No they are not I beat him in 5 tries after the nerf and then when the nerf was revoked on my second playthrough it took me 60 fucking tries! They nerfed him BIG time
@@jameslough6329 honestly seeing this clip I think his damage is similar to pre patch. Like the dude said the rock sling tracking was reduced that was it. Radahn seems easy because most people over level the fuck out of their characters while using a structured build whereas in most peoples first playthrough they didn’t have a build and their stats were mostly all over the place or their vigor was super low. I’d struggle with Radahn to this day if I had similar skill and the same build as when I first started playing

My friend, the hitboxes made complete sense pre-patch, he is a big boss, and his animations hive the impression his hits would have shockwave damage, not to mention it's the only way a boss as big as him would be able to actually hit you with most attacks if you don't dodge, they could have just added visible shockwaves to his attacks like Godfrey and it would have been ok. And the meteor phase transition is now a joke as it almost never hits even if you stand still, and the rock sling he does which made half of phase2's difficulty is now also a joke. The guy got robbed of many of his features that made him challenging and intimidating and you say people exaggerate.
I don't play Soulslike games anyway because of the general difficulty that is a part of the package, but I'm sympathetic to the people that had a more difficult version of a badass boss fight stolen from them because some people couldn't GET GUD. Or maybe not, after all, looking at some comments about the difficulty. 🤷♂️

Fought Radahn January this year(2024), and seeing this made me realise how badly people exaggerated this boss. He ain't all what people said he was....like he was the final boss or something. Though he moves slightly, and I mean SLIGHTLY faster than the current Radahn, he's still not that strong. The older players made us think we missed something big😂
For killing general radahn it took me 3 hours, and i bought the game like a month ago. I did 200 or something to him, and i think i was in a good level, i mean, people have to understand that if u do a super powered class u will not feel anithing even with radahn😅
@@proseccod.o.c6213 My man 200 damage on radahn is pretty low you should be doing close to that much on godrick unless you mean per hit and was using fast weapon, even leaving all that radahn gives ridiculous amount of openings to exploit him like jumping off his horse and even after doing the meteor attack, it's insane I almost skipped most of his 2nd phase but you probably already completed the game by now and realised this.
I soloed him recently and I gotta say it was way more epic summoning a massive team to take him down. I like the challenge of fighting him solo but it was definitely less fun.

Well for most people, and no doubt that radahn is hard, but the biggest reason as to why that was the case was because so many people fought him under leveled. Because Caelid is the area that is right next to limgrave.
@@chet822 also melee builds suck and few people would have access to good spells, if you can keep your distance and dish out damage (even if its not a lot) he's very easy
I can confirm he's not that hard, people just suck. The melee discourse is proof of that. If you stick close to him, preferably right under him and sometimes behind his horse, most of his attacks are going to miss you. First time beating him was around lv40 no summons, Dagger only
Nah bro it was hard, i beat him with the great greatsword at early days, but come on if you are the kind of players that play souls game with only dagger at his first playtrough obiously you wont be having a bad time since i assume u have played the previous games over 2000 hours

@@fvenateafork After watching many playthroughs I've come to the conclusion that many people tried to kill Radahn too early/with too little HP. After all the talk about him I got scared and I only tried him after I cleared out all of Limgrave, Liurnia and Caelid and I accidentally obliterated him with the Bloodhound's Fang on my first try even without summoning anyone. I think it's best to fight him when you are around level 60.
@@valentinvas6454 with a bloodhounds fang like half upgraded witch is very possible when you find radahn. and even if you're only level 1. he goes down in like 10 fully charged heavy's. he isn't as tough as people made it out to be. he is supposedly the same now as he was pre nerf. i never faught him pre nerf so i couldn't tell you.
People don't realize that after a boss kicks your ass for an hour and later you fight him again in another playthrough the fight gets way easier.
Thats because after you learn his attacks and attack windows the fight becomes easier

The only things that have changed are some of the whacky aoe hitboxes and the speed of the meteors. People are exaggerating the extent of the nerf.

basically, the nerf is no nerf. Never ever did FS nerfed a boss, especially an optional one like radahn.
