Simplicity is sometimes key when coming to car content, just a leisurely drive through the canyons provides such a unique experience for views and car enthusiasts alike! Love it! 🫶🏽
I have a 10th gen that’s significantly faster and better handling but this makes me really miss my 6th gen. The sound and simplicity plus you can just beat on it all day without worry. Mine was stolen from my college parking structure 2 weeks before graduation 😢
I have a 95 EX coupe and honestly this civic has been an inspiration, I bought it not too long ago and bit by bit I’m fixing it up to look half as clean as yours, keep up the great work bro🔥
Ive owned my 96 civic coupe for 10 years now and love driving it like I just bought it for 400$. Your videos inspire me to not only keep making improvements, but to enjoy it in general!
As much as there are tonnes of videos with b and k series motors. I sometimes to wish there are more guys who spent less money on powertrain, but appreciate the simplicity and power of a d series.
What intake do you have to make it sound like that? I have a carbon fiber one that is huge... (I didn't buy it on the car when I bought it) but I want this sound!
I really love all the content you give the quality is spot on and the Hondas you own are very beautiful, I just take it from this video that or engine noise or a lot of breaking before turns, if this is the case I think you take much more drive pleasure going slower in general but in terms that you can start your curves with out breaking or very little and throttle half way out the curves , anyway just a pleasure tip, amazing as always thank you
Yo Anthony, how many miles you got now? I got about 220,000 on my Milano red ex coupe like yours. Mines not as clean but we got a lot of the same or similar parts and it’s still my favorite car to drive. Also, what’s your favorite mod so far? I really want a s2000 wheel. Also what wheel and tire size you running? And did you roll fenders? I got 205/50/15 and the rub a little in the front even after rolling the fenders a bit
Great paint JOb .. and the Drive was too good man!!! question, How do you or did you get your paint job looking so good. i need to paint my Coupe also. Thanks
Is that an S2000 steering wheel? Also love the sound of the intake when you hit vtec, makes it sound like a car has an exhaust from the inside, removed the airbox on my TSX and really opened up the noise, was a free mod rather then having to get an actual intake.
Im going to have to go back and watch the old videos because i dont think i saw you add those seats to the car. Nevermind i already watched that one. Lol
ej2 ? hi would anyone be kind enough to tell me what generation of civic is this? and who would tell me what an ek of an eg is and what vtech it is because I don't understand anything about honda lol but I loved it all
Theres a dark green 99 civic coupe thats for sale in my neighborhood. Guys had it sitting in his yard since i was in highschool 11 years ago and now it has a 'for sale' sign in the windshield. Tempted to buy it even more after watching this (though im sure its going to need work). Im happy with my 9th gen but theres something about a 90s Honda. And im also happy that theres still enthusiasts out there that go for simplicity instead of building their cars for the internet with a million hp 🙄
You inspired me to keep my 93 del sol captiva blue a d series. Added bolt ons and enjoyed her for what she is. Simplicity is so much bettter. Dont need all the speed and swaps. I enjoy her for what she was meant to be
You'll never regret swapping a D series with a B16, B18C or even a B20V. I know its expensive and alot of work but it's a way better engine platform and they can make our cars actually quick. I drove my buddy's Del Sol before and after he B16 swapped, was like driving a completely different car.
@@TheBongoman47 i own a k20 swap and b18c swap as well and I always go back to my single jingle d series sol. I admire a chill ride without all the speed. The older you get the less faster you want to go for some reason lol
@@chopsticks7751 Isn't d series VTEC exhaust only? So I don't know how much difference the intake side is going to make. If you tuned your exhaust (maybe intake too), somehow, so that it resonates really well at the frequency corresponding to your VTEC RPM then that should make it more noticeable.
@@chopsticks7751 oh alright, sick. For an experiment you could try about a 30 inch tube from your throttle body. That corresponds to the 1/4 wavelength of 92hz, which is about the frequency that the intake and exhaust make from a 4 cylinder at 5500 RPM
I got a question. I have a D16Y7 in my shitbox (fucking obviously); is it worth swapping the head to a D16Y8? Will the rods and pistons carry over? What else do I have to do? Anyone willing to help out?
You just need the y8 harness and ECU unless you want to go aftermarket ECU, then you can just add your VTEC solenoid wiring to your harness.... Maybe you could do that anyway. Regardless, the head bolts right on. After I blew up the d16y8 that I swapped in my car I put the head on a y7 bottom end. No problem
@greenbassboosts8872 thanks man - I went and sold the car though. Didn't think it was worth fucking with it at this point. Car's doing well, the mechanic who now owns it put a Turbo Y8 in it after he blew up the original engine lmao
@@twinblade02 Hey nice one lol. I sold all my Hondas as well. I had about 8 different POS civics, one 1997, one 1996, and the rest 1998. Not sure why 1998 was so common for me. I like the pre-facelift look tbh looks cute hehe. You can also run the VTEC cam in the non-vtec head if you lock it in VTEC all the time. Kind of a silly thing to do but the idle will be all brappy
Hi ALLDAYANTHONY, This is Kristina from ANCEL. I am reaching out to see whether you are interested in reviewing our OBD2 diagnostics scan tool? Looking forward to your reply.
Out of all the high hp stanceyboi content on YT, this is actually really nice. Hopefully more content like this gets put out. :))
Thanks dude!

Beautiful video brother!!!🔥 that civic it’s amazing❤️
Glad you liked it!!
Your build is definitely something of the sort I’m trying to do, function and form and less cabin noise 😂. Time and research thank you always
i love seeing the civic coupe content makes me want to keep perfecting mine
this road was looking more and more familiar as you were going through it lol then seen a certain marker to confirm, GREAT Drive
Currently watching this video to soothe my anxiety and reminiscing on my to-be-rebuilt Civic
BEST video in months!
Hell yeah! Loved the last pov video im so happy to see another one
Thanks for watching dude! I’m sure I’ll have more someday
an awesome video to end my day. Always appreciate the civic🔥
You’re awesome! Thank you
I fucking love this, dudeeeee. Amazing shots, sceneries and details, even with such simplicity.
so simple, yet so nice.
Your red Civic is a clean boi alright. Sounds great and looks great too.
When I bring the Redline down you're gonna have to show me this epic route! Looks like a freaking fun adventure.
I blew my civic engine and it’s been sitting for a year I think it’s time I fix it again and use it. This video gave me the inspiration to do it

Hey Anthony are those the same headlights you restored on the civic ? They still look brand new I’m guessing the PPF is doing a great job ?
Yo, sick video. What gear do you use to film?
how fast were you going, hows the suspension holding up, in how fast can you take corners comfortably
Which gearbox has been used? What transmission did you set up with the D16y8? I'll be doing a project soon so need all the good guidance

Yes it’s an s2k wheel :)
There's probably a resonator in the stock intake you could remove or block
Use the oem shifter bushing to get rid of that shifter rattle.
Quick question is this front wheel drive or rear wheel drive?
Im going to have to go back and watch the old videos because i dont think i saw you add those seats to the car. Nevermind i already watched that one. Lol

@ALLDAYANTHONY yeah man you actually motivated me to get a civic. Just picked up a 99 civic hx coupe couple weeks ago.
Trying to mirror some of the part you have on yours so I can put em on mine
