My AC works ok at highway speed. When I am in town you can feel the cold air but it is not cooling as well as at highway speeds. It was in the mid to high 90's when I noticed it. Mechanic (call in talk show) suggested my 1996 Town Car may have two fans. I took a quick look and there is a second fan between the main large fan and the radiator. Is the one close to the radiator for the AC. The plastic covering the fans is massive. Now sure if I would be able to see the inner fan turning with the engine on. Does the forward run only when AC is on?
Will this fan fit a Lincoln LS & is there a conversion kit to switch the LS from the original problematic hydraulic cooling fan to an electric fan that works with the Town Car fan?
Hello I see that you have to radiator for 2000 Lincoln Town Car one of them says before April 7 2000 says after April 8th 2000 is there a difference? I have a 2000 Signature Series touring addition which one should I get? Thank you!!!!
I have a newbie question that I can't find the answer to for my 2004 Grand Marquis: Do some superior aftermarket fans come designed to either fit into the existing housing, or are supplied with housing that fits my MGM nicely? I'm curious about this because of I live in AZ (which I love), where each summer is getting increasingly hotter. A more powerful and efficient fan with about the same draw as OEM would help those scary days of 115F, and I'd be willing to improve things to keep that engine and me cooler.
On the driver side door jamb of your car you should have a sticker that says when the car was made. it will have a production date on it. Then you can order the correct part for your Lincoln. Our sales staff can also help you at 888-844-3393 1aauto.com
Great! How about 2003-2005- grand marques, town car, crown vic. I know the fan controller is NOT available separate, on these. Get a Dorman 620-120, assembly, from your favorite parts store. About $135.00USD.

More than likely, that engine bay is pretty tight.
