Can i suggest something to add to first rides, maybe a rolling shot so we can see your riding posture etc on the bikes, just a 5 second shot would be enough. Just a thought. Otherwise, keep up the good work.
To ease the fact you're by yourself on the first rides, I was thinking maybe using the drone... I have no idea how else you would pull off a shot like that on your own, but I do know it would be sick and add a nice twist to your first rides if you managed it.
+chaseontwowheels I think it needs to be shot by another person, literally just someone standing on a footpath and filming you ride past would do. It needs to be off the bike, because otherwise we can't see your body in the full context of riding the bike.
I bought my MT-10 about 4 weeks ago. I had to see your reaction to the thing. It is mental! 2000km on mine at present and it is winter here in Australia and I am only riding on weekends at the moment. But an absolute blast. Enjoy it when you get yours man!
Your MT09 first first ride vid was my favourite, so much it tipped me over that edge of is it the right bike for me and well i bought it and i LOVE it so much, now this video i have had a smile the whole time and i hope i get the opportunity to test ride here in Aus some day. Ride safe and stay upright broski!!!
Best first ride in a while chase, perfect sound, perfect video quality you nailed it :) but now you have to do an s1000r, and have a comparative with the fz10. Ride safe man great job!!
Saw this bike the other day at mountain motersports in achworth fit me perfect being only 5'5" and came home to look up videos on it and yours was the first one. Never thought the first video i saw would be so close to home
Chase , your videos have higher quality than most companies do , keep doing whatever you are doing because whatever you are doing is great. Great job Chase
Just went down to my local dealer and sat on one. It really isn't that fat, was very surprised how small it was actually. I've owned an FZ-09 since they were first released and it felt very similar, just a tad bit more beefy and really felt balanced. The only problem I have is my dealer charges almost $1000 for it being shipped to them and another near $1000 to build it. So the sticker jumps up to $14,900!!! This seemed like a great buy at $12.9 but at $14.9 I'm just not too sure.
LoL, last year I saw your famous FZ-09 vid and I fell in love with that bike after seen your video. I sold that bike last week just to get one of these beast (after seeing this review) :D
I got to test ride one of these at my dealer. Bike is absolutely crazy. I would have a hard time riding it to its potential with riding in town being the majority of my riding. Love the bike but it made me appreciate my fz07 a lot more.
Just picked up a new FZ-10 3 day's later i have passed 350 mile mark. only con i have found is the exhaust is a little quiet ( sounds great tho ). love that i can cruse in 6th and barley twist the throttle at 45 and jump to 80 with out it feeling bogged down. is my 4th Motorcycle but first i have rode in 6 years. in std mode traction 3 bike is quite tame up to 6k rpm after that your asking for it. 2nd past 25mph on year old black top the trac light blinks at you non stop and you can feel the system tweeking the throttle up and down a bit to maintain traction and keep the rubber on the road... the short of it the bike is a extreme machine lots of torque all over at any speed and as of yet when asked i tell every one it's that machine from the factory that makes you question if you need any more power. Side note the throttle is quite fidgety when trying to roll along in stop go traffic below 5mph ( idle speed verge of killing engine ). last cycle was a hopped up ninja 750 that had more top speed than this by far but i would not suggest this cycle to any one that has not experienced a cycle that will struggle with traction at 50mph / power wheelie at 70mph
Those Buell's man, if you want one you'd better grab it quick, they're out of business now and I'll beg good money they will be super expensive collectibles in 10-15 years.
+Louis Bunnell I'm deadset reading an article in a magazine right now (Motorcycle Trader) that's singing the praises of the 1125R, I don't know what the CR version is like compared to that but if it's remotely similar then I'd get onto that one you're looking at soon.
