I LOVE the small covers on the lower front of each side of the tank. Aesthetically those drew my eye first and they are such a rad, little detail. I’m amazed when people complain about them or take them off. They’re unique, in my mind, in such a positive way.
What a great view point, "rubbish brakes are a safety aid, stops you going to fast". Ooo that made me laugh out load. You must be part of some sort of vintage bike group with thoughts like that. Great video.
Interestingly, I test rode a Scram last summer and was very unimpressed..however rode away from the dealer on a Himalayan a week later and I must say that despite the lack of power and speed, after some mods I love it
I 100% agree on the EV bit. I'm in the US, and we're jumping on that band wagon faster than anyone can think of the consequences. It's sad how we have to destroy something before we understand how bad it is. As for this review, I like watching your reviews. I'm a little bit taller than you are and all legs. I can see how you fit the bikes and think my posturing is about the same, so I value your input greatly. I'm looking to trade my Duc in for a dual sport and looking at all the possibilities. Still leaning on a Suzuki DR650S. But really like the Yamaha TW200 and now this Royal Enfield Scram. I like the "put put" bikes that can get really slow so I can take in the scenery, but with the highways I have around me, I need a bigger engine to hit those speeds so I don't become road pizza. Thanks for the review Brother!
What an awesome way to spend the day. Riding a brilliant little gem from RE around the stunning Welsh countryside on beautiful summers day. You're living the dream.👍👍
More videos like this one please. I love how you showed so much more than just the bike. But getting to your question: slow children need love and a place to play just like everyone else, and the cities have proven to be too dangerous for them.
Absolutely enjoy your reviews, I returned to riding after 30 years. Spent a lot of years climbing mountains......kids are grown, I’m a grandpa......I enjoy the smiles per miles on a motorcycle cruise. I see so much more on side roads
subscribed today. accidentally found your channel while looking up the RE scram 411. thoroughly enjoyed your laid back style and relaxed content sir. looking forward to more of your videos. much respect from the Philippines.
Had a go on a Scram yesterday and I confess didn't enjoy it nowhere near as much as I thought I would. To me it felt like an oversized cheap 125. Tried an Interceptor afterwards, cracking bike. Not fast, but extremely easy and satisfying to ride. Think I know what to save the pennies for now 🙂
Not as fancy as Fort-9 but I must say the white lumberjack of a man look is becoming. I've almost attained it. Nice choice of music. Inspiring and pleasant all round.
Thank you for the excellent, insightful review of the Scram 411. I purchased my Himalayan this past January to ride in the mountains here but had been wondering if I shouldn't have waited for the Scram. I think it would have definitely been able to handle most of the riding I do but I'm happy to live with the Himalayan. I was hoping you would have provided a glimpse of the waterfall. And the hippies. We don't see many here in Pennsylvania anymore and when I do they're usually in a Volvo. The VW Bus hippies have all given way to the van life hipsters who buy all the decent VW buses! As always, your videos are great.
When I see it, I think of Yamaha SR400. I know it is not same but, it was first bike I ever set my arse on before I had any clue about motorcycles whatsoever and it imprinted in my brain. The fact that it is carburated and has kick start makes it even more appealing. I think Yamaha may bring back few in 2023.
Not only do i like your reviews in general, i just love your attitude towards motorcycles and rinding them - thanks for entertaining me and wanting to ride almost every single bike you show me :) Greetings from Austria!
Now I have bought this fine maschine and my wife love the maschine too. It is wonderfull to drive here in Norway. Wonderfull because and now listen - the horsepower i at the bottom - so we have had a super hollyday round about in Norways beautifullest and smallest ways in our beautifull mountainfilled country. AND THE RE SCRAM 411 DID IT SUPERB. I do not now thinking of buying a BMW R1200 GS or buy a Triumph 900 or buy even the superfine Suzuki 650 V-Strom which is a superb middelclasstravellerbike - no doubt. But here in NOrway we have not many motorways and me and my wife loved the little great reliable Royal Enfield Scram 411. It gives you a way to enjoy the fine nature in a better way - we talked about and why buy more then you need. A fine maschine which now has become a member of our motorcyclefamily.
I've probably watched this 3 times now, I went to a local Royal Enfield yesterday in Glasgow to see the Scram in the flesh and I'm really taken by it for all the reasons you mention in the video. Going to the Edinburgh dealer today to check out other colour options. It's refreshing to find a larger gent reviewing bikes too as I'm 6ft3 and >17stone so size and suspension are always a factor with bikes. Cheers
As a Himalayan rider I’d recommend one over the Scram. Mine handles better with a passenger than without so I’m guessing it’ll like your weight. Also the seat is flatter and won’t crush your prunes. And it has a rear rack.
