Do you know what I love about this doctor already? He actually gave the remedies, the causes and every little detail about it and we didn't have to watch two hours worth of worthless video where the people are writing out all the words they speak and then at the end you have to pay for the information. Thank God and thank you Dr. Berg. I appreciate you.

PLEASE READ: I have a couple skin tags but I only tried this on one of them so I wouldn’t have to put the effort into multiple. Just like he said, it dried up, hardened, and fell off. Here are the most important things to remember in my opinion:
    1. Cue tips -> initially I tried mixing and applying with my finger, which did not work NEARLY as well. A pack of 500 cue tips is $3, if you don’t have any just BUY THEM as they are well worth it. You can mix more precisely and apply it more accurately.
    2. I found that my garlic was juicier when I left it OUT of the fridge. I would squish it first which would leave a puddle of garlic juice that I would put 1 singular drop of povidone iodine (costs about $17 but I did the research and this guy is right, it’s the best stuff you can get) into and then try to mix together an area where it was about 50/50 iodine/garlic. Then apply and put the bandaid on it overnight.
One last thing I will note is that it CAN be a little itchy but nothing that will harm you. Good luck all🙏🏼

5:00 What you need to do about skin tags? You need to fix insulin resistance as well as estrogen dominance if you have that problem but chances are it's more of an insulin resistance problem. The solution is starting the healthy version of the ketogenic diet as well as intermittent fasting to make sure they don't come back after you get rid of them.
5:22 The best remedy for skin tags and warts: Povidone iodine and garlic juice: put two drops of said iodine in a little container and then crush fresh garlic to get a couple drops of garlic and mix them together, then take a little cotton swab, put it directly on the skin tag or wart then put a Band-Aid or tape over it. You're going to apply the same mixture twice a day. Keep the mixture in the fridge.
7:00 The next day, toss out the mixture you made the day before and make a fresh batch. Couple drops of iodine, couple drops and fresh garlic juice and you're good to go.
7:32 You keep repeating it for up to two weeks.
7:40 Other things that can also help: Zinc oxide, apple cider vinegar, oregano oil, but the best results are achieved with garlic and iodine.
7:52 If the first remedy doesn't work: Salicylic acid or crush an aspirin up and put the aspirin topically within some water and then put a Band-Aid on it, or use an ancient plant you can get as a remedy called celandine (fresh would be better) you pick one of the stems and you'll notice there's this oozing fluid out of the stem and you would put it topically, then put a Band-Aid.
    Thank you Dr. Berg

Result: skin tag remained, healthy skin was affected badly after 2/3 days (yes, tried to cover healthy skin with vaseline). However.... keto diet combined with fasting is clearly doing the trick... skin tags almost gone.

This is fantastic! I had a small wart on my middle finger for many years, and it was quite annoying, sometimes quite painful to touch. I tried this solution last week. I used Betadine Antiseptic which contains a small percentage of iodine. I found it difficult to get much juice from my garlic clove, so I sliced it open and rubbed it over the wart, then put a little drop of the Betadine, and a thin slice of the garlic on top. Then used a band aid to hold it in place. I did this twice a day for about 3 days. After that I stopped, and the wart completely disappeared a few days later. So happy 😃

Interesting. This makes a lot of sense to me. 2 things. One, I had warts on my feet from the time I was 15 until I was 42. At that point I discovered that I was allergic to gluten and went gluten-free. My warts disappeared after about 3 months. The second item is that about 5 years ago I started Intermittent Fasting for a number of reasons. One being to drop my triglycerides and two to loose belly fat. Both happened within 6 months. I also noticed a year later that many of the skin tags on my sides near my chest disappeared. I do notice now that when I eat too much sugar (cheating for a few days) I get a skin tag or 2. It takes a few months for them to go away. Thank you Dr. For all you videos and guidance!

After I turned 36 this year and after a surgery that robbed all my muscle mass, atrophied me and forced me to learn to walk again-I am suddenly putting fat on my hips butt and lower belly under my belly button. I’ve always been tall and slim and I don’t feel healthy about it. I’ve wanted to try intermittent fasting but I am hypoglycemic and don’t want to faint. I’ve been wanting to do a juice cleanse but again, worried I’d have to take the week off work in order to not risk fainting.

Great advice - thanks. I use vinegar to remove warts and skin tags and it works great. I have also used vinegar to remove big moles. It takes about a week of daily applications. Just dab the mole with a que tip and vinegar, put a band-aid over it before you go to bed and then take it off in the morning. I usually spread a small amount of Vaseline on the skin surrounding the mole first before I put vinegar on the mole because the vinegar will aggravate the surrounding tissue if you don't and cause discomfort. Band-aids and Vaseline don't get along so don't put too much. I use a que tip to put on a very small amount of Vaseline accurately.
I've seen people walk around with a huge distracting mole on their face for decades - one week of household vinegar, que tips and some band-aids and it would be gone. I took a mole off right next to the corner of my eye that my dermatologist didn't want to tackle because it was so close to my eye. The removal was simple and safe using vinegar . The worst that could happen is that you get a little bit of vinegar in your eye. And if you do, just rinse and flush your eye until the vinegar is gone. Be sure to use only a low percentage solution of vinegar ( 8%). Vinegar does come in a higher percentages of concentrated solutions - Higher concentrations of vinegar will burn a deep hole in you because it's a highly reactive acid that can eat skin in seconds - don't use it.

