MGF Pre Season Track Day At A Wet Snetterton That Ended With Another Poorly Engine.

A pre season shakedown of the mgf race car after a bran new secondhand engine was fitted. all oil pressures and temps were fine, it just started to make a bit of a bottom end rattle..... wasn't even pushing hard as it was tipping it down and I was on toyo r888r tyres..... also got that misfire back which knackered my old engine at the end of last season, tad enoying after replacing everything that it could be out of precaution.

That's so frustrating new engine new coils same old problem time to get the thinking caps on good luck I know you can overcome this ser back

Oh dear 😢. Maybe get some some data logging on there to monitor afr, fuel pressure etc

That’s frustrating Greg, so I guess that confirms it wasn’t an engine issue causing the problem but where to go from here?
