U should tune it add a boost controler and a tune my expedition ran high 11s on the 1/4 mile
Erick Fernandez yeah we’re getting a tune in June, and that’s pretty fast for a expedition
@@RatchetWrenches yea the tune does wonders and maxing out the boost helps as well
@@erickfernandez8485 if you really like fast, do a 410 rear end
@@daleval2182 thats my next step but so far it runs great only thing i noticed was oil consuption
Does this give it more horsepower?
Not really, mainly for noise
I installed mine last night on my 2020 and it’s not working. I checked for vacuum leaks and there are none. Not sure what’s going on.🤔
What do you mean it’s not working? It’s not working on idle, driving, or just at all? Cus a lot of it can have to do with the spring tension and how it opens under which pressure
@@RatchetWrenches it’s not working under any condition. It’s not blowing off. The stock by pass was louder when I made it vent to atmosphere. I just don’t think it’s blowing off. According to Turbosmarts website there’s no adjustment. Not sure what’s going on.
Hmm that’s interesting there has to be something wrong because this is a direct plug and play and should be straight forward. I’d retrace your steps and try to find something wrong. Unfortunately I can’t really help not being there analyzing it
@@RatchetWrenches I read a review that the 17-20 BOVs have the vacuum shared with the EVAP system. I’m going to go over it tonight. Will post my findings.
Can you give me any info on how to get this for a 2012 f150. Thanks
I have a 2020 f150 what I need to buy for that
They should make one for the 2020 setup, I’m sure it’s pretty much the same blow off valve. Google Turbosmart blow off valve for your year and engine size on the truck!
Sounds amazing!
Thank you!
Hey got the link what product you buyed blow off valve ?
Gladly appreciate it

Should I get one of these for my 2.7 ? Could it cause damage to my turbo ?
You can get one for your 2.7, it won’t hurt or damage anything. It’s purely for noise.
I have the same exact sound and all I did was plug the bypass valve with a 2 dollar plug. Lol
What about the turbo sound when idle how I get that higher noise I have a huge blow off valve already
You'd probably need higher quality / larger turbo's and / or straight pipes for basically no restrictions.
@@RatchetWrenches yes I have a velociraptor but can’t hear the turbos when idle etc I wonder if needs more pounds boost etc what you think
@@RatchetWrenches right now has the borla exhaust
Excellent! Thanks for posting! Keep up the good work.
Will R thank you!
Is all the white smoke from the blow off valve?
No it was from the cold it was like 20° out that night. Middle of winter
@@RatchetWrenches word I’m installing one haha
whats up with the white smoke ...i have the same problem
The white smoke in this video was due to the cold winter weather, but usually white smoke is a sign of a blown head gasket or possibly even the turbos depending on the exact color and smell
Did this require any tune or adjustments at all?
No tune or adjustments needed
Should have replaced the inter cooler while your were at it. Truck sounds great though.
If it was my truck personally I would've also but the owner didn't want to. It does sound really good!
What is the part called
Turbosmart blow off valve
Somebody get this guy a jack
Whoops 😬 😂
Was this supersonic done before the vee port electronic one turbo smart came out with?
Whats the name of the turbo brand ?can u help me find one for my F150 ford2017 2.7ecoboost sport?
The turbos on this truck are stock, I’m sure you can find some aftermarket ones on Americantrucks.com
can you provide link for the equipment you used???
Like the tools? Or the part

If you get yourself a set of metal car rams it would help you a lot
We do, just didn't have them at the firehouse while doing the install
should have done a before and after to compare the difference.
At the end there’s some sound clips but other than that sound there’s no difference lol. Plus if you check out our other videos you can hear it as well if you’re interested
What kind of exhaust on truck?
