- Which car is the fastest in the world in 2024? SSC Tuatara or Koenigsegg Jesko Absolut? What are the fastest hypercars capable of today? This is a compilation of the 12 top #fastest #production #supercars . Neither tuner monsters nor in a single copy cars were included - only serial production cars that you can meet on a public road. Full specs and natural exhaust sounds included.
In order for the speed record for production cars to be counted by the Guinness Book of Records, the car must travel in two directions and count at least 30 copies. "Unconfirmed" top speed in video - is manufacturer's data.

I prefer the full aero over the Absolut. It just looks more aggressive and that bonkers rear wing looks awesome. Plus it'll be fast enough, not sure I need to go the full 500km/h+.

Koenigsegg and Bugatti (VW back then) are also the only companies which already showed that they can go hypercar speed. The other companies only calculated it virtually or simply faked it.
I love the seat layout of the speedtail center for driver and passenger seats on each side that real cool.

Reading each spec, it came to mind Gordon Murray's comments on how incredibly heavy some of these "hypercars" were, with quite a few of them weighing nearly two tonns. Of course some weighing around 1,250 kg, which is quite 'acceptable' considering the enormous engine displacement. These depositions from Murray were given while he introduced his GMA T.50 that weighs only 900 kg. And Murray knows one or two two things about designing fast cars...
Aesthetically speaking, the McLaren speedtail is a beautiful creation, for me only bettered by the P1, though that Bugatti runs it close for understated beauty.

And the high speed cars from the 1930's have been forgotten. Rudolph Carracciola drove along the Darmstadt autobahn in a Mercedes at 269 mph (approximately) in 1938. This car was built for racing, but due to them having to be driven to the track, then driven back on public roads, one can technically call them a limited production car.
An interesting example of a supercar, but it is completely unsuitable for public roads, although 269 mph in 1938 sounds more impressive than 300 in 2021

There is no way a production car did anywhere near that speed at that period in time, it must have been a car built especially to break land speed records.

I would think the koeninsegg Jesko absolut would be the fastest with those dished wheels and splitters removed and smoother body lines for aerodynamic purposes. So I have faith in you christen Von koeninsegg.
He hasn’t tested the jesko absolut yet for fastest on the road. It took them 7 years to finally get the perfect conditions just to test the regera

Most of the cars have unconfirmed speed record, because in order to validify a speed record, a car should run both the opposite direction and get its average from starting to stopping.
I think königsegg will do everything according to the rules - not the first time to beat world speed records))

Not quite right. They should do a flying distance - typically a mile - in both directions, within a small time period. There are fixed rules for outright world speed records, but not for these types of cars. If you averaged from start to stop, you'd get a pretty low number.

According to me, Jesko Absolut is faster than Tuatara
Because, Tuatara's maximum top speed is achieved to be 331 mph, whereas, Jesko Absolut's top speed is achieved to be 350 mph! (in right conditions). Otherwise, it's top speed is also achieved to be the same, 331 mph
We should wait for new Bugatti hybrid made by Rimac to see who will be on top in the future.
Ur opinion is very invalid. You probably never knew the tuatara faked their top speed record. They in fact did redo it after being exposed and later proved to only do 282 mph.
For me the answer is simple.The car that held the title of fastest car in the world for the longest time and still holds this record as the fastest naturally aspirated car in the world.Maybe not in the list, but in the hearts of all lads.Mclaren F1.The most exciting, satisfying and greatest car ever made.

Well, the regulations were the same for all manufacturers for the time, and yet no one made a faster car. @@josephjumawid8473 Actually I thin a production car that is allready sold to a costumer tops it, and is the official production car record, Agera RS:), still a Koenigsegg, the Jesko should be faster but is as far as I know, still not sold and still not tested. ( had to reformulate a bit since my keyboard has lost a few letters:)

Absolutely amazing cars, no doubt about that! But driving my old 2019 GT3 thru the mountains of North Carolina, with 6 manual gears...and that wonderful sound it makes in the tunnels, never gets old. It's the touring model, all leather, just like my first 911S in 1972. I love it!

That CZinger is a work of digital art, it just needs more AI body design incorporation. Can't wait to see how it handles a few tracks. I would like the T.50 more if it didn't have such a gimmick sticking out the back, more like the T.33. Truly a shame what happened to the top-speed version of the Tuatara but I like the looks on the downforce version better. The Venom F5 seems the most fun and raw after watching the test drive. But I pretty much fast-forward during the Bugattis, more single-minded in design than Pagani, not knocking it but would like to see something new. I almost hope Koenigsegg takes the record though because of their bad luck at the unmentionable Ring and narrow miss of maybe making the Holy Trinity the Holy Tetralogy.

Here is what I would love to see. Put all of these cars together on the track (Suzuka, Spa, Silverstone?) In the hands of capable race car drivers, and set them loose for, let's say, a 40 lap race. Maybe throw in the pot a Pagani Huyara, the GMA T.50 and a couple more cars of the same caliber. My issue is, yes, they are incredibly fast on a straight line, but how do they mix up on a racetrack for several laps?
In my mind I always say this.
The Jesko Absolute has two versions, a top speed version with no wing and a track version with the big back wing and a full aero package.
I agree that these vehicles are supreme!!
But what ever speed they are claiming is possible on normal roads??
How many roads are suitable in the world for such supreme machines??
When they are running with 300-400-500 km / hr speed, how much time the car can be on track or road? Fuel would required to fill in, as these vehicles are performance based not milage based!!!

The Hennessey Venom GT looks similar with Lotus Evora
It has the same chassis but a little bit modified to fit the aerodynamic requirements for the speed they were trying to reach
