It's weird how different everyone's experience is in this game. I mean I beat harambe on my third try, but got stuck on seven spears for a good 3 hours. It's really cool.

I been playing sekiro again lately after elden ... I beat this boss pretty easily with firecrackers and interestingly enough if you just run the whole time you can avoid everything and stun lock him slashing and firecrackin before phase 2 ... then the two monkey fight caught me by surprise but was able to come out on top first try .. elden ring somehow finally got me good at this game ... never beat it before and on track to finally beat this shit .... I'm finally on board w this being an s tier from title

Honestly the cave fight is super easy if you know what you're doing. I'll admit, if took me two attempts, but the original fight took me at least 10 tries.

I beat guardian ape in first playthrough,first try with the bell demon on.I was just so frustrated i forgot to turn it off(i beat him only cuz i saw shitload of the boss fight videos and knew the attack pattern,though nothing went the way like in the videos).I think im proud.

Sir Cxpalot the 3rd Bro I feel you. This boss is really annoying; I got to it last night but after a few attempts it was pretty late so I just went to bed. I have the demon bell on, but I’m not taking that thing off; I’ve sacrificed too much to keep it on (I spent like 3 hours trying to kill Genichiro last night with demon bell on without any of the skills from the Ashina style skill tree; was literally so close so many times but I’d get killed by shit RNG and AI that I just gave up and grinded skill points for ascending and descending carp and beat him on my first go once I got the skills).

Just beat four bosses yesterday, ape included. And let me tell you that the ape made me more depressed than angry. I just felt like shit after failing the 1st phase so many times. I was grabbed and dunked so many times that it hurt.
