For traveling at 330+ kph it's very quiet ! Probably the best luxurious space rocket.
Besides the excellent sound insulation, there is also active noise cancellation
Its a Bentley, Bentley owners dont want to hear poor peoples cars

@@greymark420 Our ears are naturally drawn to the loudest available source of noise. When you soundproof a car to this degree, whether it be through passive or active means, the wind noise becomes the only sound that stands out at those speeds. The GT already comes with acoustic (double glazed) glass but the wing mirrors will still generate a significant (in comparison to the rest of the noise sources) amount of drag and noise at speed. Having sat in a flying spur recently, I can tell you with certainty that it is ridiculously quiet inside, and this is coming from my own car which has all round soundproofing (roof, doors, wheel arcs & most of the floor) and also the acoustic windows (front windscreen & front side windows). You can basically whisper from the diagonal rear seat and your driver will still be able to hear you clearly. The faster you go when the sound system is on, the more the auto sound-dependent sound adjustment will crank the volume. In cars with active noise cancellation, the ANC is also turned up the higher your speed. I.e. you will not hear much of the wind noise when the stereo is on.
The lack of harsh NVH at over 300kmh is incredible. It’s extremely quiet at any speed. It does 200kmh 8th gear at only 2500rpm. It has short first gears (0-100) and tall final gears: this is the ultimate luxobarge/missile.
It's really hard to fault it. Brilliant machine
when he slowed down to about 150mph, it actually seemed like it was just cruising. almost slow even, like 75 on the highway. amazing

At 160 in my car i feel like i am flying, on 160 km/h this Bentley looks like hes ready to parking. Awesome video!!

I love how "cheap" cars are making everything touch sensitive to feel more premium and luxurious while real luxury cars keep physical buttons everywhere.

This is the difference between classy and trashy...the "regular" car market is trending towards trashy style (see Mercedes with disco like interiors...), classy fortunately is still a thing of real luxury cars like this one...

Weight doesn't influence top speed, it only has an effect on acceleration and compared to a 992 turbo s, the acceleration is much inferior.
5:45 bombing down the Autobahn at 300 km/h+ during the sunset, chasing the sun - magnificent. The camera angle is also perfectly adjusted, you can see the entire cockpit. Can't remember the last AutoTopNL video, when I had so much joy watching.

Amazing. It's so smooth and quiet, even at 340kmh.
When he slows down to 'only' 250kmh it seems like you could get out and walk since everything is so calm in the cabin! It's a _really_ impressive all-day speed machine for covering long distances very quickly and calmly. Perhaps the very best GT car ever made at not an insane price.
From the line of the dash against the road, that car must have a suspension system they should upload to pillows and mattresses. I wonder what a glass of water sitting on the dash would look like. Oh, of course! You don't want to disturb the champagne! Aha!
That has to be the most quiet and drama free run to over 200mph I've ever seen. That car was loafing along at 2000rpm at 200km/h haha
Phenomenal engineering.. What a car! I love all the old ones aswell, and the old Rollers just timeless classics with unrivalled build quality/engineering for their time! The ultimate in opulence, as are the old Daimler's and Jag's to a lesser degree, but still head and shoulders above anything else.. 🏴🇬🇧

German ones are good, but not on a par with the old school luxury and engineering of their day of the older English Engineered and built ones. That's what made them Great cars and built the Brands! No wheel spin at 344..he passed a car, which creates a low pressure system..allowing the Bimmer a second to sort of drive in a vacuum momentarily; It then ran up an extra 3 kmh..kind of like drafting in NASCAR..
Forget about the luxury, forget about that 330+ km/h, forget about everything else, but Hats off for that stability at insane speeds.
Going well over 200mph and he signals for and makes lane changes. That takes massive skill, confidence, and concentration.

@@PhantomWoIfactually the sound is pretty regular, but the cabin is so insulated that the blinker is pretty noticeable. That feeling is what makes the blinker sound expensive, when a regular sound such as the blinker kind of annoys the quiet experience.

It actually feels very unspectacular. If you want driving fun you have to get an M4, Porsche 911, R8 etc. Have driven a Bentley W12 and the acceleration doesn't feel any stronger than in a BMW 530D or E Class 300D

This and the Bentley Flying Spur, two hell of a luxury cruisers on the autobahn. That sedan does 340+ km/h FFS :D Love your videos on it from 3 years ago. Absolute dream car(s) to me - refined luxury, superb NVH dampening at high speeds, floating over bumps with ease, stability at all speeds. I dont get the "sporty" approach of other manufacturers calling it luxury. THIS is what luxury shall mean.
Just watch that end part where car goes 200km/h in a _sport_ setting, in 7th gear out of 8, "idling" at 3000rpm, dead silence, sunset, solitude :) So awesome.

this is how a real luxury car behaves at high speed. incredibly stable, quiet, and also comfortable at the same time! any flat sports cars are in the crappy category compared to the Bentley...
Audi R8 performance does very well at 335kph. I mean obviously nowhere as good as bentley but comparatively the stability and sound insulation at 300+kph is quite good for a supercar.

Bentley is truely unique car manufacturer.
It's got Maybach/Rolls-Royce level of luxury and comfort (if not better), but combine it with Porsche/McLaren level of performance. An ultimate machine.
The road is also so nice. Not any big rough patches or sine waves.

Surprisingly fast despite the not exaggerated power (large torque anyway), the weight. Aerodynamically it seems excellent to me, little noise, very stable at 342 kmh, like sitting in a living room.

@@hexagonosaurus5848 its a Bentley not bmw crap so ofcourse its speedo speed is almost near the GPS speed. In bmw cars its off by 14-15 kmph and in this car it's arround 3-5 kmph... So yeah... Arround 340+ kmph....

floating on a cloud at 200mph is unreal. you should show how fast the fuel gauge is going down i remember a mate had a golf vr6 when we was young and we were doing 160mph and i could see the fuel level dropping very quickly

Thanks for sharing! Oh the cars are getting better & better here! This has best suspension, wrote this after watching 1 minute of video only. I’m assuming all these roads on Autobahn have similar surfaces, unless this road is extremely level & smooth, this Bentley does not move/bounce at all.

Every time I see your awesome videos, I can't help but think what an Australian highway patrol officer of government official feels seeing the speedo scream past 110 and knowing not a single crash occurred, because as we all know, here in Australia they try to tell us every “K” over the limit is a killer…..
The trouble with speed limits is drivers with very limited ability will sit at those speeds. I regularly see SUV drivers going 80+ and when they leave the motorway they are frightened to go round corners at 35mph.
