I think we’re all missing the point! The reality is KD needs to join the championship team to win a championship. Kevin Durant literally complained he didn’t have enough in Brooklyn when he had Harden and Kyrie. I think it’s safe to say he’s NOT THAT DUDE.
There's been 7 PGs in the history of the NBA that won MVP, KD's played with 2 of them. KD doesn't just need a super team, he needs the BEST of the BEST to win. He ain't it. He's a glorified 2nd option.

The Suns should try to trade both CP3 and Ayton. Rozier might not be the pure pg CP3 is, but he is a pretty good all around player. Not enough by itself, but probably better than keeping a broken down Paul.
I know it's not quantifiable necessarily but Rozier showed in his Boston days that he elevates his game in the post season, he built like that. He'd help them win in different ways than CP3 did/does

@Humanity is Fucked I mean, what else are the Suns supposed to do to improve? Ayton has promise, but his position is a mess on the Suns. Best to get him out of this situation and use his value to get players that fit better. CP3 is old and broken down. It's not his fault, but you really cannot rely on him in the postseason at this stage. It can make sense to move them without dumping on them.
You could blame Booker, but the Suns have to build around him if they don't want to blow it up completely. They also need to keep him for Durant to be happy.

The sun's have never put stock into Ayton and developing him as a player and cp3 will always get injured when it matters most. I just have a problem with most people's reasoning being that Ayton and Cp3 selling (which is definitely true) without acknowledging dbooks and KD part in the downfall. Which you don't seem to be doing so my bad for misunderstanding.

He’s a good shooter but that’s why he’s so streaky cus he tries to be like Steph taking all these crazy shots and unless your the best of the best it’s hard to be consistently efficient playing that way. That and he needs to improve his handles, ive seen him lose his handle driving to the basket so many damn times or he’ll bounce it off of his own foot. If he improved in those 2 areas he’d be looking like he did when they won the chip last year
I understand KD’s frustration, he has spent over 1/5th of a year with a team that hasn’t won a title. He’s been through over 2 different starting line ups and almost multiple head coaches. Phoenix owes KD, after hours and hours of work he’s put into the franchise.

What do you think about Draymond Green going to the Nuggets? It might limit them offensively but I could definitely see him improving the team defensively, even if he comes off the bench.
no and not for the money he wants. Jokic, Murray, Gordon and MPJ are the core that has chemistry, and also take w big chunk of the payroll. They just need cheap quality role players to surround the core. Also Jokic is the Nuggets' facilitator, they do not need Green's skills.

IF Russel Westbrook does leave LA, I could see the Clippers doing Eric Gordon and Nic Batum for CP3. Paul had previously said he would be willing to go back to LA just to stick it to Doc and Ballmer will do whatever it takes to win before the new stadium opens. Rotation would be Paul/Bones George/Powell Kawhi/Mann Roco/Morris and Zu/Plumlee who Clippers have rights on and will probably re-sign

CP3 shoulda tried to make his way back to the Clippers in 2020-21. At that point CP3 was exactly what they needed. It’s a little late for that now unfortunately.
3 of the most-injury prone stars in 1 team? That's a disaster my friend. The Clippers can't even have PG13 and Kawhi in the same court for an entire play-off series, what more if you add an injured CP3.
There is nothing wrong with Clippers, they just can't have the team stay relative healthy 🤣🤣🤣No trade can help them on this issue. People give shit about their load management, but Clipper front office knows health is the only real thing holding them back.

Honestly that Rozier trade is the closest thing to a mutual W for both teams that I've ever seen in an NBA trade rumor. Actually makes sense and I'm not even a fan of either team. Phoenix would love Rozier, hasn't had a chance to show it in Charlotte but he steps his game up big time in the playoffs.
The Suns are blowing out everything: they have lost Cam Johnson, Mikal Bridges, Saric, Kainsky, Crawder … In return, they got Durant - whom rester of the career won’t exceed 180 games - … and they are now about loosing Paul & Ayton. The have no bench, 3 of their 4 stars are recurrently injured and the fourth one is an overpaid center who is not that bad but that good
to put it in perspective, they werent going anywhere by keeping the previous roster. CP was always going to get injured again when it counts and Ayton still dont wanna be there. It would probably have been the smarter trade to ship Ayton to the Nets and keep Bridges however. But I guess they figured, they can still trade Ayton this off season and get a better player than Bridges, which might actually be the case.

I kinda have an offer that might not be realistic, anyways trade Ayton and Paul and one first for Kyrie and Christian Wood unrealistic but this frees up a lot of the Suns cap space and they could still have money to get a good role player, as for the Mavs, Chris Paul can mentor Luka on how to be a good leader and not have bad attitude.

I like the cp3 hornets trade. Hornets could use a leader like cp3 also would take a little pressure off of lamelo on offense. Rozier I like. I agree he’s not really a perfect fit next to book and kd but beggars can’t be choosers cp3 market won’t be robust. Rozier can give you at least a solid 15 a night and actually be healthy come playoff time. Reasonable contract you can also flip at the deadline or next off season.

I am starting to see that KD wasn't the player that we though he is during his time with the Golden State Warriors, I thought that he is the anchor and the center piece of that warriors team, but he is nothing but like a glorified Andrew Wiggins, solid star player but not really a franchise player that can carry the team and put everyone on his back, heck Booker has a lot of moments carrying the load for the Suns this year. Thing is KD will never win a championship again unless he joins a contending team and takes a paycut for that team to sign good role players, same thing what happened in the warriors, but it is impossible to happen now since KD just signed a massive contract from Brooklyn Nets, Until that contract is up, KD will never win a championship and his prime years is already on its last leg.

The suns need more depth and rebounding. And better defense and a better center for sure. And possibly a better coach if Monty is not it. And maybe they need to get rid of Chris Paul to have more cal space to maybe make some moves. They should target good role players.
