My face itches so so much because of sweating. And it gets raw just from dabbing off the sweat. I can't even rub in the skincare in summers. Only max 2-3 products only dabbing. Anything more and skin will irritate even by the serums etc. 😢😢😢😢
@@bandana_rathore Is it possible you are allergic to the dimethicone, which is priming you to itch when sweaty? It’s in loads of serums, moisturizers, sunscreens and hair products. I am sensitive to it and will break out if there’s too much of it in a product.

Thanks for all the great tips. Mid way through the video you mentioned using an anti dandruff shampoo with zinc to deal with folliculitis. BEWARE: Head & Shoulders w/ pyrithione zinc contains Methylisothiazolinone. This chemical is often problematic to people, like myself with sensitive skin and can cause severe rashes. I used to use this product to deal with scalp folliculitis, but the shampoo made the issue worse because of this chemical. It wasn't until I did skin testing at my Derm that I realized I am extremely allergic to this chemical.
Woaw, thanks for sharing this!! I got super bad reactions using Head & Shoulders and I couldn’t figure out what I’m allergic to for the longest time !! Today the mystery is solved ! 😂🙏🙏
I had a bad reaction to head and shoulders after using them for years. Was a horrid burning rash with bumps. I even went back to Johnson and Johnson baby shampoo and also had a horrid reaction with a hot bumpy painful rash. @@elf7355 You may be sensitive to Methylisothiazolinone. A lot of people are. It really surprising H&S would use this chemical in its products considering their product is supposed to help your skin issues

So my daughter has seborrheic dermatitis and she gets a patch on her butt cheek and redness around her nose and eyes. She was on vitamin d3 and the rash went away, she got off d3 and it came back, I believe from what I have seen with my daughter, that d3 can help because of its anti inflammatory properties, it helps with immune. Anyone else have this experience; does science back this up?
I feel so much better when im near the sun. My skin hates winter time, its really difficult to deal with it, it starts to produce more oil on cold weather. No idea why this happens.
I came back to my hometown for sometime, it is humid and hot and as soon as the 2nd week kicked in, I woke up one day with acne on my cheeks and my temples. They are super sore, big and super painful to touch. It's so humid and hot which makes me sweat constantly. I am drinking so much water, using benzoyl peroxide but nothing is working. I know that if I move back to my work location it will get better but for the time being I will be home for another 2 to 3 weeks and I am scared what's going to happen.
Is there a good lightweight tinted sunscreen you recommend? I've been wearing Color Science on your recommendation, it's been great for reducing upper lip melasma. It's heavy feeling though and actually a little too dark for my natural skin tone.
My facial acne flares up in July and August, it even feels more angry and irritated when its really humid. Rinsing with cold water that's been in the fridge helps a bit. Tips for that would be appreciated.

Dr Dray aren’t you in Houston where it is very hot and humid right now? Thanks so much for the details because the heat is very strong right now where I live as well. I hope you are doing ok and as always I’m very grateful for your videos. Is it true that there are sunscreen products that are more effective in Europe than the ones we have in the USA? Also the prickly heat can cause people to erroneously take antihistamines and could they also contribute to drug related heat intolerance? Also can scar tissue on the skin prevent sweating?

I have a question can adult spf be used for kids / toddlers and vise versa? In the UK we have a company called 'Childs Farm' and I use the SPF but hate the texture it is so greasy and thick. Not an issue for the child but for me acne prone and super oily it is horrid.

