My classmate in Homabay high school
Quite unfortunate.
My hypothesis is that most of the things we do in Kenya are tribal based we aren't really speaking a common language... The only music we make that is unanimously accepted is urban music like... gengetone ,urbantone or whatever you may call it tries to borrow from the reggae or grill culture in western societies highly accepted by the urban youth... Here we also prefer singing in our own mother tongue with which our radio stations promote alot... in TZ rural areas will listen to diamond and sing along ... here in kenya villages will only listen to tony nyadundo 🤣no one is giving us something to dance to like the likes of daudi kabaka , les wanyika, riziki etc so its not so much about subsidized data bundles... that's alright but the simple issue is our individuality in regard to tribal affiliation... i dont know why we are struggling to figure that out🤣great analysis regardless
Out music does not have international appeal
Hello Orwa I've heard that there is (or was) a Chinese restaurant in Kenya whose owner does not allow black Kenyans into his premises, kind of like racial discrimination. Could you please look into this?
What is the name of the restaurant?
I loved listening to this I feel blessed with this info

I thought that even without being directed or any guidance whatsoever the pilot should have known that Abarderes and mt.Kenya are somewhere right there before Nairobi and should have just ascended to a higher altitude ... just-thinking
It was the first time for the pilot to fly the route hence the unfamiliarity with the terrain. However, the air traffic controllers should have guided her through the mountains.
If we had this kind of brain running the major ministries or docket in Kenya, we would be ahead of Singapore even by 2020. But the president prefers people like Sudi who see him as a god and hero ... who believes the guy has a genuine Phd....
Thank you for the kind words.

So STRAVA will only track your physical activities if you have the App and turn it on ... most probably Kenyan police-force are not techno savvy or as enlightened as the armed forces mates who sit around in the barracks browsing most of the the times ... the police have their hands full chasing criminals and standing whole day on the dusty roads doing 'that thing
That's correct, Strava only works when the app is turned on. The police also has units that sit around the whole day - GSU.
The intelligence of the Luo human is phenomenal ... no wonder the black African tribes are scared of the Luos.

From a million to 140k,thought u can only loose 25% of the million based on trustee management and capital markets regulations
You can lose everything in an investment.
But of course the men will agree with you
Oh really?
Honestly it is pretty reckless of you to make this statement when data shows different .... femicide has always been there the only poisson event in this case is reporting it or the level of awareness it got ...did this research last yr when I started learning ml...I am quite disappointed in how you handled this...
I think you don't understand what you are saying.
Watching this in 2024, take home message, don't believe expertS!!!!

Thank you. Welcome onboard!
Haiti is an example of recurrent bad lucks; from geography, past colonial master and her leadership. Be that as it may, the legacy of France in her colonies is poverty and pure wanton pillage of resources. Contrast with the Brits.. World over, former British colonies tend to do well.
And then you hear fools in Africa praising communism and fascism..Yet those two have killed more human beings than any war in history....
Well said
The kind of analysis I love to watch.
Cheers!!!

Man too many peoplein Music in Kenya are just about tune but not what makes sense. Ever heard of Mockingbird or Gangstas Paradise? Yeah, nobody in Kenya can do that🤦🏿♂️
This is why Kenyan music does not make international hits
Gengetone is the ultimate untermenschen of music in history. It was not trying too hard to be the dirtiest music ever produced by an African man. It asked for ultimate repression. Orthodox Chants🗿📈📈☦️ Instrumental Phonk 📈📈🔥Darksynth 📈📈🗿Synthwave📈📈🗿 Gengetone 📉📉🤡
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I fully agree.
Thank you
Story telling at its best . 👍
Thank you!
Tanzania have lot of good musicians they are following. They are not following Wasafi only thats why you can see that anomaly. The cost of the bundle is not an obstacle or a catalyst to their decisions just a good musics.
Thank you! Which other artists other than the Wasafi command a large audience?
That Mug is too big Bwana!

Big fan but i feel you left so much points out What is money and what gives it value ? Money only has intrinsic value inside our collective imagination. Ie kenya changed a print for the money and just like that the old currency nolonger has the value it held Talk of gold when the spaniard reached aztec they found the aztec had lots of gold that to them it had no value So how does money /gold got its value worldwide Economist points to supply and demand added with scarcity The scarcity can be real or imagined (like diamonds) And how does bitcoin fit it. Bitcoin just like modern currency has bo value outside our imagination its just computer bits But because of our collective imagination we have given it value , so the demand is high and so does the price go high
I touched a little bit on what is money and what gives it value. Anything can be money as long as humans ascribe value to it
Thanks for posting this report!
You are welcome
your narration is amazing. The quality is great too.
Thank you!
I see you,Mr. Orwa.
I see you too.
As a serial killer myself, I feel that, despite your reports accuracy, the perspective provided by these sentiments will greatly affect my annual conversation rate. Kindly take this down
he he he he he! I like it.
Rather than listen to a long explanation of what a knot is and how it's measured, here's the real reason. The first passenger aircraft were seaplanes. When wheel becamo common the tradition had already been firmly established.
That works too
Mark Twain = 2 knots 🤞
Old English had a masculine and a feminine word for two. The feminine was ‘two’ and the masculine was ‘twain’. On the Mississippi River in the 1800s, people still used the word ‘twain’ and when the depth of the water was checked to make sure that the rope marked the depth of two fathoms, the leadsman’s cry was ‘mark twain’ - literally a mark of two fathoms.
Who's this guy, I need more explanation. I'm very slow 😢 But thank you very much
