Careful. Do it where no one is on the road with someone you know follow you. 2am is perfect. Thats how they did it back then if you want to drive routes or do what they used to do. Nice car control.

But I think you have to really start thinking of your family and the safety of others on the road. If you over corrected/undercorrected for that incident it could have easily been your life or the other motorists life at that speed. It’s best to keep it on the track like your other videos.

damn, that looks cool as hell, and the car sounds mean! i have one question though. with a car that old, and by driving so aggressively, aren't you putting a lot of stress on 30+ year old components? and do you have issues with reliability???
With a built car like this, almost everything is either gonna be new or reinforced, so no. These little old Hondas are so light they don't put much stress on the the components anyway. And Hondas are about as reliable a car as you could ask for.
Chuck is sketchy at any time unless after 12am. Cops squat the pullouts during the day and it's usually packed too. Way too much traffic usually to be doing runs like this. Nighttime is best but even then, cops are not far away half the time. Scout it a few times before hand.
That sucks that road used to be fun back in the mid 90's anyway. I used to drive it daily in the summer time on my way home from work. Rarely ever seeing a cop. we can never have anything nice.

But everyone and their mom is there in summer. Even if cops aren't there. You have a million cyclists and car groups there. Crashes are more frequent too.

I had lift throttle oversteer on demand like this on my '99 Integra. I was running custom Ground Controls with Koni Yellows and no swaybars. I think I had 450 up front and 650 in the back. The shocks definitely didn't handle that springrate too well. I had aftermarket upper control arms with camber adjustment. The control arms were designed to keep them from going through the hood lol. Nice vid.

Once I got it to actually stay tight, 2nd gear was a lot easier to hit, but going into every gear is still a little clunky. It is an unopened 190K+ trans though so I wouldn’t be surprised if it needs some loving

So what exactly caused the car to kick out on "The Save" was it elevation change, rough down shift, loose dirt? I couldnt figure out for sure. Also, sick driving man you're awesome.
He didn't fully rev-match the downshift which slowed the front wheels too much as he let the clutch out, causing the car to rotate around the front end.

I don’t have a list, I use to have a stock b16a2 with bolt ons and that was enough for me. The only difference now is the b20 block and still just bolt ons. I my opinion a any stock b series with bolt ons is the way to go. Simple is more dependable 👍🏾