It's no surprise I like this review more than any others. I do appreciate the casual commentary combined with the experience of the ride and your take on the World around you. Fantastic! I'll be finding myself in the Scram saddle in a couple weeks. Can't wait! No doubt this video will cross my mind while testing RE's latest gift to the moto community. Cheers. 🍻
Imho your bike having soul is one of the most important things your bike can have. I learnt on an MT-07, it's kinda numbed in its preciseness. When I first sat on my RE:Meteor the smile just came straight away. I'm not sure if it's how they build them or just the level of mechanical interaction over digital, I really can't explain it.
I agree with everything you’ve said generally, as well as about the RE… One of the best things people could do if they are concerned about the environment is to stop changing vehicles every 2-3 yrs instead of this fixation with batteries and all the damage involved in their production. People have been sucked into this consumerism cycle whereas if they simple kept their vehicles longer they would use far less of the Worlds resources. I ride a 1983 BMW R100RS and a 1990 BMW K1, both of which are perfectly reliable, (I’ve just done 1500mls in a week touring around the UK on the RS) and, like you say, never felt the need for more performance. So to save the planet, buy a simple bike, enjoy it and keep it 👍😊
I absolutely love these reviews!! I believe this is the best experience a rider could have. Travelling to so many beautiful places and enjoy the scenery. You are living my dream..
Yeah brother I’m with you. I have no interest in riding around the globe with all my belongings and a sore ass. I like to just go to work and maybe go for a spin enjoy my bike and then go to my comfy home and have a beer and a smile about it!🤷♂️ The 411 looks pretty good for that, Great review brother 👍 And about the government hacks and emissions I couldn’t agree more! It’s all about control really not the environment
I bought my Himalayan 4 months ago with a thousand kms (practically new), and I can say it's the best standing and sitting position I've ever felt on any bike. A little heavy, yes, but that weight helps gain amazing handling and control over the bike. The suspension is perfect for light to middle off road and gravel roads. Fuel tank capacity is optimal (15 lts) which in Trip F gives you an autonomy of approximately 160+ kms. Many, many customize options to add, navigation tools installed and simple, brilliant, easy mechanics and maintenance. It's the almost perfect exploring motorcycle. Go test one and see for yourself ✌️
my motto: It's not the destination; it''s the journey. The cafe style appeals to my eye more than modern sport or Adventure bikes. My biggest objection to R.E. bikes is the WEIGHT. I was told that weight (ALWAYS) matters ... and I believe it. That's why I think that for puttering about, the 316 pound Honda CB 300R makes a world of sense - even though I'm not so keen on its sport bike look.
Great video! I watched this and it convinced me this is the bike for me. Bought a 2019 a week ago, and can't wait to ride it this spring! Gonna take it on the Pa wilds BDR-X this year!
My dear sir i would say your point about the electric bikes vs the normal bikes is really amazing to hear. Your review is too great. I've driven the same in india its a decently good bike like you said.
Test rode one a few months back and was very impressed.I found it sat nicely and not stressed at 70mph.No centre stand as standard is a bit disappointing.
I’ve had scooter (blast to ride just not enough power), KLR 650 dual sport ( fun, go anywhere, but too tall and heavey for my short legs and the clutch hurt my arthritic hands). Honda pacific coast 800 which is more of a cruiser bike however I like my bike more flickable. Now I have a Kawi VERSA650LT, eats up the curves and miles. I live in lush Tennessee where the deer is fat and over populated and can amble across the road at anytime. I find myself riding slower well with-in my limits. Tennessee is a beautiful state and I more interested in exploring and discovery and am seriously considering the scram 411 especially as I am hitting mid 60 years old and need something lighter and easer to ride.
Much more handsome than the Himalayan. If my wife would let me have another bike, this would be it. Still very happy with my Interceptor though, REs are magical
I could not help but notice your Premier helmet. My very first full face helmet, many year ago, was a Premier, Mine was candy blue and white. Also, I very much enjoyed your video and am in agreement with your thoughts. Oh, and I LOVE churches both new and old. We have one near us in New York State, USA. It was built by German settlers in 176o, older than our country.