The R1S and R1 are exactly the same with the exception of heavier materials to cut on cost. As said, the difference in weight between the two is 9lbs. A weight difference that the everyday rider is NEVER going to notice. All of the important stuff is the same. Same cross plane motor, same killer electronics package. The R1S is around $2k cheaper for an additional 9lbs. R1S>R1
I love how excited you are and you're not even in the twisites. I came to you tube to look at the Mt10 as someone commented somewhere they were dumping it for a husky nuda 900
+bmw s1000rr Bit of a Frankenstein's monster, really: I'm pretty sure the front end & tank came off a YZ, the injection system is completely removed, the seat's a DIY recover, the levers are mismatched, and ALL the electrical outside the magneto & ignition is off eBay from China. But the frame and engine numbers match, and they're correct for a 1978 DT250E, so that's what I'm calling it. My previous front-runners for a NEW bike were the FZ-07 or NC700, though my most likely course is still an old XS650, with a smaller KZ or CB as secondary choices. My dad would have me on an old T120 or TR6, but between the price and the control differences I'm not so fond of the idea.
+bmw s1000rr It's actually a real pain sometimes. eBay and all, I've put enough into it to have just bought a bike that didn't need work and I'm not even done yet. Broke a spoke last week and replacements are absolutely ridiculous since they're uncommon anymore & only sold as sets. I also have a leaky fork, need new tires, OUGHT to change my sprockets instead of just flipping them . . .. So ANOTHER $400 or so before I'll feel comfortable about riding her again. And I just got a new mesh jacket for summer!
Same here. I got the FJ-09 as my first bike, that was before this came out. I'm glad this wasn't out yet, I'm not sure what I would do to the space-time continuum if I bought one of these.
The Standard Mode gives a smooth feeling to the engine character throughout the entire rpm range, and is designed for use in a variety of riding conditions. ‘A’ Mode delivers a sportier engine character in the low to mid speed ranges for added excitement and enjoyment, while ‘B’ Mode delivers a milder response and is designed to be used in situations where more sensitive throttle use is appropriate - such as slippery surfaces or congested streets.
So will you just finally get this bike already. You said its your dream bike and now that you've ridden it and love it what's stopping you? Spend some of your TH-cam money and treat yourself. You deserve it man!
Just as an aside, you were saying about the scoops 'keep me cool!' But they're actually feeding into the airbox for aspirating the engine, the radiator is lower and more central.
I'm not a big fan of the looks. (my personal taste of course) I'm drawn to clean lines and angles and this just has way too much going on. I'm sure it's an awesome bike though.
I don't like how they put the signal and break lights out on a little stick like the are going to fall off. Just stick them on the back of the bike where they belong. Everyone seems to love riding it though.
Your 5'10 and can barely flat foot it?.. I'm 5'8 29" ?leg length thing? And I can flat foot an fz10 comfortly. I've never ridden one but I sat on one and by god I want it
First time watching your video and i Really loved the way you talked in it and now It’s been 6 years now! I really hope you bought it now and enjoyed the hell of it!!!!!
I bought my fz10 in April this year, standard mode is pretty soft, but it's got a ton of power still. I can get it to power wheelie in third, and in fourth it will with a tug of the handle bars. I've you've never ridden before, I'd recommend something smaller just to get comfortable with riding first. I found a nice beginner bike on Craigslist for $700.
all these people saying a liter bike is to powerful for begginers are full of shit it's all about self control and that's it I started on a liter bike and I haven't crashed in 3 years why? Because I'm not stupid
I can barely tippy toe this bike but I love it so much. I’m going to buy one in a week or so. I’m hoping with my riding boots it’ll be a little better.
Man I love your videos. Your goofy sounds and comments about cars and stuff you get by on the road make me laugh hard.. Keep em coming. Cheers from Argentina!
It's to my understanding they haven't sold them in the US for a long time. The 08 I sat on was way too big, I don't see how it would be fun to ride. It's huge like a busa...except it's naked which would make it suck at higher speeds. I've never understood the B-king.
WatchThisPlay it's literally just a naked busa, hence the name "B-king" (busa-king etc). But.. it felt big while sitting on it? It's not very wide or tall in the seating area.. but I guess it will look VERY fat from the tank and forward
WatchThisPlay Hahaha 10ft-tank! The bike is an insane idea, the notion of "hyper-naked" bikes in general is.. but I guess it's one of those "because we can" things, but a lot of folks get them for touring, which still puzzles me a bit
Suzuki stopped producing the B King in 2008, but because they didn't sell well at all you can still find brand new 2008 models for around $8k. I know from personal experience that there is a very nice one for sale at WOW motorcycles on Cobb Pkwy. They are super cool bikes, but they really are huge. very tall and very wide.
