    In April 2019, I flew across the country and bought what was at the time the cheapest dual motor (all wheel drive) and Autopilot-equipped Tesla in the country - sight unseen. I walk you through my ownership experience in which I put 44k miles on the Tesla in 12 months and have the odometer cross over 150k miles. I go through the physical condition, maintenance and repairs, anticipated upcoming maintenance and repairs as well as talk about what you should look for if you’d like to keep a high mileage Tesla or if you would like to save money by buying a high mileage Tesla. Happy to answer any questions you may have in the comments! Thank you!

    What is the build date on your car?? My 70d was built in 11/15 but I find the seats to be too firm, lacking cushioning. Curious.
    Mine has 46070 miles, charges to 238 miles on full charge. Replaced first set of tires around 40k. Had to replace 2 door handles under warranty. 12 volt replaced, airbag replacement done, rear hatch telescoping lifters replaced under warranty as the bolts holding them to the window frame became corroded.
    Otherwise, all systems work and the car -starts- runs perfectly everyday. 0-60 in 5.2 sec still puts that Tesla smile on my face.

One has 220k miles on it, Model S 85 seemingly good interior with air suspension and pano roof , $22k is what I talked seller down to out of Texas. Another I am eyeballing is a 2014 S 85 Performance with pan roof and 136k miles on it for $26k out of Florida. Any idea what the better deal is here? Does 50-100k mileage really make a huge difference on Tesla's where there are fewer engine parts. If you had to pick between the two with just this info which one is the better deal for price? Hard to make a judgement call without seeing them and testing them in person for sure though. Any other tips I should look for if I go see these rides in person not included on the video? I have a 2013 Tesla model S performance P 85+ no auto pilot no need I rather be in control of the car. Don’t really trust it too much I paid 22,200 or 112,000 in the car runs beautiful.

    is it relevant how you got to the dealer?

    • @user-xf9sv7qu8q
      @user-xf9sv7qu8q หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yes, because if you cavort across the country to a dealer, you're pretty committed to purchase at that point.
      Otherwise, you'll be looking at a last minute flight.
      Due to past used vehicle experience, it's pretty ballsy to immediately go on a roadtrip in a high mileage used vehicle.

    i feel like the high mileage view of damage is kind of dumb to show. it has everything to do how well the person who owned it took care of it. That seat is terrible and honestly your fault it has that wear. I have seen vids of teslas with over 200,000 miles that look almost new cuz the owner took care of it.

    That tech is so out dated. Your spending so much money on a old Tesla you should buy a new one hassle free, I had old tesla with so many problems as well I sold it ASAP

    "Supercharging isn't very expensive"
    One thing that's common among EV youtubers is the poor math skills. @0.4/kWHr, a Prius is twice as economical. Think about that next time a youtuber tells you he's saving $ on gas.
