    • @vi3tra
      @vi3tra ปีที่แล้ว +14

      No that is not for all. Mine started when I was 15 because I got my wisdom teeth out and they left me with a uneven bite. The uneven bite caused me to grind my teeth. I asked them if they could fix it by smoothing the other teeth or something and they said no. Now it is so bad that it pops out of the joint. I can barely touch the joint. My jaw is so tight I sound like I have an accent even though I’m American.

      @@braderley I said I sound like it. When your jaw is as tight as mine is, it's hard to open your mouth and therefore it's harder to say certain vowels or words. My jaw gets to a tension point where it gets stuck and then it has to pop to open the rest of the way. But I can't do it while I talk. So I have a limited amount of space to be able to speak... it's actually common if you get severe TMD.

    I think I found it and in my case, my tmj is still purely cosmetic so I just feel some tightness and for the rest an asymmetric jaw. So yeah, I found this muscle and I felt that it was bigger and stronger/tighter than the left one. The thing that confuses me is that my masseter muscles (and In general my left jaw) are imbalanced oppositely, so the left one is bigger than the right one even though the right side is tighter and that one inner muscle is bigger. My tongue is also bent on the right side, like it gets lower on the right like a slope. I really wanna address this whole stuff mainly cause of insecurities but also because I think that over time it could become a serious issue all combined. If anyone has any advice, I will warmly accept it, please

      @@DarainZahra-nn4ez sorry for the confusion.
      It was NOT a bone. It was a muscle. It was just so tight that it felt like a bone. It was very hard and still and painful to the touch.
      I poked and proded at it until i could close my jaw normally, though it still had a light pop. After a couple of days now it is about 90% well again.
      I feel I am currently at risk of injuring it again. But I will give it rest and continue massaging it until it has been well for a couple weeks

    can it cause sinus pain even if you don’t have jaw pain?

    • @CDankies
      @CDankies ปีที่แล้ว +7

      Yes actually. We see a lot of pt that can manifest sinus problems without much “jaw pain”.
      Sometimes they just have ear pain/congestion and nothing else.
      Sometimes you gotta do a little trial and error.

      This is so crazy I thought I was the only one getting this. My sinus is acting up and when it started acting up my jaw muscle started getting tight and it feels like a flitter feeling or a pop feeling.

      @@staceyazzie : i wanted to wash out my sinuses, i tried a neti-pot a few years ago, but it caused intense pain in my nose and sinuses, so i said screw that.
      all the sprays under the sun did the same.
      oddly enough i fought sone kind of virus a month ago and i was told to gargle because it was in my throat and it was due to post nasal drip.
      so i decided to give the neti-pot a try again but not with saline, i put warm water and a 1/4 teaspoon of colloidal silver. two weeks i’ve bed. doing this and it’s work great.
      still have discomfort while watching but it goes away after a few minutes.
      first warm neti-pot full gets the silver.
      the second warm neti-pot is water only.
      always boil the water, let cool.
      then you can use a glass peanut butter jar to warm it in the microwave for thirty seconds.
      i still have popping in my jaw because of a punch i got as a kid, but my sinuses are obviously not connected to my jaw.
      this has been going on and off for six years.
      i’m really excited about knowing what to do about this sinus pain, and wanted to share.
      it would be great if this helped one person.
      maybe more pro will read this and try it.
      i hope you resolve your pain and fast !!!

      @@CDankies I have been having a sinus infection almost every month for the past 6 months. then the other day my jaw felt weird and I was messing with it and it clicked and SHIFTED like my whole entire jaw and face felt completely different and I can actually breathe a LOT better now and my congestion has gone done but I still have some ear congestion and pain. is that crazy or something that happens? I have been waking up with a sore jaw ever since that day last week now and I keep stretching and shifting it back and forth. Thoughts how to fix?