Because Yamaha is obsessed with the qualities of sound. When Toyota went to them to design the engine and exhaust for the lfa. Yamaha made a completely new design just for the sound
Because after the devastation Japan had suffered during WWII, the country was in financial ruins and it's citizens struggled just to be able to make necessary purchases, and spoiling themselves with unnecessary purchases like the pianos Yamaha had always been renowned for was either seen as extremely unwise, or for most people, completely impossible. With the market crashing to a halt and sales hitting a brick wall, Yamaha faced a swift and certain economic death. In an attempt to keep the company alive, they made the decision to re-purpose the remains of the company's war-time production machinery and began production on something that the people WOULD buy; Something that they would need and also be affordable for even the poorest of the country's citizens... cheap transportation... motorcycles. Their first production model (the YA-1) was introduced in 1954 and was so successful that Yamaha decided to create a separate, dedicated division; The Yamaha Motor Company. That is why the Yamaha motorcycle company's logo features 3 tuning forks. And as they say, the rest is history.
I cant stand that bikers freak out, whine and cry when cars go into the biker's lane to pass them, but bikers do it ALL the time, and it's perfectly fine
I rode this bike on a demo ride...I love it! I have a 28 inch inseam, it fit awesome. I absolutely love it. It really is comfortable with cruise control. Being short, I cant find many bikes that fit me very well. I seem to "have to make do" with mostly everything else, not this time. This will hopefully be my next/second bike. Never thought Id want a liter bike...
Glad you like it Chase! Good to see people getting more and more into the supernaked class of bikes. Can't go wrong with tourque and usable power. Had mine since June and it's a proper beast, can't see myself getting tired of that gem of an engine ever. And of course in the same colours, the black is cool and all but the grey and neon (Night fluo) just fits it so well. Akra exhaust, tail tidy and some other bits underway aswell :) Cant wait to really unleash the crossplane sound!
Welcome to the life of us naked bike riders! Made for tearing up the streets! Super Sports are super cool and I respect what they can do, but lets face it... they're designed for track conditions to get the most out of them. Naked and standards in general are designed to daily life on the street. Instant torque and grins, the perfect combo for the street! Just my opinion of course... thank you for the first ride man, this is the bike i'm most excited for... maybe even enough to leave my beloved Z1000..
+3 Bones I couldn't say it better man. I want to do a video on this because these peeps that are starting ridding need to know where the real street fun is.
Though I must admit, this line of thinking seems to be kind of a newer thing for you. If I remember correctly in the past you were quite the super sport advocate. Like I said, they still rock, but for the street, sometimes a bit overkill. God I so want this bike! LOL ;)
I'm currently riding a cbr 954rr and love it to death, but i agree nakeds are where its at for street riding. ill always love sport bikes, but i want to be more comfortable and get a bike that makes more sense and does everything well. FZ-09 will be my next bike, then maybe one of these in a couple years
Can i suggest something to add to first rides, maybe a rolling shot so we can see your riding posture etc on the bikes, just a 5 second shot would be enough. Just a thought. Otherwise, keep up the good work.
This is a very clever and useful idea. Well done, mate, hope C2W notices it.
+ScotchNTheRocks when you say rolling shot I think follow car. Would go pros on the bike help what your asking for?
That is a brilliant idea
To ease the fact you're by yourself on the first rides, I was thinking maybe using the drone... I have no idea how else you would pull off a shot like that on your own, but I do know it would be sick and add a nice twist to your first rides if you managed it.

I think it needs to be shot by another person, literally just someone standing on a footpath and filming you ride past would do. It needs to be off the bike, because otherwise we can't see your body in the full context of riding the bike.
Yamaha has been just killing it with their bikes the last couple of years!!!
The FZ 10 is an awesome bike! I saw it at WSBK and fell in love. I haven't seen +JoeGo101 FZ 10 yet but he loves it too. Awesome video.
+650ib thanks man!
Chase, i just test drove one. Your joy brings tears of joy to my eyes remembering that ultimate drive.
