    Would have been nice to get a sound clip of the exhaust rather than the engine bay 🤦🏼‍♂️

    Very descriptive as usual but why would you not install turbo adapters at the same time? At the very least, mention this is the perfect time to install them.

      The perfect time to install Turbo adapters would have to be at turbo replacement, that's when I did mine..

    I know high flow catted downpipes do not require a tune or “revision” but knowing this are the gains worth it if any with no calibration change? There aren’t any before and after dyno tests to see what kind of gains this downpipes offer

    Love how he clamps the stainless steel pipe in the vice to cut it. nice and loose and no rag to protect from scratches.

      Rags would protect it from scratches, but it was a used pipe that was already beat up, and it turned out just fine. Thanks for watching!

      @josephlima528 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      What????? He's not building a show truck with polished stainless exhaust that he's intending on putting mirrors on the ground so people can see it. At least he used a vice. OMG he scratched some stainless steel off the stainless steel now it's going to Rust! When I work on exhaust I just throw it in the grass put my foot on it and cut it. I will wait for your rebuttal which is probably going to go something like-
      OMG when the EPA finds out about you killing your grass you're going to be in BIG TROUBLE!

      @@siclt1 since you're calling him out and saying "he does a lot of things wrong"; I'm going to call you out and ask you exactly what those things are? You can't just piss in the wind and expect it not to blow back on you.

    The link to the downpipe says it’s only for 11-14??? I notice other companies has a specific pipe for the 15-16. What’s up with that?

    Will this kit throw a CEL code? Does it require tuning?

    • @freddycjpp3660
      @freddycjpp3660 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It does not require tuning, but a good tune is always a good thing no matter what modification you do. We did experience a CEL with this setup for catalyst efficiency below threshold.

  • @joebrown3730

    Hey Freddy. I just bought a 2013 ecoboost. Curious on out of all the exhaust, tunes and intakes, what's your professional opinion on the best for performance and gas mileage???

    • @freddycjpp3660
      @freddycjpp3660 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I would go with one of our dry AFE cold air intakes, MBRP intercooler pipes, the CPE downpipes from this video and the AFE Rebel cat back exhaust. As for tuning, the bully dog tune is good, but a professional dyno tune is the absolute best.

    • @joebrown3730
      @joebrown3730 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      How do I go about getting a professional dyno tune??

    • @joebrown3730
      @joebrown3730 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      So after all the modifications with this ecoboost and the professional dyno tune. What's the final HP and torque you were able to achieve????

      Brew city boost is a great option for tuning. They were just featured in a big time magazine for fastest stock motor f150 ecoboost. They offer tunes for whatever you need.

  • @eddybrownII

    • @freddycjpp3660
      @freddycjpp3660 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      It depends on your state, after driving the truck for a little bit we had a catalyst efficiency below threshold code.