Congrats on hitting 50k and beyond. Very good videos and well deserved. I am definitely a Royal Enfield convert and have become a big fan of the brand as a result of your channel and several others who have done reviews. Hoping to travel to and ride in Wales if possible in the near future. Beautiful scenery and the kind of roads I like. Cheers and stay safe, Dan. ✌️🏍🇨🇦
Beautiful video! Very captivating, very entertaining, with some deep insights and some very important environmental tips and of course beautiful nature trails...Greetings from India!
I really do like the look of the Scram. Based off your review I was going to buy an Interceptor. When I got to the dealer I found I actually liked the Meteor so put the money down and I’m picking it up tomorrow. If it feels too small in the end my plan is to trade it for a Himalayan or Scram next year.
Love what you're saying near the end there about soulless modern bikes. I really resonated with that. I'm getting a Himalayan as I'm not interested in speed but love off road and going down tiny lanes and exploring. Love your reviews. 😊👍
Thank you for preaching the truth! As a steward of our environment I hate when making money and controlling others is masked as Green. Right now with the short supply/high cost of fuel, governments around the world should be making it easy for motorcycles to be plentiful and affordable.
Thanks for understanding. ‘We’re’ so far from fixing the problem that as a long term environmentalist, I’ve actually lost hope. Governments and most people have barely touched the first rung of the ladder, and most are on the wrong ladder all together 👍🏼
I loved this review...its exactly what I do ...love old churches ...odd roads I have never been on just stopping when the fancy takes ....this could be my next bike ....great stuff !

I agree, bikes like the Scram are great "hop on" bikes for a range of reasons. I love the smaller cc bikes

you got the fine clou of this little minimalistic maschine an I love it too here in Norway and my wife too:
The filming and scenery in these videos is top notch. Seriously the best very good job.

I’m really liking the attitude and demeanor and personality on this channel. Good stuff.
me and my brother bought Himalayan 's a year ago. We are both in our late 50's and have loads of bikes over the years. RE and particularly the Himalayan are brilliant. Takes us back to the 80's. So much fun. Great video. Thanks.
Thanks buddy. Yes they are great! 👍🏼
With you 100%. Adventure bikes aren't just ugly, they're a huge burden everywhere but the freeway. Dual sports are where it's at.
Thanks buddy 👍🏼👍🏼
This is my next bike. I have a Speed Triple that goes as fast as you can stand, I don’t need to go fast. I want to clod around on trails and fire roads and still be able to ride to and fro. The Scram 411 is perfect for that. And it looks brilliant, like a real motorcycle made out of aluminum and steel with proper spoked wheels.
I had a Himalayan and it was good, now own a Scram and absolutely love it lighter, more comfortable, and just great fun 😀
OK that’s great 👍🏼👍🏼
I've seen many reviews about this bike, but you really convinced me, thank you... amazing video
Bought this bike a couple of weeks ago.
Absolutely love it.
As said in the video. Just keeps you wanting to explore roads you wouldn't dream of riding along normally..
24 bhp.Who cares.?
Anymore would spoil the bike.
Yes indeed. Thanks buddy
Thanks for the interesting comment. Nanny state here is literally into everything! And people think we’re a free country 👍🏼👍🏼
Loved the review as always and the scenery you have chosen. RE must be really pleased the way you present their Bikes!!
Thanks very much!
I hope so. 👍🏼👍🏼
Did not know this bike existed until now. I'm excited to see it's also coming to the states later this year. This video just gave me another bike to be on the fence about for my next purchase...
Excellent 👍🏼👍🏼
Trundling along on a Scram 411, surrounded by country side and fresh air. What could be nicer?!
I have hyperactivity disorder and I survived. I think it is a safety thing. Moving and flashing parts are easier to see.
There is a Slow Dog Kennel on our road and I agree with you they are easier to avoid than fast dogs!
Thankyou, looking forward to next review/ride
Thanks buddy. Much appreciated. Haha you may be right 👍🏼👍🏼
Briljant video! This way you give a bike review a whole new charm! Wales looks beautiful. Greetings from the Netherlands
Thanks very much indeed 👍🏼👍🏼
The 411 is good value. It would look better with a flat seat, in my eyes. I agree about your comments about electric vehicles. I'd rather have my 390 Duke than a 411. Better engine, suspension and gearbox. It runs on tubeless tyres. Mind you, I always rode on tubed tyres in the old days. Everyone did. Good video. You live in a beautiful area. I like the donkey.
Yes agreed 💯
Thanks buddy 👍🏼
I went with the KTM 390 Adventure bets of bough worlds and of course the DR650 in the stable as well.