15:00 The sound of joy . I need to get a licence like right now.
Regan got it yet?
Got it yet?
Get it yet?
I test rode the MT-10 myself last Saturday and ordered one on Monday. This is that good of a bike. Do it Chase, you know you want to.
Notification popped up said chase and fz-10..have to watch this 😱
Welcome to the notification squad!
+bmw s1000rr hi brother
+bmw s1000rr we have something in common...
+bmw s1000rr or the r....btw cheaaa
I bought my MT-10 about 4 weeks ago. I had to see your reaction to the thing. It is mental! 2000km on mine at present and it is winter here in Australia and I am only riding on weekends at the moment. But an absolute blast. Enjoy it when you get yours man!

I love that sound. That and the Aprilia. Those two have the best sounding engines in any naked bikes available. I really enjoyed this video.
Best first ride in a while chase, perfect sound, perfect video quality you nailed it :) but now you have to do an s1000r, and have a comparative with the fz10. Ride safe man great job!!
sell the r6 and get this damn bike now
Daduq keep the r6 and get this bike
Even better
+daddyfatsack68 way better than an r6 especially cuz r6 power is so Damn high so why would some want r6 after riding this
Zaryab B because r6 is sexy af, lighter and at higher speeds more stable
raven 1 most bikes are sexy asf, and the lightness doesn’t warrant keeping the r6 around.
I picked up the 2016 fz-09 two months ago. It's a dream! Maybe I'll get one of these once I turn 25. :D
So when you going to get yours....... :D...... Im still breaking mine in so I havnt had as much fun as you had in this video yet ;) LOL
Saw this bike the other day at mountain motersports in achworth fit me perfect being only 5'5" and came home to look up videos on it and yours was the first one. Never thought the first video i saw would be so close to home
650ib said you can test ride his h2 in his last video, everyone like this comment so chase will see it!
I was just going to tell him that lol. Glad i looked to see if anyone else was going to mention it. JoeGo seemed to love it.
+KoukiGuy 240 yeah bro, 260+rwhp while super charged, and on a motorcycle that weighs south of 300lbs...what is there to no like Lol
yep chase should do it
Hope he reads the post because I'm not sure if he subs 650ib
Good thing Ib has a bunch of bikes because chase will probably crash the H2
Chase , your videos have higher quality than most companies do , keep doing whatever you are doing because whatever you are doing is great. Great job Chase
props for sound levels! thank you for taking my criticism in a positive way!
if you're ever in the montreal (canada) area, hit me up!
+charlie0801 no problem man. I enjoy criticism. It makes your work better!
Not everybody see's it that way, unfortunately :D
that sound was the fuel pump getting the fuel preasure up to 40 or so psi. the FZ-10 is my dream bike also. sick af
"Its short and fat"...."Like me" LMAO
what one
Wish I could high five you
+9enius who me
Just went down to my local dealer and sat on one. It really isn't that fat, was very surprised how small it was actually. 5:38 ;)
from now on, this is my channel of choice. I love the FZ's. I got myself a FZ16 @ mylove
LoL, last year I saw your famous FZ-09 vid and I fell in love with that bike after seen your video. I sold that bike last week just to get one of these beast (after seeing this review) :D
You're just at the tip of the excitement in case of fz 09 and fz10. I saw both. Really appreciate it,dude
My first thought when I saw it in the store; Damn, it looks like a transformer
A decepticon is a transformer.
+Janis Akcicek which is still a transformer
Haha chill dude, I just said what I thought when I first saw it. But I think Decepticon fits better. No biggie
I've been eyeing this bike for a little bit now. I think it might just be the next bike I get.
So when you signing the papers for one?
Figuring that time out with the lady now
+chaseontwowheels I love your vids bro keep up the awesome mptovlogs
+chaseontwowheels why did you say (like me) when you said short and fat
did you guys ever dual-vlog together?
haha ;D
Man!!! Your B-Roll is on point. One of my favorite things about the "First Ride" videos!!
Can you PLEAAAASE ride the S1000R?
Already a video dude, it was actually a recent one that was another motovloger 's bike
+Spenc Supermoto that was the S1000RR, the S1000R is the naked version.
