Absolute legend. Car felt slow and shifted rough. Tried this and immediately she feels quicker and shifts smoother than ever before.

Shocked, I thought my car would be the one this reset wouldn’t work for. I followed the instructions and no more 2.5k gear changes back down to 1.5k, paddles work again and kick down back to normal, a big thank you from me.
bro I am eternally grateful for you sharing your knowledge I tried your method & gave a sigh of relief .My gear was stuck in 3rd & at times was rough shifting up to that no. in addition there was no manual selection with the paddles I thought that's it! time to invest in a bus pass. I have a Mercedes E250 7g in the UK.
Had issue with gear upshift being late and rpms going high for a gear change and had the EML on.
Did this and now the gears are back to normal. EML went off within 2 days or 4th - 5th time going out in the car.

Fantastic tip! My W212 2015, developed a fault, being M couldn't be selected and the paddles wouldn't work. This amazing tip fixed it!..Going to MB would have charged me £££££! Many thanks for this ::)

Going to try this now and pray to god that it works. A quick note (hoping you don't mind!). When you turn the ignition over you don't actually have to hold the key, just turn it over and let go and it'll move back to position 2 itself.

I did it, and the car got more quicker in acceleration, I felt diffrence rihgt the way. felt like sport mode in normal mode.
I drive in city so I need diffrent style, before it was slow to change. So thanks.

Hello Friend, I need your help, I have 2010 E550 4matic Mercedes Benz, my friend who knows how to work on cars, replaced both front CV axles, after he was done and put everything back together, the car won't drive, it goes into Drive and park at the same time, engine rev's but does not move, it still goes into reverse though. please help.

hi. I did this for me 2011 e350 blue tec and it worked! however, I have noticed oddly that my Bluetooth streaming audio from android devices has stopped working. It used to work fine before. I can make and receive blue tooth calls. I have troubleshooted and tried the engineering settings. most certain I need a new firmware update for the command. but is there any way I can do this myself at home? thx

The car learns how you drive every 10 mins if you want the car to be more sharp and not lazy when you pull up on round about thrush it few times by accelerating by pressing the kick down button few times and your mb will keep the gear on high revs even if you cruise and it start to race
Brill vid thank you, my E 220 W212 in the last three months has failed to go into gear three times , i stop the engine take the key out count to ten and then all is ok ( fingers crossed ) i will try this method so the car drives like the old fart i am now !

Hi our mercedes w212 does not up shift gears in tiptronic merceders quoted R22k to fix ii. In automatic it changes gears.

QUESTION: 2010 E63 - I am having issues that some times - my car will not go into park - what will cause this???
Others have commented that once you turn the key back to position Zero you should keep your foot down for a further minimum 10 seconds.

You can pull out the button. You're able to use the key then
Press the start without your foot on the brake, that position one, then press again and et voila. The car won’t start unless you hold the brake
How would you know if it works or not? I don't want to assume it worked but didn't. I have 2015 W212 E63S AMG.

My 2009 7G E350cgi somethimes feels like it goes in neutral en revs. It happened on the highway once for 2 sec. and then was back to normal. This morning after stopping, the car was in drive, but revved like in neutral. Turned the car of and on again and it was gone. Will this solve my issue?

Is the engine light on? Maybe it’s the DPF filter clogged up. I had this issue 3 years ago and have the same issue now.

On my Mercedes W212 when im climbing if a stop it rolls back a lot and as i know that should not be happening because it's an automatic car and sometimes when i start the car it takes a lot of throttle to start going do you know what could that be

I have a 2010 E350 Petrol. It was not upshifting. Tried this method. It does not work.
So what do I do if I have push start & no where to put the key into?
Just push it once and the electrics should come in
What if you do the reset but don’t drive the car right away?
But that doesn't solve the problem if you have one !!