I LOVE the small covers on the lower front of each side of the tank. Aesthetically those drew my eye first and they are such a rad, little detail. I’m amazed when people complain about them or take them off. They’re unique, in my mind, in such a positive way.
Another good positive review, I'll be booking my test ride tomorrow, many thanks
Awesome. Thanks buddy
What a great view point, "rubbish brakes are a safety aid, stops you going to fast". Ooo that made me laugh out load. You must be part of some sort of vintage bike group with thoughts like that. Great video.
Hopefully you got the irony 👍🏼
Love the personal touch you bring into your reviews. Well done and thanks a lot for sharing!
Many thanks 😊
Thanks buddy. Yes I’m very lucky 👍🏼💯
More videos like this one please. I love how you showed so much more than just the bike. But getting to your question: slow children need love and a place to play just like everyone else, and the cities have proven to be too dangerous for them.
Thanks buddy. I thought we’d try to show the lifestyle of riding and exploring a bit more.
Yes you never know what’s playing round the next corner 😁
Absolutely enjoy your reviews, I returned to riding after 30 years. Spent a lot of years climbing mountains......kids are grown, I’m a grandpa......I enjoy the smiles per miles on a motorcycle cruise. I see so much more on side roads
Thanks buddy. Yes that’s true
subscribed today. accidentally found your channel while looking up the RE scram 411. thoroughly enjoyed your laid back style and relaxed content sir. looking forward to more of your videos. much respect from the Philippines.
Thanks buddy. Welcome aboard 👍🏼👍🏼
I liked the format of this video. It placed the bike in settings that highlighted its potential
Thanks very much 👍🏼
Had a go on a Scram yesterday and I confess didn't enjoy it nowhere near as much as I thought I would. To me it felt like an oversized cheap 125. Tried an Interceptor afterwards, cracking bike. Not fast, but extremely easy and satisfying to ride. Think I know what to save the pennies for now 🙂
I agree. I am picking up my Scram in 2 days. Same color as the one you show here. I can't wait!
Not as fancy as Fort-9 but I must say the white lumberjack of a man look is becoming. I've almost attained it. Nice choice of music. Inspiring and pleasant all round.
Excellent review! Great that you also pay a lot of attention to the riding experience and context rather then the specs.
Thanks very much 👍🏼
Just bought a scram 411 today I appreciate your video makes me feel like I made the right choice
Thanks very much.
We’ll have to sneak back to film them!
We did show the waterfall in our tour of Wales video last year 👍🏼
When I see it, I think of Yamaha SR400. I know it is not same but, it was first bike I ever set my arse on before I had any clue about motorcycles whatsoever and it imprinted in my brain. The fact that it is carburated and has kick start makes it even more appealing. I think Yamaha may bring back few in 2023.
Ok cool 👍🏼
Not only do i like your reviews in general, i just love your attitude towards motorcycles and rinding them - thanks for entertaining me and wanting to ride almost every single bike you show me :) Greetings from Austria!
Much appreciated 👍🏼👍🏼
Cheers
Great! Thanks buddy. Good luck with that 💯
As a Himalayan rider I’d recommend one over the Scram. Mine handles better with a passenger than without so I’m guessing it’ll like your weight. Also the seat is flatter and won’t crush your prunes. And it has a rear rack.
@@Rick-ve5lx thanks buddy 👍🏼👍🏼
It's no surprise I like this review more than any others. I do appreciate the casual commentary combined with the experience of the ride and your take on the World around you. Fantastic!
I'll be finding myself in the Scram saddle in a couple weeks. Can't wait! No doubt this video will cross my mind while testing RE's latest gift to the moto community.
Cheers. 🍻
Thanks very much indeed 👍🏼👍🏼Good luck with the bike 👍🏼👍🏼
I believe you just helped me to decide: The Scram411 is the next one! TKU. Great video - beautiful!
I was torn between getting the Himalayan or Himalayan Scram. Your video certainly made me decided to get this instead. Thank you buddy!
Yes you’re entirely right 👍🏼👍🏼
I agree with everything you’ve said generally, as well as about the RE… One of the best things people could do if they are concerned about the environment is to stop changing vehicles every 2-3 yrs instead of this fixation with batteries and all the damage involved in their production. So to save the planet, buy a simple bike, enjoy it and keep it 👍😊
You are indeed absolutely right. 💯
8:59 Exactly! That electric vehicles are green is a hoax.
I absolutely love these reviews!!
I believe this is the best experience a rider could have. Travelling to so many beautiful places and enjoy the scenery. You are living my dream..