So far in Nashville, TN it has stayed under 90….not for long though!! Soon it will be ON!! High heat and humidity, I am jealous of milder summer temps!:))
Thank you so mich Dr.Dray
It helps a lot ..from phil..
Dr please answer a question that bugging me for a while.I am new to skin care so help! Where i live it is usually 32 to 40 degrees Celsius so above room temperature so do i need to keep my sunscreen and ordinary serums like salicylic acid ,alpha arbutin, peptide hair serum etc in the fridge or can i just put them in a dark drawer away from sunlight but it will be hotter than room temperature though?what should i do?❤
wow this was wild just fully jumping into how psych meds & diagnoses impacts sweating
I'm very surprised by the info she shared about long sleeves being better in the warm weather. Does anyone know which are the materials she mentioned, which breathe and do that thing with holding back sweat?
Look at all folks living in desserts. Do they wear bikini? No, a long sleeve habit
Linen and cotton.
Baleaf on Amazon has some great options. Affordable, comfortable, and has UPF!
Silk, cotton, viscose, linen.
@@Wtn106 Thank you!
Your videos have taught me so much ❤
Do you know if skin contact with synthetic clothing can be damaging to our bodies?
Hello, I love your videos, I have a question, I hope you read me, I am thinking about buying the coppertone sports spray, do you think it is a good product?
sports sunscreen sprays are a good option! Opt for spf 50 or higher, and make sure when you spray them on you rub it in, and always do multiple passes to ensure there’s no skip areas ❤
@@buckyyyb Thank you so much💕💕✨
Hi my favorite Dr. 🌹
I have a question, what FDA approved at-home laser hair removal device do you recommend?
I am with you on the treadmill!
Thank you dr dray ❤ xx
This is so on point & thorough 🫶 just wanted to check in & say you truly are the skincare 🐐 I share your vids with the MDs in my office & they are also so impressed with your vast range of knowledge & how you manage to efficiently cover all bases without any phony fluff. I wish you’d open a skincare certification school 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽 these are the pearls we need!!
Hi Dr. Dray. What is your opinion about Argan Oil butter balms for overall body moisturuzer.
Oh my god I just realized my adhd meds have been why the entire time I worked at a job that I ended today everyone complained about how hot it was, and I never felt hot. Also people also think I’m crazy for not having my AC on or on high if I do have it on. But I LOVE the heater lol. Damn. It made me hot in AND out😂😅😭
Spending the summer in CO, used to humid climate in the ArkLaTex area. The CO climate while LOVELY temps, is drying my hair and skin! Any recommendations for face and body wash, moisturizers, and shampoo/conditioner? My retinol use every other night may not be doable, as yesterday my face felt tight and sunburned.
I can't stand ACs or fans on me. I love it when it's hot and I love to workout then.
I sweat like crazy, drink plenty of electrolyte water and getting great workouts.
So . . since it will be about 108 F or so inside the plane at take off, and even though we will open the door at 1,000 ft and keep it open until exit altitude at about 13,000 ft, I doubt these are times when skydiving would appeal to you. But, come autumn, Dr Dray, you gotta come out and exit . . you know you want to! Your fav AFFI, Allan
You are not selling it Allan 😂
Great tips and happy Thursday guys xo
Thank you! You too!
If I wear too thick or cream on my face it gets hot and red and irritated. I think it was because it’s warm out!
Greetings Dr Dray hope u r well n 🖐Hello Every1 n Happy Thursday😀n what a Wonderful Vid…. thanks n This is Gonna b so Helpful🔥👍n Continued Blessings to All💜….
Morning!
Happy Thursday Whitney Brown. Hope you're having a lovely day and doing well.
Greetings d b hope u r well n Happy Thursday😀👍💜….
Also can scar tissue on the skin prevent sweating?
do you have any skincare tips for high altitude or travelling back from a high altitude? i always break out when i go to the mountains even with diligent skincare before and during
Happy Thursday Dr Dray…see you tomorrow x💙🤩
Is there an anti dandruff shampoo you recommend with those three ingredients for body wash? I can only find OTC with one of those ingredients and not all three
Something with all three would probably be prescription only and/or expensive. There are salicylic body washes.
Ketakonazole plus zinc pyrithione works very well
@@bandana_rathore have you been able to find one with both?
I have a question can adult spf be used for kids / toddlers and vise versa?
In the UK we have a company called 'Childs Farm' and I use the SPF but hate the texture it is so greasy and thick. Not an issue for the child but for me acne prone and super oily it is horrid.
Derms and pediaticians have said kids of six months and up can use adult sunscreens and Dr Dray and other derms have said adults can use kids skincare products including sunscreens.
Can u pls make suggestions for Picaridin inspect repellant brands that are safe and effective
The brand Off! has products.
Almost Friday! 💜💜💜

Can you just use antiperspirant on hands and feet at bedtime for the sweaty palms and feet?
Hi Dr Dray, can you respond to Dr. Rhonda Patrick’s take on Sunscreen. She expressed concern on safety regarding chemical filter. I knew you have addressed these points before but misinformation always spread fast
Sigh, it's like she and Lab Muffin have to constantly make videos about this. Lab Muffin actually has a recent debunking sunscreen misinformation video.
Gonna buy the sweat block as I deal with the blisters of eczema. So apply it a night if it’s gonna be hot?… should I avoid when I already have the blisters on my palms?
How to tell the differnce between the prickly heat rash and the fungal rash?
Can someone tell me a affordable big sunscreen for face & arms I can use & someone recommends.
Bondi sands o.bttn.io/00UwTe2NY9U
dr Dray can we use retinol
in the
summer at night routine ? thank you
Yes you can but you have to use sunscreen every 2 hours at least, and if you go to reapply after swimming
i think and read the same but some influencers say so, that why i double check with dr .
Thank you!!
Thank you so much for this video! 💙 I live in Dominican Republic where it's hot and humid year round
So, I tried Googling if malasezzia (spelling?) is contagious after you showed images of it. It made me realize that my boyfriend has it, although it's only noticeable when he comes back from the barber (it's in the "5 o'clock shadow area). He is dark skinned, but the affected area(s) are very light
Googling it hasn't clarified if it is contagious by skin to skin contact (kissing, snuggling, oral sex, etc)
Do you think it's a cause for concern? 😬
Question, I recently found a sunblock that reportedly provides blockage for 8 hours by the brand SolRX... would you review this and confirm or deny if it really lasts 8 hours.
No sunscreen can stay stable in sun exposure for that long. It will be a miracle. Esp if skin sweats in between.
@@bandana_rathore it's why I'm asking
Please talk about scabies. I was misdiagnosed for 4 years. Thank you
My face and scalp pour out sweat while the rest of my body doesnt sweat. So embarrassing
For hot weather I was eyeing those UV sun blocks in powder form with a brush. Do they work? Are they effective for topping up a regular cream sun block? Because I thought: cream sun block first, then makeup and then sunblock in powder form for top ups during the day?
