- It is July 2021, and it's been six years since our last trip to the Autobahn near Wittenberg, Germany. We have been to this city a few times, to remind us of the great reformer - Martin Luther. We are thankful for his hunger for Truth, his obedience to the Word of God, rather than the traditions of man and his courage to stand up to tyranny and oppression, even if it would cost him his life. We recommend the book Great Controversy, where this history is explained and reveals what is happening in our time today and where we are heading.
After our trip, on Sunday morning, we performed a speed test, but this time with the Bugatti Chiron. We also tested the Porsche 911 Turbo, Lamborghini Aventador and the Bentley Flying Spur. (Those cars might be in a different video).
The section of the A2 was a 3 lane, 10 km straightaway with a light descent in the middle, so there was visibility along the whole stretch. Safety was a priority, so the circumstances had to be safe to go.
We thank God for the safety and good circumstances, as we were able to reach the speed of 414 km/h!
We hope you enjoy the video and yes, we made this video for you to feel the excitement in the Chiron, but also to consider a relationship with Jesus, who brings true love, joy and hope to anybody who comes to Him.

As a citizen who lives in a country plagued with terrible accidents and reckless driving, I commend you for taking every precaution possible for this run. Your timing was right and there isnt a hint of recklessness in this video. The first sign of your utmost responsibility was evident when waiting for the bend to end before opening her up. A man cant be criticized for driving at high speed on a road with no speed limits set while taking every precaution possible. If I could ever afford such a vehicle I will follow your example. And to beat Bugatti, GTR Alpha or Aloha or whatever should take a Guinness world records in Volkswagen's Ehra-Lessien test track in Germany to reach over than 490km/h

5:10 The Chiron has amazing stability control considering the fact that he just momentarily lifted his hands off the steering wheel at 300km/h!

At 300 km/h the gyroscopic effect is so large, there is no problem at taking the hands off the wheel, because the car will keep going straight forward.

Nice car from the VW group. Just bought a 2 door Seat Mii (still with manual handles for the windows, no cruise control, massive 60 hp) and tried it on the motorway. Reached a whopping 120 km/h !

15 years ago I had a very fast car, I accelerated it up to 270 km / h on an empty highway, I was in the left lane, I saw a car in the right lane, without any other car, I was passing it was a simple smart, suddenly it moved for no reason in front of my car, luckily I was able to brake, with all the force that the brakes and tires of my car had and to avoid an accident, I stopped immediately after, the tires of my car they were smoking, I could see the steam rising up the hood, the smart one only went 120km / h, the speed difference was 150km / h could have killed us. Some speeds can be reached but only in particular situations, nobody can be trusted and they can be blamed. There are circuits or airports for some things, create a circuit long enough to run with cars even at 1000km / h, but on the road keep in mind that 1 person is worth 1.

Paráda! Jsem rád, že ještě existují lidé, co tahle hypersportovní auta dokáží užívat k tomu, k čemu byly stvořena. Dosahování vysokých rychlostí. A ne je jen nechat leštit v ohromných skrytých garážích a najezdit s tím většinu kilometrů jen mezi garáží a odtahovkou do servisu na pravidelnou prohlídku. Chápu, že ta "sranda" používat tato auta něco stojí, ale lepší si užít tu zábavu s nimi, než kupovat další a další.

Good that they prayed before this attempt, since its suicidal madness to attempt 414 kph on a public highway. Someone 500 meters in front of you can easily turn into your lane not realizing that within seconds you will be on top of them.

I don't believe it can be faster than this
The thing with transport is the surrounding road infrastructure and what you would exclude from the roads fielding such cars as a routine. You would probably have to have some form of signalling and advance warning devices similar to HST signalling. The cars themselves would definitely have to be tested thoroughly regarding brakes, tyres, suspension etc. and good luck getting to do this with bog standard licence or driver health.
you would have to adopt aviation standards of personnel health and vehicle condition to pull this stuff off.

The car is sweet but involving the public isn't cool. Take it to the salt flats or arrange to have the road closed next time you want to do something that dangerous.
Great video, but you guys missed the opportunity to let the audience really be immersed in the experience with the music. It would have been that much cooler to hear the acceleration, wind going over the spoiler & car and road noise etc etc. But nonetheless very cool to see someone actually enjoying their 5 million-dollar Bugatti 🤗😏

At the 5:01 mark when he reached top speed. All I had seen him pass was a yellow blur, I had to pause and rewind this video back multiple times to see that it was a Yellow Porsche Cabriolet 911. This Bugatti Chiron is Nightmarishly fast lol, Good Lord!

The Autobahn has the best traffic record when it comes to safety This isn't the first car driving fast on the road. Some people are such hypocrites he wasn't driving reckless or in lane's he wasn't supposed to be in.Great job Germany on your safety record .More countries are talking about following suit why change something that has been working great for years.They have slow traffic lane's get in them if you don't want to go fast like I said there are rules .Stay in your lane and worry about your driving not paying attention to your driving causes accidents
Technically, we don't have fast lanes like in the US. In Europe the lanes on the left are for overtaking, if you're notbovertaking anybody, you belong in the lane on the outer right. Although in this case that wouldn't have been safe indeed.

Everything was done within the rules. The transport ministry seems to be trying to put more weight on the opinion of its current members that it does on the actual rules and laws. One would understand if they were careless, but it is evident that alot of planning went into this. Many of us viewers are happy for him and enjoyed the ride as well.

They should have had a car filming from right hand lane doing 100 mph. So we could see what a rocket ship looks like going past at warp speed. Congratulations to all involved. And no dramas. @@leon2678 I lived there for almost 10 years and he's not wrong. They practice motorway driving as part of their driving school curriculum and lane discipline in Germany is, compared with the rest of Europe, the USA and everywhere else I've visited... amazing.

To put this into perspective, it's double freefall velocity and four times the maximum speed limit on any road on the island I live on. Cool video, thank you for it and for doing it in as responsible and legal a way possible. The Chiron is a landmark car for the whole automotive industry, if I could I would.

Vážený pane Passere , moc si za sebe přeji , aby Vám to co jste dokázal se svou Bugatti v Německu prošlo bez jakýchkoliv popotahování byrokratů.. Nikoho jste neohrozil , Vaši akci jste měl již z videa předem připravenou a mrzí mne postoj fabriky , že se distancuje od Vás . Museli vědět že se na tento rekord zaměřujeme.. moc Vám fandím a po to všem co se stalo ve vašem soukromém životě věřím , že tímhle se odpoutáváte od bolesti .. pokračujte dál a těším se až natočíte další rekord v čemkoliv a moc Vám ho přeji.
Jenže to je právě to, čeho se mohou oni chytit. Pokud pan Passer jel jen tak pro radost a vybral si k tomu ideální podmínky, je to pro člověka, myslícího selským rozumem, asi v pořádku. Jenže slova jako rekord, připravená akce atd. to posouvají jinam, mimo běžný provoz na dálnici. Zkrátka tam, kde lze mít na provoz jiné nároky a ty vynucovat. Tak to prostě je.