+Spenc Supermoto Nope, that was the BMW S1000RR!!
would love to see a review of this bike
Agreed. A ride with the S1000R woudl be awesome. Please upvote this comment so Chase will see it!
Patiently waiting on one of these manufacturers to hire you to film the introduction to their new bikes.
Talented my man
Never noticed how small the rear wheel looks on the bike :/ Got a slight diavel look that I'm not a fan of. Still want some seat time on one though!
I got to test ride one of these at my dealer. Bike is absolutely crazy. I would have a hard time riding it to its potential with riding in town being the majority of my riding. Love the bike but it made me appreciate my fz07 a lot more.
Yeah good luck with those passenger footpegs. On my FZ-09 they were apparently torqued down by King Kong.
TeamVelocity ikr 😂☠️ I drilled those fuckers out lol
God damn I'm laughing so much xD
@TeamVelocity Commented 2 years ago and still making people laugh! LOLOL!!! I just pulled my rear pegs...too true!!
helloman1976 3 lol
My fz10s werent bad
Side note the throttle is quite fidgety when trying to roll along in stop go traffic below 5mph ( idle speed verge of killing engine ).

you need to get your habds on a 09 buell 1125CR and reveiw it for me! also a harley davidson Night Rod! let me know what you think
Would love to see a night rod.
Those Buell's man, if you want one you'd better grab it quick, they're out of business now and I'll beg good money they will be super expensive collectibles in 10-15 years.
+Eliot Metherell they are going for superrrrrr cheap. im lookin at a 09 1125cr with 1800 miles on it for 5500obo
+Louis Bunnell
I'm deadset reading an article in a magazine right now (Motorcycle Trader) that's singing the praises of the 1125R, I don't know what the CR version is like compared to that but if it's remotely similar then I'd get onto that one you're looking at soon.
+Eliot Metherell tge R and the CR are almost identical. CR is the cafe racer or Naked bike
Holy Cow! that is a killer bike! Thanks for riding it for us!
I know you've done the R1 already, but I'd like to see the R1S, love the vids btw.
It's basicly the same bike. Just different materials used to make it cheaper. The only downside is that it's slightly heavier than the standard R1
By 9lbs.
Capt Flea ^ Yup. Absolutely negligible. I shit about 9 lbs every morning so that about equates to the same as riding a regular R1 :D
The R1S and R1 are exactly the same with the exception of heavier materials to cut on cost. As said, the difference in weight between the two is 9lbs. +1Smoking Lizard I can't promote that kind of behavior (gives you an under the table high five)
chaseontwowheels lol👍
You have make your own fun time.
1Smoking Lizard join the swlf employeed life work for yourself break when u want bike when you want
Awesome test ride video. This bike has everything I like in a bike. The looks, the height, the power. The only thing I'd add is a windshield.
Chase, you seemed to love this bike so much.... so why did you decide against getting one for yourself???
Dude, I love your opening video shoots of just the bike! They are always so beautiful. Keep up the good work!
If I have this bike, i'll call it "Johnny 5." :P
I ride an FZ-07 and its a light fun bike. I now have to test this new FZ-10. Awesome video man. Thanks!
Chase on Straight Roads
That is a beautiful bike! I'm with you, Chase. The gray with yellow wheels is gorgeous!!
Try the MV Agusta Brutale 800 that bike is nuts and crazy sensitive
The Muscle Biker meh gorgeous bike but a bit unrefined. Typical mv
Looks absolutely stunning from every angle. God DAMN Yamaha!
For the first time in my life I actually want a liter bike. What the hell are you doing to me?
+bmw s1000rr Bit of a Frankenstein's monster, really: I'm pretty sure the front end & tank came off a YZ, the injection system is completely removed, the seat's a DIY recover, the levers are mismatched, and ALL the electrical outside the magneto & ignition is off eBay from China. If BumbbleBee was a bike :D
Charlie Football Nah, it's HotShot.
Shadowsoken affirmative
Tom Brady #Tbreezy #12Hunnit #GOAT Nah this is if Starscream was a bike. The headlights especially remind me of his eyes.
