    At 2:17 you say "press the bottom right" button to start the process. Actually, thats the bottom left button when looking at the machine.

    You said after you pour the descaling solution into the tank, that you "fill" the tank toi the top. The booklet and the tank itself has a line about one inch below max that shows a "CAL CLEAN" to fill the tank to that line.

    I have done the calc cleaning process several times with no issues. Yesterday, I did the cleaning process again and later on the screen appears to be cleaned again. I used the solution , lubricant and cleaned the brew. I have not idea what could be the issue.

    If I use a bottled water, do I even need to de-calc the machine?

    Only one of my sprouts are shooting coffee out. I have done all maintenance including descaling and degreasing but still only one down spout dispenses coffee...it's been going on for about a year now. Do you have any suggestions?

    • @stuartsherlock8322
      @stuartsherlock8322 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      idk if it will help but maybe one of the spouts is blocked, try thin wire or something that can get in the small hole and unblock it. i just had the descaling thing happen automatically. i havent got descaling tablets or solution so it just did it with water. it aint gonna kill me.

      @@stuartsherlock8322 thank you...I found a video that showed me how to pull the cover off and stick a pipe cleaner up the two small sprout holes. Works great now.

    Has anyone used vinegar to descale?

    • @scrappy3759
      @scrappy3759 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes and I had another machine die (Kuerig).I think it’s because the vinegar is not as effective at descaling as it kept asking me to descale even though I just did.
      I saw an interesting video from Whole Latte Love showing this. I’m glad I’ve never used vinegar on my Gaggia.

    How often do we descale? What are the signs that the machine needs to be descaled?

    • @silentvamp
      @silentvamp 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      When I asked this question via e-mail to wholelattelove, I was told to descale every 3 months. At the time I used my machine about twice daily

      @@silentvamp i use my machine quite a few times a day and its been months since i bought this machine and only today it did an auto calc clean and i was about to make a flipping drink, i had to wait 15 minutes. i didnt put solution in so i just used water. i tried canceling the cleaning but i couldnt. so for ur information it has a certain amount of usages untill it auto descales so u dont have to worry when to descale it like once a month or defrag a windows PC. lol.

  • @stuartsherlock8322

    why does it take 15 minutes which is hella long and use a lot of water, when it could just heat up water, run for 2 minutes in bother sections and boom there ya go. not hey lets make a mile long tube piping for water to come from tank to spout. seriously what is it descaling? i open the right door and still have to clean that thing and empty the flipping tray everyday and fill water up everyday. it can be annoying. i need that just a little bit bigger tank. and this descaling thing popped up and i couldnt do anything for 15 minutes when i wanted a drink. i couldnt stop it and make a drink. i was thinking of unplugging it and see if that works but i just left it to clean. imagine waking up in the morning and wanting a drink befor work and it auto descales, thats 15 mins wasted and maybe not have a drink.
