The effort you put in researching these videos is impressive. kudos to you and the team that puts all this together...... Something struck me when you showed the similarities between Lawrence Hall and City Market designs. Both have vaulted ceiling. The design allows more light and makes the room airy. Lawrence Hall was used as a center for Horticulture so the design would complement the horticulture environmental requirement. Back to City Market, could it also have the same design as Nairobi was an important trade center and its design would provide a good environment for the produce?

Thank you! Nairobi Market is still a horticulture centre. It is the only place where you can get fresh flowers in the CBD. My hunch would, city market was first a horticulture centre and later did accommodate other fresh produce. The vaulted design allows good circulation of air which is essential for fresh produce.
