I bought one of these brand new in 1975. Only difference is that mine was candy apple red. I have been riding ever since. I switched to Harley Davidson in 1985, but truthfully these original Honda Fours were, in my opinion, the greatest motorcycles ever built. This particular example in the video is running horribly, however.
It was below freezing when this video was recorded. We did not want to rejet the bike for one test ride video. “Runs horribly” is a stretch. It just needed to be warmed up.
@@themotorbikefactory Fair enough. My apologies. I meant no disrespect, but I seemed to be hearing a little too much engine clatter and a rough idle. Regardless, an awesome piece of machinery and congratulations to whoever had a hand in its restoration. Beautiful job!
@@RP-pc6ji he left the choke on too long. one cyl was trying to recover. it was running on 3 cyl when he dropped it down to idle on the initial start up. I now have 3 of these. I rode one for years on Houston freeways. I stayed alive by being the fastest vehicle. Never rode slow, or with the "pack"
This test ride was done in temps below freezing. This motorcycle is currently jetted for riding in temps 50” or higher. It is running lean from the dense air. The pilot jets are perfectly fine as they were just cleaned.
I've seen a lot of early CB750's from this place. Some of them sound a little ragged. I've owned many Honda 750 K1's thru K6. You can tell when they're in perfect tune. Smooth as silk and responsive. They look nice tho.
That thing is gorgeous! Wow! Definitely one of my all-time favorite road bikes.
En esa época, era increíble una moto así..!
Bissmillah...
Semoga suatu saat beli punya honda cb750

Had one myself. That tach is faded. Fix it.
There is definitely no shortage of hostile advice on the internet… Merry Christmas…
