Hi i have a Yamaha Tricity 300 trick my tricity is the same bicke frome the streeing to the back wheel. But th two front wheels are very stable i love the bike 👍
As much as I like the ADV160 i think I would regret buying one over the Xmax. Xmax is superior in every way. They're just a pain to find! Also not crazy about getting one thru a dealer. But the fact that they're so hard to find should tell you everything.
I made a lot of mistakes in my life and I never can get it back but I learned from it .. and now if I see something that I want or like to have I will buy it and I take my time before I sell something that I have...
I'm 70 year old have had 30 or more bikes during those years have had the x max for years now longer than any other bike I have owned and still have no desire to get rid of it. My wife owned a 2018 honda rebel it couldn't hold a candle to the x max for comfort speed or convenience for carrying stuff trust me from someone who's been riding for 50 years and several bikes yamaha has a winner here.
I don't have an Xmax, but I wouldn't get rid of it. The Xmax is similar to my Kymco X-Town 300i ABS. These bikes are about the perfect size for most things I will eventually get an AK 550 for longer trips, but I will likely still keep the 300 because most of the time I am on curvy back roads and around town.
@@slowridersmotovlog201 The 2022 Kymco X-Town 300i ABS is a maxi-scooter designed for both city commuting and longer rides. It's known for its comfort, performance, and features. Here's a summary of its key aspects: Engine: 276cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine Fuel injection CVT automatic transmission Performance: Good acceleration and highway capabilities Estimated fuel economy of 65 miles per gallon Features: ABS brakes for improved safety Large under-seat storage for two helmets Adjustable rear shocks for customized comfort LED lighting Integrated turn signals in mirrors Overall: The X-Town 300i ABS is a practical and versatile scooter that offers a comfortable ride, decent power, and good fuel economy. It's a popular choice for riders looking for a mid-sized scooter for various purposes.
My friend and I have been looking at either a Can-Am Ryker or Spyder over the years. Then we go and look at bigger displacement bikes and contemplate eventually going for one of those. For us there's too many choices that we may potentially want and can't decide which one to go with. So for now I'll just stick with my scooter until I get more riding in since I don't ride enough. As for your Xmax, if you like it and there's nothing wrong with it I don't see the point in getting rid of it just to get something new and shiny. :)
If I had a large garage and lived in a state where cold and snow didn't exist I would probably have several bikes that I could pick and choose to ride year round and leave my truck at home. As for a car, I've actually never owned one. The closest thing to a car I ever had was a minivan. Aside from that everything else was an suv or a pickup. The nice thing about bikes is they also take up less space as well. :)
The XMax should is solid transportation that will last 100+ k miles. Easy to park pickup the groceries and can be a 4 season vehicle in Hagerstown. I don’t want to be a nagging kinda person but 90% of stop signs there’s not really a reason to put a foot down and do the 6second look. Don’t get totally complacent about not doing that as you might drop your bike or worse shoot across the road out of control. It’s the stupid little subdivisions that make you let your guard down.
We have several trikes in our church, I am not sold on a trike. Between the choice of a smaller bike, or a trike, I will take the smaller bike every time.
Yes..much more fun ride a slow bike fast, than a fast bike slow, for me is much better to take in the journey than to have it all pass by in a blur lol!!
Have you looked at the Rebel 1100 DCT (its an automatic), I have a manual version of it. The Xmax 300 is a great scooter and I've been tempted to get one. So if you sell...who knows I may be a buyer (and I'm in MD).
I have a 2022 rebel 300 I’m debating on selling to get a xmax. Personally I’d sell the xmax and ruckus to get a 150-200cc bike and then get a 650+ cc bike. But my wife limits me on how many motorcycles/scooters we can have. For me my stable is gonna be my 2024 adv160 (traded my 2015 pcx for it) and probably a nc750x if I want twist and go or a transalp 750
Can relate to bike purchase regret. Based on tons of TH-cam "research" I became convinced that a Honda Trail 125 was the right bike for my first mtorized two-wheeler. Went crazy with the accessories but I have come to the conclusion I'm better off with a scooter. Anyone want to buy a 2024 Honda Trail with less than 50 miles on it? I'm in Western Maryland.
Really considering selling my 2022 KLX300SM for an Xmax. I already have a 701 SM so I would still have a sumo for fun. But I would love something like an Xmax for my rides to my offgrid mountain property or the OBX. Looks very comfy. The underseat storage is nice, too. Sometimes, I just don't want to deal with extra luggage. Would you feel comfortable doing 80 mph on an interstate for 2-3 hours (only stopping for fill ups)?
Yes a 2022 model
If you feel you still have adventures to explore on the Xmax, DON'T get rid of it. Its a beautiful bike. I haven't seen one that nice before.
There’s lots of adventure left on the Xmax
Agreed!!!
Glad you kept it. 👍🇦🇺
Me too!!!

Yes iam having same problem, hard to justify almost half the cubic centimeters engine size for only 1400$ more

Most people who ride traditional geared bikes that try out scooters, they usually become converts.
Sweet Ride . How is the travel comfort for long distance ....I think I am getting This Scooter 2024..
Thanks
Yeah. Don't get rid of the xmax. If you want to see hot and humid come on down to Florida and visit me. Lol
Yes us northern folks aren't used to the humidity, especially after coming out of a cold winter, makes it feel worse!
Are you in Maryland? Me too!

I was looking at the xtown to save a couple thousand dollars, but seems like they don't have many dealership near
What’s a xtown?

@@ariesmarsexpress thanks for the information
I'm 63 in your same situation. I bought a used Suzuki Boulevard C40. A direct competitor to the Rebels. But it has belt drive and they are dirt cheap.
I've heard lot people say good things about the boulevard, seems be the best beginner bike around.

Great thing about most bikes, except maybe some Harleys lol, is you can get 3 or 4 bikes insurance and all less than 1 car!!