It was small (1-2 mm) and a bit darker than the skin around it, so I thought it was a mole and never bothered. Yet recently I noticed it started growing and realized it was actually a skin tag. I used iodine on it (didn't risk to add garlic since I'm allergic) - twice a day, for a week, 14 applications exactly. It's gone! It shrank, withered and fell off, leaving a little sore that healed in a couple of days.

I can't say it was painless since after a week I felt redness, swelling and fluid formation in the warts. I got little anxious if if should be using this traditional Indian method or not. But it worked wonders! It left No scars. Traditionally it is recommended to tie it with 0:08 horse hair. Since I didn't have that available, I used same trick with regular threads.

The best natural remedy for skin tags and warts:
    • Mix two drops of povidone-iodine with a couple of drops of garlic juice. If you don't want to use garlic, you could try using zinc oxide, oregano oil, or apple cider vinegar.
    • Using a cotton swab, put the mixture directly on the skin tag or wart, and then put a bandaid or tape over it.
    • Keep the mixture in the refrigerator to keep it fresh, and apply the remedy twice a day for up to two weeks. Make a new, fresh mixture each day.
If you don’t see any changes, try using one of these remedies topically and cover it with a bandaid or tape:

Dr. Berg, thank you for addressing the topic of skin tags and warts. My daughter had gotten warts on her hands that transferred to under her nose. She went to a Dermatologist and they froze the little ones under her nose but used something called Beetle Juice on the warts on her hands. It blistered them and made the swell and turn red, purple and black colored until they popped. They continued to grow and become extremely painful. She couldn’t bend her fingers so she went back to the dermatologist and they decided to try freezing these now massive dark colored warts. They continue to grow and are very painful. I told her that she should contact you. I shared this video with her in hopes your suggested treatment will help her. Any other suggestions would be appreciated and helpful. Thank you for these much wonderful videos. You are one of my few favorite doctors that I can trust.❤

Seriously, the way you remove a wart is ducktape... tell her to put a piece over her wart and leave it there for 7 days, replace tape when needed. after 7 days take it off and soak the wart in warm water, then use a stone or nail file to remove the dead skin... let it air out for the day and the next morning repeat. this should remove the wart

I removed 3 within like 10-15 mins using paper dipped in apple cider vinegar, hold it a while then change. And refresh with water then dry it frequently. After a while the wart will be broken down a bit then u can twist the wart and pull it out. It will instantly bleed, then u must continue to use paper with apple cider vinegar and get the blood away, cuz this can reinfect. Do it for a while then use just water and dry it up until it stop bleed quick. Then put sink ointment on it. Then it heals.

Interestingly, as a 1st grade kid (some 5 decades ago) and in Eastern Europe where I grew up, I got the exact same remedy prescribed by doctor for severely infected nails on my hands (soaked them once daily in the same iodine/garlic solution and than applied to bandage and wrapped), and it worked very well... As for skin tags, I'll try your method, they pester me also from youth and I do not fit any insulin related setup (by nature my whole life I am thin and tall, not a hint of diabetes nor any family history of it for generations, by culture on intermittent fasting since elementary school age and on Keto diet [due to Scientific conviction that it is our natural diet] since 2002...) As for HPV, no warts, just skin tags... Maybe but from young age... (As for estrogen, I am male...). Interestingly, I had several skin tags self-necrotize (dry out, turn black and fall off on their own) without me doing anything during one particular year in my life - during mandatory military service at 18 yrs old. Rumors were that military was adding potassium bromine to our tea for sedative effect, keeping troops in control, the rest of the diet and activity was very similar to my normal life... Any thoughts of it affecting skin tags?

I don't know if someone already mentioned it below or not, but just like Celandine sap, you can also use the white milky sap of fig leaves. When you snatch a fig leave from a tree you would see some milky sap coming from the petiole. You can apply this on the skin tag regularly, as you do with Celandine sap.

Warning use sparingly it can also burn healthy skin: Fig tree latex therapy of warts offers several beneficial effects including short-duration therapy, no reports of any side-effects, ease-of-use, patient compliance, and a low recurrence rate. The exact mechanism of the anti-wart activity of fig tree latex is unclear but is likely to be the result of the proteolytic activity of the latex enzymes.

Well said. My Dad had a problem with having skin tags all over his body. He hated them and had a doctor remove many of them. His body was crying out from the inside because of all the sugar he was consuming and he didn't realize it. He didn't know. He used to have dessert after dinner and a BIG bowl of ice cream almost every night as well as chocolate or sweets during the day. Of course people think of these things as "treats", which is unfortunate. He did eat fruits and vegetables and he did go to the gym to go swimming there. But, he eventually developed dementia even though there is no family history of this. It's very sad to know that if he had changed his diet and stopped consuming sugar he could have avoided this. So sad. 😢 His relatives including his grandfather and great grandfather lived into their 90s with NO dementia.

I did home health care a few years back & developed a couple of painful, itchy warts that looked to have 'hair' growing in them. Trial & error for a cure led me to soak my hand in Epsom salts. OVERNIGHT the 'hair' inside the warts disappeared, the pain, soreness lessened, & within a week the warts dried up, scabbed over, never returned.

If I may, how long did you soak it? I have one on the side of my nose so I suppose I would have to apply it with a cotton swap or something similar.

Before overthinking things, sometimes there's a simple explanation. I've had the same 4 skin tags for the past 25 years. No more, no less. Always the 4. There's no underlying health issues. They're there because my skin was rubbing against itself. You can also remove them by tying a hair around them and waiting for them to drop off.

This was timely. Just a couple days ago I found one of these in the middle of my back. I pierced it with a thin skewer hoping to pop it, but no luck. It just bled. Now I feel better identifying the real problem. Thanks.