Delaney Richardson ya possibly
Charles צ'ארלס named my MT 09 bee.. someone gets it!!
So will you just finally get this bike already. You said its your dream bike and now that you've ridden it and love it what's stopping you? Spend some of your TH-cam money and treat yourself. You deserve it man!
love that bike, and I'm 48 lol. Damn bro you're lucky.
Tom Hockenberry a 48 year old who still thinks it's the 1800s
I work at the Yamaha motorcycle production factory in Japan and I see this motorcycle being made every weekday!
How do I apply to be the the film guy that records Chase riding the bike for a third person experience?
+TJTheRager you can send your application to chaseontwowheels@gmail.com
Just as an aside, you were saying about the scoops 'keep me cool!' But they're actually feeding into the airbox for aspirating the engine, the radiator is lower and more central.

Buy the bike you will enjoy it even more, I do. Got myself an MT-10 2 months ago. only smiles behind my dark visor.
Japanes bike so nice!!!!
I love it :D
I bought that bike after watching your review! Great motorcycle! Now I understand why you have so much fun on it!

Yassine EL AZMI don't worry it was just steve
WHERES THE LAMB SAUCE lol
I haven't watched you in a while, wow you have become much more professional
+chaseontwowheels could this bike pass as a beginner bike in the lowest power mode or is it just too powerful?
I have a 2001 fz1 as my first bike and I'd say it definitely is possible once you have self control
I bought my fz10 in April this year, standard mode is pretty soft, but it's got a ton of power still. I can get it to power wheelie in third, and in fourth it will with a tug of the handle bars. He is trying to work with people Consciousness
Man I love your videos. Your goofy sounds and comments about cars and stuff you get by on the road make me laugh hard.. Keep em coming. Cheers from Argentina!
Now it's obligatory for you to somehow find a way to do a first-ride of a Suzuki B-king, it's bound to happen!
The tank on that thing is ten foot while lmao.
Def my next bike. It makes me all tingly and happy inside.
What do you use to pin point and drag off information?
"LED LIGHTING"
"r1 crank shaft same as r1"
My brother in law had the FZ09, those bikes are sick!
Ey, vp lol Everybody check out his last couple vids
yo yo! haha fancy meeting you here :)
How does the MT-10 compare to the Z1000?
Foxy Moto for me "for me" the yamaha is way beter
I don't even own or know how to ride a bike and I still love watching he's vids... Someday I will, someday 🙂

"You guys know I like everything black"
Absolute dream bike right there.
the fz09 looks way better
I'm not even a Yamaha guy and I am wanting this bad boy. So sick looking.
I've never understood why Yamaha makes music shit and then motor cycles like wtf
Max ******* ?
Aaron Machado and the 2jz... and to the orig poster it’s not shit lol Yamaha makes some of the best grand pianos in the world 😅😅
This guy loves what he does, I like that.
Akra exhaust, tail tidy and some other bits underway aswell :)
Cant wait to really unleash the crossplane sound!
the wheelie king, I can wheelie my FZ09 pretty well I can't imagine what that bike must be like .... wow!!!
The power seems smooth and readily available.
I still love this bike.
just bought my Fz 10, changing up from a cbr500. amazing bike.
When the camera moves to the the headlights
*DONT LOOK AWAY MOTHER LOVE ME LOOOOOOVE MEEEE*
Finally somebody that knows how to say Akrapovic correctly. Thank you.
Fz 10 is my dream bike.
I love how excited you are
You deserve a like just for the amazing editing of your intros
wow, with the gray/cement color, BEAUTIFUL!
Yup have been waiting for this since I saw the photos last year.
FZ-09 will be my next bike, then maybe one of these in a couple years
I think you will be stoked with the functional torque of a naked! Just my 2 cents!
OMG yes!! that machine looks amaaazing. not sure it warrants the massive price jump from the FZ09 but shes a beast no doubt!
I like how you snuck "LIKE ME" in there at 5:38 😂😂
Love the new bike intro with highlights
who agree this is the most proper review or first ride of the yamaha fz/mt-10 out there?
one of the best explained mt 10 gizmos thumbs up never knew it has a lighter as well
amazing
