Im glad you made a video about these, they're a very great switch and they're even a bit cheaper than other akko switches. They came really smooth stock and sounded better lubed. I was surprised by this one. It also has a blue switch tactile counterpart.
Thanks for the video! I like this switches. I want to order linear switches for my new board. I think between Akko V3 cream and Gateron Milky Yellow, which do you think is better for the same price?
Man, I was asking myself the same thing while doing these tests... lol No I dont change anything... Maybe my plate starting to break in badly after all these tests...
I've never under stood these switch types that have a (basically) standard operating point but then have a substantially shortened bottom out point. I kinda like *not* bottoming out all the time. If the goal was to make my key presses faster overall then both the actuation and bottom out point would be shortened.
Hahah I totally agree with you. I'm in the heavy side of bottoming out, I cant even image dont totally bottom out a key while typing... I think it's more a preference in gaming for faster response.
Have you experienced any interference with these switches on a North Facing LED PCB? Especially with Cherry Profile Keycaps. They should have a long/extended stem pole so...
Thats really up to your personal preferences... Ut any "Silver" switches like Kailh Speed and super speed Silver, Akko silver or Gateron Pro Silver would be great choices for gaming for there short travelling and light spring.
ahah I agree, but there are a huge market around these... So much keyborads, cases, plate etc made for cherry... Hard to make something not compatible with all this market...
I've never used any of the cherry or any other expensive switches, only outemu switches but I've tried few boards with Akko switches and now I can't go back to outemu switches. Akko switches are really really really stupidly too extremely too awesomely good especially for the price tag. And I feel 0 need to try any of the expensive options. at all. Now companies of any kinds, this is how you compete with other competitors.

I was surprised too! But I think the Blue are even better than these!
I love the way you review switches. Awesome job.
Thanks man!

Personally, Cream Yellow are better... Maybe lubing them could make them ever better!
I'm going to put these on my new CIY Gas67, can you do a review on the gas 67 please!! BTW I love how you review switches
Will take a look for this! Thank you! :)
Will there be videos with Kailh Ice Sea and Kailh MX Ice Mint switches?
Interesting, let me take a look for these. Kailh does not provide me switches, so I have to buy them.
@@ClickandThock I forgot to add that Ice Sea's real name is Clione Limacina.
Did you change anything on your Tofu ? It seems to flex more than before :D
Man, I was asking myself the same thing while doing these tests... lol No I dont change anything... Maybe my plate starting to break in badly after all these tests...

These sound GOOD. Now I'm not sure if I should get Cream or Sea Salt for my next keyboard. Been using the Starfish switches since last year.
I personally prefer Sea Salt, but at that price, Cream Yellow are really hard to beat...
I have and love these switches

Have not tested it sorry,...
What are some switches you recommend for osu or competitive gaming?

When are we going to shift away from cherry mx enclosures? It's getting old
