- This is somewhat of a finale of this mini Radahn arc... Because Radahn is optional in Elden Ring, I told myself if I didn't beat him within 3 hours in Elden Ring, I'm leaving. So let's see what happens

@@CoyoteMonday i beat him yesterday at lv81 and it felt kinda easy. He dishes out some serious damage tho. Im using a +7 or +8 (cant remember now) dark kindred greatsword, so maybe i was a bit op? I will fight him again in ng+ with a shittier weapon, i want to feel the struggle!

I love how Afro makes this game feel like anime. We just finished an arc that lasted half the season and I got teary eyed when he won omg.
The editor needs a raise. The moment where he saids "Yeah" the echo was perfect. It captures the pay off you get when you finally beat a souls boss. I love souls games so much.

When the screen went black and white I figured it was over and I'd never see another afro upload ever again, so that uno reverse card he pulled on the meteor attack combo had me LIT.

I love how Afro slowly loses his mind and starts going MAD while fighting the more difficult bosses. Man I love this series. I feel the difficulty REALLY is what makes theses games worth playing (and watching!). Crucible Knight was my favorite boss because you couldn't summon, you couldn't ride your horse, just had to rely on your own skills. What a great battle that was.

Lore fact about Radahn: After his death you see the stars flying across the sky, this is because Radahn was so powerful he was what was holding them all in place. After his death, they began to move again since he was no longer there to hold them and one of these stars falling is the crater that opens up the secret area after his death.

Radan actually cut off his own feet and learned gravity magic because he knew what was happening to him. He knew he would gorge in size and did all of this so he could still ride his horse. If you noticed, he doesn't actually touch his horse. He floats on it. Even in madness, he loved Lenard. The canon name for his horse.

Dude really plays like a raid boss, so to see someone who isn't a die-hard Souls fan solo him without the summons is really impressive! Love your content man!
I killed him on my first try no summons ... It took me like 20 secs and he didn't even run off to the skies to come back as a fireball... I was disappointed... I was lvl 457 and had done everything else in the game and came across him too late... I beat him and finished rannis quest then i went and best elden beast game done

Then I wanted to kill every dungeon or open world roaming boss so i went on and killed every boss in every location following TH-cam for their locations... Then I learned there are 6 different endings and i have to do questlines so i set out to complete every quest from everyone... Tho I cannot do one or two quests like I can't do naphelis cuz i killed her father i guess... She's not at the roundtable and not in albineury village as well... So i did every quest.... Did rannis quest on the very last cuz I wanted to get maiden at the end... When beating maliketh i was dying so i farmed a ton as well... Resulting in me being overpowered for radanh... I was excited to fight him but soon found out he was a glass cannon against me... Took about 10 hits and fell... Unfortunate

You have invincibility frames when mounting/dismounting torrent. Use that when he does those dive attacks that are hard to dodge

Well played, remember after death you need to re-activate your Great Rune. You put it on but you did not activate it, to activate it, use a rune arc from your inventory. It will show the symbol when you have it on but it will glow gold when it is activated with the arc.
You don’t need to re activuthe great tune it stays on once u put it on

You can still have the great rune equipped but unless you use a rune arc it won’t do anything.

About the Great Rune that upgrades all your stats, it's actually only when you then use an item called a Rune Arc. Rune Arcs are like the embers from the Souls games and they last until you die

Just a heads up for you, putting the great run in the slot doesnt activate it but it makes it available to be activated...you need to use a rune arc to actually activate it then it will be glowing in the top left of the hud. it will stay active until you die then you will have to use another rune arc to reactivate it. but any way...hell of a fight i bet that felt amazing to finally kill him.

That ending and using Endwalker's music to seal the deal! The editing, the commentary, everything was perfect! This is why the Sekiro, Bloodborne, Dark Souls and now Elden Ring videos are Goated. the weapon swap to bloodhound step in the last fight was so crucial because in this episode you can clearly see he never successfully dodge the boss's jump attack. He would have died if he was hit . Cool

Hello Afro, Just wanted to tell you that in order to activate a Great Rune you have to use an item called a Rune Arc which can be purcahsed in the Round Table Hold.

like 3 of em can be purchased there yea but other merchants have some too and sometimes you find them randomly.
You can farm them too by invading or helping someone with a boss and if you really badly need some without wanting to do the work you can farm them off of rats.
Not really. You have to go to each Great Rune's respective divine tower to activate it (e.g. there's a Divine tower near Stormveil castle to activate godrick's great rune). Rune Arc only gives a temporary buff across the board, I believe.
Also. Earning Rune Arc consists of cooping through finger or effigy- and completing the boss battle to earn more.

It even explains it in the description of Rune Arcs.
This fr felt like some epic anime fight, the bgm and the “bankai” part made this feel like the finale of an anime.

I always had the impression that the devs probably wanted you to do the summons on your first playthrough. And then after reading all his lore, they expect the player to finally fought him one on one in the next playthrough to give him a TRUE honorable death. I always remember that same feeling after killing Artorias the first time and hearing his backstory afterwards.

My man has been laughed at countless times , for the way he plays the games. But he just beat one of the hardest Souls boss , like an absolute unit. You go Afro , you go man.
He did it melee and without summons so I think he's actually better than most of us watching...

@@PhantomEmperor I'm pretty sure he got nerfed because of people like Afro so vocally complaining when they're trying to solo a raid boss.
@@GermanKinsmen him getting nerfed didn’t even make sense with how busted builds were before . They massively toned down the dmg cause his arrows actually one shot torrent if you try to ride him before, but now doesn’t . I’m gonna be honest if bleed or bloodhound step get nerfed next, which they probably will next patch then idk how this series will go. The godskin duo, malenia, mohg or maliketh will be the next roadblock. He might struggle on rykard for a bit with phase 2 bullet hell, again if bleed and step are nerfed idk what this man will do.
