This guy is the Elite. Owning a Bugatti Chiron is pretty rare but having the opportunity to drive it to 490 km/h is something a really few people can do, maybe not a handful of people in the world.
He is the only one. This is a private road owned by VW in Germany. The only safe place to even consider such magic. Also I am quiet sure this is done with special fuel. If you are lucky enough to own the car, you can try to reach 400, but that is with incredible risk.

by using mods, i realised that going that fast will effectively make you cross the entire map in less than 5 minutes... maybe gta6 with a larger map will allow for higher speeds without making crossing the map boring and make it feel small

They created a car that can go 300+ kph without a gearbox, they have plans to make an engine that can be fueled with alcohol. They are creating high class cars, Not just some tuning and bodywork. They are in my opinion a real car brand, not just another VW group brand.

it happened to me in rhodes island greece 10days ago, they r protection and after so many years their number reach to 5000 est, and driving thanks got slow i hit a deer a big one on the leg on my left lights small damage , but after me 2 kids driving their small motorbikes , i couldnt imagine what would have happened if they had crashed on it, scary stuff , the deer disappeared into the woods

as an exfarmer who loves his good gear and appreciates great engineering this is a fantastic achievement ,to get the whole package and components working in unison at this level . hat's off to you men and women .this is way better than "captain slow's " unforgettable amazing effort in the Veyron
This was truly fantastic achievement, shown by the fact no one else has really come close to it yet, 5 years later. There have been two cars in the Texas Mile that have done it, but the worlds top performance automakers (outside Bugatti of course) so far, have not even attempted it. Cheers to Bugatti for such a wonderful car, and for reaching 300+mph.
If they would make it more earodynamic.....with this much horsepower, getting beyond 500 km/h shouldn't be a problem. But at bugatti they also want to it to be a luxurious car and to have distinctive looks, etc. If they would put this engine in a car, designed only to be fast and nothing more, just like ferrari did with the enzo and the fxx, they should easily be able to make it go faster than 500 km/h.

Actually the driver, Andy Wallace, sayd he hadn't had enough road left so he had to slow down, but the top speed would hit 515 km/h if they did this run at the Nevada desert.
I feel so happy that Andy Wallace has been chosen to have the honor to drive such a supercar and broke a worldwide record. What a gentleman driver who has contested 24 hours of Le Mans 19 times from 1988 to 2007 and won once with the famous Jaguar XJR9.

Not sure about the Jesko, but judging from it's other Koenigsegg track cars, P1 will catch them in the corners too. Koeigsegg isn't so great at building cars that can turn, atleast not nearly as great as Mclaren.

No, they just filmed it at 120 frames per second instead of 30. It allowed the camera man to only have to maintain 1/4 the speed of the Chiron to stay ahead of it. Time lapse, stop motion kind of stuff. I think they even superimposed something.

@@neuromantoo Fun fact: when the first AWACS planes (air force) flew over Europe (and that was way before those Bugattis), their radar sent alerts, some cruise missile had been detected. But these missiles flew mysteriously along the Autobahn at very low altitude... Then software had to be adapted not to detect Porsches or Ferraris all the time when those went at ~320kph...

This was truly fantastic achievement, shown by the fact no one else has really come close to it yet, 5 years later. There have been two cars in the Texas Mile that have done it, but the worlds top performance automakers (outside Bugatti of course) so far, have not even attempted it. Cheers to Bugatti for such a wonderful car, and for reaching 300+mph.

Next challenge will be first over 500km/h. The Chiron doesn’t have much more to go to reach that!
It needs maybe 200 Hp more for only that 10 km/h faster. And the costst are extreme, may be for that 10 km/h the costst are more than100.000 Euro's.

If they would make it more earodynamic.....with this much horsepower, getting beyond 500 km/h shouldn't be a problem. But at bugatti they also want to it to be a luxurious car and to have distinctive looks, etc.
If they would put this engine in a car, designed only to be fast and nothing more, just like ferrari did with the enzo and the fxx, they should easily be able to make it go faster than 500 km/h.
@tika1. There are no tires for such a high speed. They will heat up to much and there is the possibility for a blowup. You don't want that with 500km/h 🤣
Actually the driver, Andy Wallace, sayd he hadn't had enough road left so he had to slow down, but the top speed would hit 515 km/h if they did this run at the Nevada desert.

Not sure about the Jesko, but judging from it's other Koenigsegg track cars, P1 will catch them in the corners too. Koeigsegg isn't so great at building cars that can turn, atleast not nearly as great as Mclaren.

No, they just filmed it at 120 frames per second instead of 30. It allowed the camera man to only have to maintain 1/4 the speed of the Chiron to stay ahead of it. Time lapse, stop motion kind of stuff. I think they even superimposed something.
