Nice little trip, I like it. Maybe I’ll give the day camping a try next time I’m out for an extended ride so I can stop and enjoy nature a little more. Our Ruckus journeys seem pretty similar, mines about a year old now with 600 miles. Been doing a lot of the same kind of riding in Suffolk in the tidewater area of VA

Really something how much scrap metal is in our streams and waterways, id definitely recommend wearing gloves, and have up to date tetanus shots lol! Really glad you have a back up bike! I got my ruckus in October with 0 miles and now I got 2800 on it, and seeing how smooth your ruckus runs, makes me realize I need got next size up carburetor idle jet and main jets.

I hope they recover it soon and if not... that it presents an opportunity to upgrade to the latest model XMax with the insurance coverage. Fell in love with the Ruckus & fuel efficiency but like the little more speed you get on a Navi along with space for a passenger. Now I can’t decide.

Thanks for making the video! We have never rode, but with the car prices right now we are hoping we can commute on a scooter, probably picking up our first ruckus this coming weekend. Located in Missouri, I think there is one stretch of a 45mph slight incline road we will go through, has a bike lane but we're not supposed to be in it. Do you think the ruckus will be safe enough? Also I saw your stop at Walgreens, do you ever worry about it being stolen? We live just outside of the city..

Did you have full theft coverage? You probably wont want it back after they get done with it... how long untill your insurance considers it lost/replaceable? Nevermind, you answered it in the video lol

I had a 2001 SW and now have a xmax 300. If they still made the SW, I would have one it was one of my favorite bikes. With that said, I love my xmax, its a great all around scooter.

Keep a eye on marketplace, I found a stolen tw200 for a guy on marketplace. Usually the criminals are not the brightest people.

When I was 8mo.pregmant,we ent into a store to get hot dogs.9pm and a ball game going on across the street.werent in there 10 min. Someone stole our rototiller off the back of our pickup. 6000$. A troybuilt.they would have had to backup to the truck to get it off and in strap it.told the cops,she didn't even know what a tiller was.but we called the company with our numbers in case they ordered parts for it. Sadly never heard about it,but ins covered it

My xtown got stolen and recovered 2 weeks later 3 blocks away from my house. A guy went out to water his back yard and it was there in the alley. Got DNA off of it and found out who it was. Told them I didn't know him and I wanted to press charges and the da said they didn't have enough evidence. I looked the guy up and he's been in jail multiple times for scooter theft. Ain't that some BS. Wish I could find out his address. Hopefully you find it and they will press charges if they find out who it was

Hopefully you get your Xmax back. My younger brother had his 1993 Honda CR250R dirt bike stolen recently along with his son's pit bike when he was in the hospital for two weeks. He had the dirt bike since him and I were kids in high school. Luckily they were able to find both bikes and get them back with a combination of the police and one of his friends. The person/s who stole the bikes were an acquaintance to his friend who called them out on stealing it.

That's why I use brake rotor lock every time I get off my scooter.

Can you adjust the camera's mic input sensitive to negative 10 db? There shouldn't be that much wind noise.

They are great little bikes. I've got 1969 Trail 90 restoration project (that's to close to completion to have any excuses left 🤦‍♂ ) that I've painted this color. It was originally red, yellow was the other color from the factory that year and I like yellow vehicles better than red. I look forward to finding these on the used market in a couple years! I'd like to see Honda offer it in Mars Orange eventually.

Make the back bigger with plywood. Bolt it down for more surface area. Pretty cool but i don't like the exhaust being that high. You could get burned easier.

I own one of these (2022). It's a great go anywhere bike that I use for all-day exploring. It's really allowed me to see and appreciate the area I've lived in for the past 22 years in a way I never really could before. I've discovered tons of dirt roads, a few trails, stunning vistas, and remote ruins. Great for cruising at 20-25 mph on packed dirt forest roads. Terrible on rocky terrain, deep ruts, or sand, at least with the stock tires. Better tires would give better results, I imagine, but it's never going to be a real "dirt" bike. It's for exploring, or getting to your fishing hole, or messing around on farm roads. Starts right up every time. Solid build. Very good for crummy paved roads. Handles cracks, potholes and manhole covers well. My best rides are the ones where I don't know where I'm going, and I almost always end up somewhere interesting. Because it's a dual sport, it's very easy to check out any interesting looking road, trail, or area, on a whim. The bike can handle almost anything you might come across. You can push, pull, or drag it out of trouble if need be. It's very liberating. If getting lost appeals to you, if you enjoy going slow enough to take in you surroundings, if you want to Boldly Go, then the Trail 125 may very well be your bike. i know I love mine,