Thanks very much indeed 👍🏼
Yeah brother I’m with you. I have no interest in riding around the globe with all my belongings and a sore ass. I like to just go to work and maybe go for a spin enjoy my bike and then go to my comfy home and have a beer and a smile about it!🤷♂️ The 411 looks pretty good for that, Great review brother 👍
And about the government hacks and emissions I couldn’t agree more! It’s all about control really not the environment
Thanks buddy. We are in unison on all that 💯
I bought my Himalayan 4 months ago with a thousand kms (practically new), and I can say it's the best standing and sitting position I've ever felt on any bike.
We have test rode the Himalayan. Check out the video 👍🏼
What a lovely video to watch. Beautiful scenery. Soooo chill… nicely done!
I've watched this upload a half doz times.. I can't get over the beauty and character of the place. It's right out of a fairytale. 👍👍👍👍👍
my motto: It's not the destination; it''s the journey.
Such an enjoyable watch, great scenery, great bike and very well presented, I think I need a Royal Enfield in my life ! Thanks.
Excellent views of the countryside and machine! That wanderlust factor on a motorcycle is a great selling point for me.
Thanks buddy. Yes 💯
I loved your review... the way you deliver the information with diferent positive notes, makes it sweet, and inspiring...
Many thanks 😊
Great video! I watched this and it convinced me this is the bike for me. Bought a 2019 a week ago, and can't wait to ride it this spring! Gonna take it on the Pa wilds BDR-X this year!
I bought the Himalayan
I’m considering this for the very same reason. I’m 2 hours from the PA wilds BDRx
I really appreciate your honesty and I 100% agree with you when it comes to electric vehicles.
Thanks buddy
Another fantastic review
Regards
Dave from Scotland
Thanks buddy 👍🏼
My dear sir i would say your point about the electric bikes vs the normal bikes is really amazing to hear. Your review is too great. I've driven the same in india its a decently good bike like you said.
Thank you very much 👍🏼👍🏼
Test rode one a few months back and was very impressed.I found it sat nicely and not stressed at 70mph.No centre stand as standard is a bit disappointing.
Yes agreed 👍🏼
love the no nonsense perspective!!!!!
Funny, informative and one of the best reviews I've seen about the Scram 411, nice work Ol' Man!
Thanks buddy 👍🏼
I could not help but notice your Premier helmet. My very first full face helmet, many year ago, was a Premier, Mine was candy blue and white. Also, I very much enjoyed your video and am in agreement with your thoughts. Oh, and I LOVE churches both new and old. We have one near us in New York State, USA. It was built by German settlers in 176o, older than our country.
Yes I had an old mx one years back. Love the fit and quality.
Thanks for your comments 👍🏼
Congrats on hitting 50k and beyond. Very good videos and well deserved. I am definitely a Royal Enfield convert and have become a big fan of the brand as a result of your channel and several others who have done reviews. Hoping to travel to and ride in Wales if possible in the near future. Beautiful scenery and the kind of roads I like. Cheers and stay safe, Dan. ✌️🏍🇨🇦
Thanks very much.
Yes they are brilliant bikes for being less modern
Beautiful video! Very captivating, very entertaining, with some deep insights and some very important environmental tips and of course beautiful nature trails...Greetings from India!
So, you liked it then.
Totally agree with your comments on power, size and performance.
Definitely looking for a test ride on one.
💯 Go for it
I really do like the look of the Scram. Based off your review I was going to buy an Interceptor. When I got to the dealer I found I actually liked the Meteor so put the money down and I’m picking it up tomorrow. If it feels too small in the end my plan is to trade it for a Himalayan or Scram next year.
Thanks buddy. Excellent!!
love the review and agree with your voew on overpowered ADV bikes. looks good too. your review helped me with my own purchase
The cattle near the end of video seem to know your jacket....maybe an old friend....lol...
Haha yes maybe 😬
Love what you're saying near the end there about soulless modern bikes. I really resonated with that. I'm getting a Himalayan as I'm not interested in speed but love off road and going down tiny lanes and exploring. Love your reviews. 😊👍
Really great, that British country side and the bike , it's a great combination, absolutely, have no words to explain, loved it...thank you.. 🙏
Glad you liked it! Thanks very much!
The cows at the fence near the end probably thought you're one of the herd with that leather jacket on. Great bike and video
I reckon you’re right. Thanks buddy
I loved this review...its exactly what I do ...love old churches ...odd roads I have never been on just stopping when the fancy takes ....this could be my next bike ....great stuff !
Thanks buddy! This is a great bike for all that 👍🏼
